Don't take your cars here!!!!! Charged for repairs that didn't happen. And 3 of 4 brand new tires leak. Awesome job guys.

I would like to start this review by being completely transparent. I am an Automotive Repair Shop Owner who was traveling through Cloquet on my way for a fishing trip in Canada. About 50 miles south of Cloquet i picked up a nail in one of my tires. This happened late at night on a Wed. but we made it to Cloquet about 10:30. I filled the tire with air and hoped it would hold enough to get me to a tire shop in the morning. I was setting on the door step of the first shop to open at 7:00 Thursday morning which was Wal-Mart. Wal-mart said it will be 11:00 am before we can get you in. Back to Google and the next shop opened at 8:00. We drove to Junction Tire and camped on their door step until they opened. The service advisor told my he would "squeeze me in first thing before they started rolling for the day. 30 minutes later we were back on the road on our way. The service advisor went above the call of duty in my opinion and the General Service technician came to talk with me after the repair and said he found 2 nails in the tire, one he repaired and the second had not breached the tires liner (not leaking) and I should be fine. It was at this point that I admitted to being a shop owner myself and congratulated them on providing customer service comparable to what we provide at our shop. I paid my bill, thanked them all and passed the Service Advisor a few bucks to buy some refreshments for the crew! If you are a resident of Cloquet or the surrounding area, or simply reading this review while Googling tire service in your area, in my professional opinion, you cant make a better choice. Didn t even want to patch a tire cause it was the last hour of the day. Junction tire in Carlton is the place to go.

I started going here because my boyfriend takes his car here when it needs tires or work done. They are knowledgeable and very nice people there who take care of you and your car. Toyota wanted to charge me $1,600 for front end work and when I brought it here for a second opinion they told me what i really needed and that it costs way less then what Toyota wanted. They could of gotten more money out of me yet they were honest and got my car done fast. As long as I live in Minnesota I will be bringing my car here for maintenance.

Showed up with a flat tire that I got 4 blocks away from the shop. Was told there was nothing they could do for me.... Never looked at it or anything. Absolutely worthless.

First time here. They got me in for 4 all new tires, same day. Or next day if I wanted to order anything specific. Took maybe an hour. They weren't pushy at all like some places I had checked out in the cities (since I happened to be down there for the weekend). Would definitely recommend for the ladies out there. They seem honest and hard workers. FYI: not Ryan...His sister Laura :)

I came in mid afternoon with no appointment with a fairly easy fix, but something I couldn't get too. They got me on a lift in between appointments and had me back on the road before they closed up shop. They were great!

I was in a super hurry on my way down to the Twin Cities because my daughter was having surgery. My tire pressure light came on and I pulled off at the closest tire place. The people there were super nice and patched my tire right away. The cost was reasonable and they were friendly. Thank you!

Brought car in for a 9am appointment for two tire change/balance and a rotation. Picked up car at 1040 and still no rotation done. Process were all fair and they even checked my tire sensors when I came back as my TPM light hasn't gone out (failed sensor on a different tire). Guy in charge was pleasant and accommodating - Bumped from 3 to 4 stars just cause of that.

Super friendly service staff, which in my experience isn't common in the auto repair industry. They do good work, fairly quickly and charge reasonable prices.

Excellent service!! We were just passing through Cloquet while on vacation when the alternator drive belt needed to be replaced. They had an open bay, got the part quickly and had us on our way quickly. They went above and beyond what was required. The service person also noticed the oil plug was not tight, tightened it and added oil. Awesome service!!!

Do not waste your money! First my son had tires put on & there were lug nuts left loose! Then I had a tire repaired & it still leaked. Brought it back & they tried blaming aluminum rims for leak. I took it home used soapy water & found leak. Brought it to stock tire because I no longer had any faith in junction. Guy at stock told me repair I had done was leaking, had wrong type of patch & was ground out too much on the inside so when they tried to put the correct patch in it wouldn t seal. Out a tire with ay least 3/4 life left if repair would ve been done right by Junction! Dishonest!! Tried to blame aluminum rim when it was the repair all along!!

Very unprofessional.Will never get our bussiness again, we should have said that the last time alsoFor the second time we tried to give them a try after the first time, they pretended things where wrong in the car and tried thinking we knew nothing about cars and tried getting more money from us then they really needed.Now this time, they tell us to come at 1pm, for an oil change and tires put on and you guys are not even open.Get to know your own hours and stop giving people nonexsistant appointments when your not open.Also from the comments that was given by owner and other comments from other customers they also tell you information about old employees, AND they give out personal info like, this person did this and this is why that happened, be honest and keep words that don't belong to others out of your mouth

my car was shaking horribly on the highway all summer long. I thought I would need a new wheel bearing/hub assembly. The guys and junction tire informed me that crappy tires can cause shaking on the highway. They set me up with 4 all season cooper tires and like that the shake was gone and I m set for winter. Highly recommend!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Was quoted one price over the phone and when I arrived the price jumped up by over $300 on my estimate without any additional work added. Held vehicle ransom and extorted me for extra fees. 1Star for the only saving grace of this butcher shop is that the mechanical work that was done was up to par.

Liked this place when Tom was there. Tom was always helpful. His replacement lacks people skills, and has a demeanor border lining on rude. When you walk into a place, you want to feel like you're being listened to, not left hanging, that's how Tom made you feel. But this other guys curtness really flatlines my confidence in this place. They had good mechanics there a few years back, but since they got rid of Tom..it seems the whole crew has disappeared. Still, I took my car for tires the other day, the guy at the front (Tom's replacement) didn't know enough about my vehicle, & didn't seem to care how long it would take to fix when I asked. He then seemed really triggered when I briefly mentioned that when Tom was there (he cut me off in mid-sentence after saying Tom's name) --- I continued to finish my sentence stating: "he could at least tell me how long it takes to replace a tail light bulb".He went on a tangent about how Tom stole $30,000..& Tom is in prison. I said, "That's not right to talk about Tom like that..he was always a nice guy to me." Apparently Tom made such great first impressions to customers, that his replacement practically can't stop throwing a Tomtrum..if you even mention his name. He says it over the phone, he says it to your face. Plus, I don't see how this is good business policy. No matter what a former employee has done, there are boundaries against spreading vicious rumors.Was this front page news I missed? Or is this just a rumor? Who knows if anything happened to Tom.. does Tom know that every time his name is mentioned his replacement is stating Tom was a criminal? Show me the public record of Tom, and his arrest for grand theft, I'd like to read it myself.No matter what, it doesn't send a positive message about Junction Tire, having a dude assassinate Tom's character. Who does that benefit?Once but no longer a steady customer..all because of Tom. You really need someone there who has people skills, someone who does not take the name "Tom" personally.

Not an honest shop and they're best mechanic left I highly recommend not using them!! Charlie in esko on Stedman Rd is the best mechanic around and runs Done right automotive
