I went to S&S for a second opinion after I got the dealership said I needed major repairs. Steve was straight forward and honest. He did a comprehensive assessment of my vehicle, and saved me a ton of money. Highly recommend and will be back. Thank you!

We won't go anywhere else to have our vehicles taken care of. Steve came highly recommended to us and needless to say, him and his staff are the best we have ever dealt with. He is thoroughly honest and explains everything in detail, so we know all the answers. Steve always goes above and beyond other car mechanics we have ever dealt with. You won't be disappointed with his work.

I went in a skeptic and came out believing wholeheartedly in this place. The owner explained everything and gave me peace of mind after our car had a major issue. I felt like he cared that I walked out trusting that it would be ok and I never felt talked down to (which has been my experience in the past because I know nothing about cars). I m really thankful we found S & S, especially because we are used car people. He s honest and knowledgeable with the ability to explain things in clear ways. Highly recommend

Steve has been my family's mechanic for over 15 years. I have yet to find another mechanic who even comes close to the level of service that Steve provides. I recommend him to anyone living in the area. I highly recommend S & S Auto. The location is convenient, online appointments make scheduling easy and quick. I trust them. I agree with others here. Steve is a fantastic guy, always taking care of my vehicles with the least cost. I thought I needed a new transmission, expecting an over $1000 repair, and he charged me $75 to flush the coke out of the gearshift from a prior owner.You cannot find a better, more trustworthy mechanic in Chanhassen or anywhere else!

Have had great service for over 3 years. I use Steve for both minor and severe issues, he knows his cars and has been flexible to meet my schedule. It's very easy to leave a car there knowing he'll get you answers. He went the extra mile to give me the needed info to summit an issue with the manufacturer which led to quick repairs under an ambiguous warranty.

Honest but overpriced. Also, if they lift your vehicle they'll charge 1/2 hour labor. Even the dreaded and infamous Tires Plus offers used vehicle inspections for $25 which is a lot more detailed report for half the cost.
