Good service. They were doing a transmission flush / fluid replacement, when they found that my rear sway bars had sheared off. They wee able to fix them within an hour. Prices were reasonable also.

Great service from CG honest 1! I had hit a pole in the ice and my car was leaking, not only did they find the leak and patch it they fixed part of the bumper that was caved in! 10/10 service would recommend!

I definitely felt welcomed and the service clerk was a great advisor in explaining what s was happening to my vehicle. I appreciated how Luke was answering my questions and offer complementary beverages while I wait, and then offer a free car rental as long as I return it with a full tank of gas.Also, I like receiving my vehicle inspection link that not only informs me of the green, yellow, and red areas, but a description of what it is and why it is important.

I took a car there for a pre-purchase used car inspection. They were able to squeeze me in that morning and give me a really good analysis of the state of the car and immediate in your term maintenance I could expect if I purchased it. Price was reasonable The guy at the counter was friendly and they gave me photos and electronic report to support what they were saying. Don't know what more I can ask for

Honest? . They charged customer way too much. I got a minor thing done, approximate quote was $60, when it was done, the total came up to $120, i asked them why was it this much, the dude just responded, the system charge this much.So i did another test:I asked them about what is the cost to replace battery, the dude said $400 + tax, More expensive than replacing 2 new tire? I was laughing on tje inside.They should change the name to "Scam-1 auto care."Never again, hope this place went bankrupt.Here's fun fact go look how they responded to others 1 stars reviews. It shows that they aren't professional. Bunch of adults with teenagers mentality.

I recently had my car in for a bad fuel injector. I was leaving for vacation so I didn t have time to work on it myself and wanted to come back to a running winter ride in case we got snow while we were away. I dropped it off and I quickly got a call confirming what was wrong with the car. Bad injector to be replaced with gasket kit, spark plugs, and oil change since the fuel most likely seeped past the rings into the oil below. Cool, I said go ahead. I was told there was an oil leak and they would go through and add dye to the system to see where it was coming from. I said go ahead. He said alright we will get to cleaning it and let you know what we find. I got a call back later the next day when the parts arrived to fix it and they said they were almost finished and wanted to see if I wanted to clean the carbon build up from the valves and I declined. I figured I may get around to it when I have time when we get back from vacation since I knew the car had high mileage already. No problem. I went to pick it up and I paid the tab and got my keys. Right away I noticed a check engine light and figured it would go away when I would drive it later that day on my way to work. I got it home and finished up my day before work and when I got out to my car I plugged in my code reader and found 5-6 new codes and was confused. Then I noticed the fuel smell. I went under the hood to find fuel around the intake and puddled on the drive way. WTH? I checked my work report they sent me and saw it said I deferred the oil leak test and cleaning? No I didn t. That s fine. They didn t charge me, I don t care . But my take away is the lack of care to test drive the car to make sure the symptoms are gone. The check engine light was on right when I left the shop. When I dropped the car off there was a different warning light (EPC light) on but no check engine light. How don t you notice that? Now I called back and let them know I have fuel everywhere and am instructed to call a 1800 number on the work order and I can have it towed in and be reimbursed later. I said no thanks and called AAA to come and drop it off because now I have to take a Lyft to work. I got a call saying it was a different o ring than what they had worked on inside the intake which they weren t going to charge me for. Well no duh. It should have been caught before and added to the bill, in my eyes all of the injectors have to be aligned and reattached to the head with the intake upon reassembly, o rings could be snagged and damaged upon reassembly. Human error happens. I get that. It just started to snowball and inconvenience the customer when it could have been caught. Also of the 4 spark plugs they replaced, one of them was less than an hour old as anyone could tell but I was still charged $499 for 10 minutes of labor to swap four spark plugs which are easily accessible and like I said one of them was brand spanking new. I have never seen anything like that in my life. Lack of attention and follow up. The work has a warranty but other then me going back for that I wouldn t think twice about not returning here. It is upsetting to not feel like you can not be taken care of in your local shop.

Hi, my husband and I are still new to the area, and we are late writing this review since they helped us back in July. But we still wanted to post what a great job these mechanics did to help us with our car. They were willing to tackle problems we had with our engine cylinders misfiring.. a fix, that a different Honest-1 location had quoted we would need a total engine replacement costing us over $12,000.These guys at Cottage Grove helped resolve the issues at a fraction of the cost quoted elsewhere. Chris was very helpful and the team did everything they could do get it done punctually. Very dependable mechanics with honest feedback.- Lisa and Kenny

I won t be returning. They are way to expensive and not that honest either. They wanted me to pay 75 dollars to clean some oil off to see where my oil leak was coming from. Took it to my mechanic who will now be doing my oil changes for me due to what he saw they did. They topped nothing off. Charged me 74 bucks and that was with a 15 dollar coupon.My mechanic knew right away that I needed a gasket which he ordered and did for me.Plus they put a small air filter in that probably cost them a buck. Cheapest one u could ever imagine. So got that changed out. No , will never go backNot friendly either.

My car was dying while driving and killing the battery. I had it towed to honest 1 with a DEAD BATTERY, 3 different times within a few weeks, and Everytime they charged me for diagnostics as well as repairing a few things that didn't help. I took it to a dealership, they immediately tested the alternator and found it to be the problem. I was pretty shocked and disappointed that I spent over $3k here and they never thought to test the alternator. Also, The prices actually turned out to be higher than the dealership that fixed it surprisingly.

Even though they couldn't do my alignment cause of my own fault of not changing my tires beforehand, they still did an inspection of my vehicle and checked the tie rod I installed, which made me happy. Great group of folks. A+Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I recently gave a poor review for some scheduling conflicts with Honest 1. However, the staff were overly generous and extremely apologetic about the confusion. I felt very welcomed, and they took great care of my vehicle, with a very thorough inspection. I received updates throughout the entire process from inspection to repair. Chris is extremely nice, and didn t even make me pay anything for my alignment as gratitude for returning to their shop. Doing something thoughtful like that is unheard of these days, and amazing customer service in my opinion. I will definitely be returning for any repairs in the future. Somehow they always seem to suggest that I need new breakpads, rotors, and air filters even if my husband replaced them a month earlier. Also, you have to remember if your repairs/parts are under their warranty still because they won't always tell you.

I found them to be very accommodating and kept me informed. Cost estimates were accurate with no surprises. I've used H-One for years and not been disappointed. Besides the tire rotation and oil change, they replaced the front strut assembly and replaced the differential oil. Great service!

Charged me $81 to tell me the heater hose had a leak which was obviously the reason I took it there. Chris advised he might not be able to get the part due to age of the vehicle. He then told me good news he found one but had to wait on the part. The bad news the estimate was $830.20 for parts and labor. Another shop was about 1/2 of that. I bought assembly on line ,1 gallon antifreeze total $55 and fixed it in a parking lot. Chris did offer to buy the car for $100, Honest? I don't think so.Reply rebuttal, I told Chris we were in process of selling my father's car, he took his employee who was interested in purchasing this car to look at it. I told him I knew what the value of my father's car was worth fixed BUT was OPEN to an offer as is. I did contact a steel recycler in Prescott Wi and was quoted $245 for the car as scrap. I doubt Chris would have scrapped the car for a heater hose. Honest? I don't think so.

I ve had these guys work on two different vehicles,one of them a few times. Every time I ve been shocked at how much much money they charged me. Today I brought in a car that needed some brakes and a couple other things looked at. They gave me a quote for $2700!!!! Then when I said no way I m paying that they held my keys hostage till I paid them $140 for the estimate. They tried blaming the outrageous quote on the price of parts being so high. We have always been happy with the service we receive at the Honest 1 in Anoka. One of our service vans was headed to a project near Cottage Grove this morning where we started having brake issues. I searched for local repair shops near the project and Honest 1 Cottage Grove appeared as one of the options. I reached out and spoke with Chris, explained our situation of how unsafe my employee felt when the issue arose and how our customers depend on us to provide electrical services to their homes and businesses. Chris told me to get the van to him ASAP which we did and he will get us taken care of right away. This was all before 8AM today and my employees were picking the vehicle up around Noon same day. AMAZING! You guys knocked it out of the park for us today and we greatly appreciate it.Service: Brakes

I was seeking an 2nd opinion on some other Auto shop inspection. I have received honest auto care from Honest 1 in past years, on other vehicles.I don t recall all the people over the years who I have interacted with. However I can say that I have always been treated fairly, honestly.The continuing theme of this company has stood the test of time in my view. Fair and honest work. Thank you Honest 1 for honesty and integrity! You fixed what I needed fixed, and got my car back on the road. You didn't try and oversell me on something that didn't need to be done at this time. You even worked with me and my wife when power and internet went down because a tree fell. I will definitely be bringing my car to Honest 1 in the future!Service: General repairs & maintenance
