Excellent service. My car was in a minor collision that damaged the rear passenger door. When I called Youngstedts to ask if they could repair it, the first thing the manager Mike asked me after I said I was in a collision was Are you okay? I really appreciated the time he took to check in with me, not just ask about the car.They took excellent care of my car, worked with my insurance to make sure it was all covered, and finished the repairs within a week. It looks good as new. I ll be taking my car back if it ever needs repairs again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had two things repaired on my Chevrolet. Youngstedts did a terrible job.1. My left front quarter panel needed replacement after a collision with a drunk driver. Youngstedts assured me they would use the same gauge steel as the original. They didn't. It's flimsy when pushed on compared to the right side and already has a dent due to the thin gauge cheap replacement. They also insisted they had to "blend" the paint into the front door to match the paint. It does not match and in fact has a NOTICABLE pink hue that is clearly visible in the photo I've provided in this review. On top of that they didn't paint the mounting hardware and left raw steel that is now rusting. "(See Photo) To add insult to injury they reattached the outside strip of trim and logo by eye and it's not level. It's off almost a 1/4" (See photo)2. A friend locked my keys in the vehicle and instead of telling me he attempted to access the interior door lock button with a coat hanger. In doing so he badly scratched the area where the front and rear passenger doors meet near the roof. Youngstedts told me they could paint these scratches but did an exceptionally poor job. On the front door they just dabbled some paint on the edge and the rear door they did NOTHING (See Photos) They also did nothing to address the scratches on the area below the weather stripping where the door closes against the body (See Photo)Be very cautious when having work done by Youngstedts as they cut corners and don't live up to their promises. I paid for this out of pocket and was not represented by an insurance company. Bottom line, get all their "promises" in writing.

horrible service yesterday I went to that workshop . For an estimate and the person who contacted me had a terrible attitude, I dare to say that he is a RASIST person, he dared to tell me that not even the winged workshop. Abra don t the estimate for me because they have communication sonot recommendable

Gotta say, these guys were incredibly great. My car had a little molding damage caused from one of their car washes and they were so respectful and empathetic. Promptly took care of the damage with none of the bs you might expect. I will 100% continue being a customer and sharing my experience. Well done Youngstedts

My experience at Youngstedts Collision Center was exception from the first phone call, through the entire repair process, until I picked up my beautifully repaired car. I honestly would give them 10 stars if possible, for above and beyond friendly, courteous, prompt, and professional communication and service. Thank you all!

I had an extremely intense repair needed after an accident. In dealing with a very difficult insurance company, my repair took a week longer than expected while they were approving repairs that weren't part of my estimate. Although this was no fault of Youngstedts, they provided me a vehicle to use during the extended time the repairs took. When I did get my vehicle back, the work they did was outstanding. They were professional, courteous, and really went the extra mile when it comes to customer service.

I recently had my vehicle repaired here after I was rear ended and once again Mike and his Team took great care of me. My vehicle looks like new and was repaired on time and at a fair price. I have used Youngstedt's Collision several times and highly recommend them! They care about you and your vehicle and will do the right thing to make you satisfied.

I just had one of the best experiences I've ever had dealing with repair shops. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They simply tell it like it is and do what's right. UPDATED: Was contacted by the Manager, Mike. He asked for an opportunity to turn things around and make it right - and he did. He asked questions to better understand what happened, as well to ensure he knew what I needed to have done. He then had me bring my vehicle back in and it was promptly taken care of. This was reminiscent of the service I had received 2 years ago, and I appreciate the his determination to take a bad experience and turn it around. Thank You Mike!So incredibly disappointed. Had an incident 2 years ago, and the Collision Center handled it pretty well. Now, another issue has developed; called and spoke with JR - he was clearly defensive from the beginning, for no reason. Probably just assumed I was going to say the new issue was a result of their work from 2 years ago - which was not the case.He told me to bring my truck in on Mon 7/24, at 10am, so they could look at it. I walked in on Mon 7/24 at 10am - and he immediately told me they couldn't do anything that day. I was annoyed, but let it go. He said they could look at it on Thurs 7/26 - so I dropped Wed night, so they could have it first thing. Of course, I had to call them, as no one called to me provide any update; diagnosis confirmed a leak, which is what I initially thought was happening.So had to make another appointment to have the work done; it was explained to me the windshield would have to be removed, and as a result, would be a 50/50 chance it would break. Scheduled for Tues 8/1; however, I had to reschedule - asked if either Wed or Thurs would be better - JR said Thursday.Dropped the vehicle on the evening of Wed 8/2 - didn't hear anything all day on Thurs 8/3, so I called in at 1:31pm. JR said he'd check and get back to me in 15 minutes. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM! I called at again at 5:23 to get an update. NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE WITH MY VEHICLE!! Said they didn't want to take the windshield out and let it sit outside, due to the threat of rain, as they didn't have a windshield there. What in the world... they knew exactly what had to be done and they knew a windshield was most likely going to be needed...I should have followed my gut from the beginning when I was put off on the phone, and then again when I first went in 7/24. But gave them the benefit of the doubt, based on prior experience.... but clearly, things have changed.Absolutely HORRIBLE!

If you want your car to be treated like garbage, and you like to be yelled at for simple questions and insinuated that you're a liar, then this is the place for you!I have never had such terrible customer service in my life. My car was fixed here over the summer and left with new scratches, and grease all over the roof. One of the doors that was fixed has progressively become harder to open; I tried to remove the door so I could add grease, but it was not possible. So I contacted one manager and he said to bring it by, another manager was there when I arrived and he was angry from the second I walked in. Rather than suggesting lubing the bolts, he yelled that I should lube the bolts and it's "literally the easiest thing you can do". What a suggestion, when the problem is I can't get to the pieces that need the lube, which could very well mean that when repairing the doors, paint got into the henges.

Awesome experience. Although getting in a car accident was not a good experience, having Youngsteds Collision Center to handle next steps was amazing. From calls and follow ups, to having access to my totaled car, to having them take the plates off for me for sentimental value. This team is truly great. I Recommend them highly

They have great customer service, very knowledgable. But the only reason for not 5 stars is I have had many issues with the paint quality and paint peeling off. I have had to go in 3 times now to have the car repainted it was all done for free with a rental no charge but has just been a hassle. I would recommened going here for collision repair but be sure to keep your receipts.

Knowledgeable and honest. I was in a fender bender and there was a panel on my car that was slightly out of place. I went to get an estimate to have it fixed and JR simply popped it back into place in under 2 seconds. These people are very knowledgeable and very honest. I plan to come back to Youngstedts Chanhassen to get all my future body work done.

I had a very traumatic morning after accidentally locking my son in my vehicle. The police were able to open the door and everything was fine but the mechanism they use to do so go stuck between the window and panel. After being quoted Over a 100 dollars to take it elsewear to be removed I took it into youngsteads without an appointment. JR was SO accommodating and they took care of it in 15 minutes . They even brought the car across the street to the restaurant I was at with my kids while waiting. To top it off they didn't even charge me for the service. After a crazy and scary morning it was an incredibly nice and unexpected gesture of them. I was blown away, Thank you!

What a disappointment! I brought my car in for an oil leak, was told I would need 3 parts replaced and it would cost $476. After just recently spending $800 for a repair, I decided to get a second opinion. I ended up needing only 1 part replaced and saved myself $400! I will not return---not even to use up my oil change card. Makes me wonder about all the other repairs I've had done there.... Hennen's Shell in Shakopee saved the day!

Manager Mike has been incredibly helpful and courteous throughout my transaction. He's gone above and beyond to be sure that I understand the work needed and accommodating with transportation options during my cars time in the shop!

I was in an accident in November which was a pretty traumatic experience. Mike and JR at Youngstedts Collision Center helped me through the whole process and my van looks great! I hope I don't NEED their services soon, but I would definitely go back.

Great services and I trust them. Had an experience where the initial part for the window was not the issue and they ensured the root cause was found and I was not charged for original parts. Issue solved and very pleased with outcome!!!

I had a great experience. Did what they said they were going to do and in the timeline I was given. Gave me an update call on day two to let me know they would complete the work ontime and when I could pick my car up.
