We got there a few minutes before our appointment for a basic oil change at 8:00. Staff we friendly. We were led through the sevice area on a yellow brick road of sorts to the waiting area, which was very clean and stocked with drinks and TV. I think I'd prefer walking outside to get to the waiting area and back to the service desk. It seems a waste to have staff leading customers to and from the area. Maybe just ring them when the car is done and they can come to the service desk on their own. Sports are not my favorite and it was playing and they were constantly talking for the hour and 15 minutes I waited. I think it'd be nice have a choice to change the channel. At 8:55, I hadn't heard anything, so walked outside to the service area and explained my don was supposed to work at 9:00, so we needed to go. They finished 15 minutes later at 9:10 and were led back through the service area to the service desk. We paid and left. Overall an okay experience. It's a warm and friendly bunch and the price is good, but wish it'd have finished a little faster. I thinks it's good to tell customers up front that it takes over an hour for an oil change, so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Great customer service with very reasonable prices! They are the best price around for oil changes!! I stopped in today to ask them to check the pressure on my tires because one seemed overinflated. They took my car back and put the right amount of pressure and even drove it around to make sure that the sensors were correct. All at no charge! This is my favorite auto shop.

I will start out saying most of my experience here was good until I brought in my vehicle for an oil change. I also asked them to look at my brakes specifically the driver s side rear as it was making noise and down to metal on metal. I was told that the brake caliper on that particular wheel was froze up and due to this that I needed to replace both rear brake calipers as well as the rotors and brake pads on each wheel. I found this to be a bit odd as the vehicle was pretty new and only had 40k miles on it. I chose to bring it to a local Mitsubishi dealer hoping that the calipers might be under warranty. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the calipers and neither needed replacing saving myself the nearly $800 they would have cost. The Mitsubishi dealer fixed what needed fixing and replaced the worn rotors and brake pads. Brakes have been quiet and worked great since. I tried numerous times to contact Merlin s in Andover and never received any kind of response. I can only assume that they either straight out lied about the calipers needing to be replaced or just didn t take the time to figure out what the actual issue was. Either way I was not happy but I guess I will never know as they have never returned my messages about the issue. This surprised me as I have used them for a few things in the past and was always happy with the work.

Don't bother they don't diagnose properly so they can keep having you come back in. Had a new Cadillac converter put on and they cracked the rest of the exhaust system actually went to an exhaust place and had them repair system.

They were very prompt with their service, didn t play any of the usual upsell games you run into at most shops, did a great job reasonably and were extremely friendly a nice chat with. Their a fairly new shop that understands what service is all about, I highly recommend!

I m a certified diesel mechanic who brought my truck to This place to have an alignment done..I can t even believe I m saying this but this place actually told me my truck needed $1800 of suspension work in the front end of the truckI took a video of all of the suspension components in the front end of the truck before bringing it to this shop To show that everything is tight and nothing is loose at all anywhereThey would not align my truck and blatantly lied to my face, saying that I had numerous loose pieces of suspension, which is not true at allI brought my truck over to heartland auto in Ramsey to have them align the truck and wouldn t you know it! My total was $129 for the alignment and no parts needed. Everything was tight. Absolutely unbelievable. I wouldn t recommend my worst enemy to go to this shop Merlin

I did alignment here for my 2017 Nissan Altima. They are awesome mechanics. Alignment is great, steering wheel is straight, the car doesn t pull to sides at all

I have been to this shop multiple times for work on my car and the work has always been done correctly and at a fair price. I love that they have a loaner car I can use when they need my car for a longer period to allow me to still go to work.Also the staff is great, you can tell that they enjoy being there and what they do.Very friendly atmosphere.Definitely would recommend them to anybody that wants a job done rightServices: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

SCAM ARTIST!! I REPEAT SCAM ARTIST! Do not go to Merlin Complete Auto Care.I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Merlin Complete Auto Care, and I must say it was nothing short of a complete scam. I strongly advise against ever going there.Here's a brief summary of what happened during my visit:They provided me with an outrageous quote of $6,920.00 for suspension work that was supposedly necessary before they could proceed with a simple wheel alignment. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to tack on a $35.00 "rack" charge. I had recently replaced my struts at the dealership, and there was no way there was nearly $6,920.00 worth of suspension work needed. Clearly, this was a blatant attempt to scam me.Despite specifying a full synthetic oil change on the work ticket, they proceeded to use SEMI synthetic oil in my car. I can only wonder how many unsuspecting customers they have deceived in a similar manner.To make matters worse, there was no acknowledgment of their wrongdoing, no apologies, and no attempts to make things right.Thankfully, I took my business next door to Christian Brothers, a reputable auto care establishment, where I had my alignment completed without any issues.As a result of this scam job, I have initiated a chargeback with my credit card company to recover the full amount.Please take my experience as a stern warning, and steer clear of Merlin Complete Auto Care. They are nothing but scam artists who cannot be trusted.

We were given an estimate of a little over 1 hour. Over 3 hours later we got a call stating that the alignment couldn't be done on our vehicle. Drove away with a busted exhaust that was caused by the technician but wasn't disclosed to us. Where's the great service that existed under previous owners? Really disappointed and hope others don't experience this.

I had an an alignment done there after another shop gave me a quote that was too high in my opinion. They did the job at a fair price and and the staff were awesome from the sales rep down to the techs. The work was top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality job at a fair price. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.Service: Wheel alignment

Update: My son found yet another social media post about him & his car from someone at Merlin which proved they had clearly lied to my son/wife about the alignment work. What a joke of an organization!Initial Post:We miss the old owners. My son had an appointment to get an alignment. We got a call later that they couldn't complete the work (frustrating, but understandable). When my son got his car, the exhaust was broken and dragging on the ground.Finally, later, he found someone from Merlin's had posted a picture of my son's car on social media with a condescending message.What a terrible experience and complete lack of integrity & customer service.We will never use Merlin again (after having such great experiences when it was Andover Wheel & Frame). And we will tell everyone we know to avoid that place!Service: Wheel alignment

I have used Merlin on many occasions. They have a loaner car which is necessary for my agility to use them for service.The work has always been done correctly, on-time and by a trustworthy team.They are always running some sort of special too which makes the work affordable.One note to mention is they have amazing (unbelievable!) 200,000 mile warranty on a lot of the work they do!I have 200,000 mile tires, and brakes are too!I would definitely recommend Merlin to anyone that passes through this neck of the woods!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

The drive belt tensioner broke on My daughter s SUV broke.Wonderful experience start to finish!!! When I called, the guy was SO friendly and helpful. They got her vehicle in and fixed the next day, They were very reasonably priced, they never pushed what else could be or should be done! I m not one to write review s, but with such great service, good prices, and how fast it was fixed, it was well deserved!!!!Service: Oil change

They fixed my door handle, which was great! Also did an affordable oil change. I needed my breaks done. They told me I needed calipers done. Went and got it looked at, at slims in anoka and they did my breaks and said I didn't need the calipers. I saved so much money not getting those calipers. Merlin's mechanic was insistent on telling me that my calipers were a huge issue. Don't know why other than they wanted to quote me $1750 instead of $1200.

I recently had some brake work done here on an older vehicle. Their inspection was thorough and they didn t try to pressure me into replacing anything that didn t need it. Considering that and their reasonable prices, I ll definitely try them out again.

Went in for an oil change, they did a great job and was done quickly!Also, while there I mentioned my trunk not being able to open, they were able to figure out what was wrong with it ordered the parts and had it fixed within a day. Very nice people! Good work!
