We are very pleased with the service provided by LaMettry s in Chanhassen. The entire team was amazing, from the 2 woman that worked the front desk (sorry, didn t catch their names) to the folks who worked on the car. Also, my customer service rep Larry was awesome. He provided a detailed description of the work that was done along with costs, and gave me updates on the status of my repairs throughout the process so I always knew where things stood. My car looks amazing. We are very happy customers and would highly recommend LaMettry s to anyone who needs auto work done.

I had an awesome experience at this shop! Unfortunately my car ended up being totaled out but they did a great job coordinating everything with me and the insurance company for my total loss claim. Pics are from after they disassembled to do the most accurate estimate. Chad Swanson especially went way above and beyond working with me to ensure I got all my personal items out and everything I needed to get the best value out of my vehicle from the insurance company. When people say there is no customer service they have not worked with LaMettry s. From my contact with Mike,LaMettry s rep at BMW Minnetonka,to picking up my car yesterday all of the LaMettry s staff have been outstanding. Nickole, my LaMettry s rep, worked to get my car restored to its original condition. This required ordering what Farmers requested for repair. Twice the used parts came. First one had rust and second one did not meet LaMettry s standards. Nichole worked to get new parts for my repair. The stress one experiences trying to work with an insurance company was all handled by LaMettry. Shout to front desk staff for stress free drop off and pick up and being fun on top of it. I would highly recommend LaMetrry s.

I would not recommend this place. Lacking attention to details.Vehicle was in their possession for 2 month due to supplies which I understand the delays it can create. There were paint chips when windshield was replaced. Their solution was touch-up paint. Could of caught it earlier and paint it while the vehicle was being painted.They missed headliner damage by the windshield. They tried to repair it, but concluded that it needed a new headliner.They also missed the most obvious window tint. Driver window was tinted, passenger side was replaced, but I guess they didn't see the driver window was much darker.Brought the vehicle back to touch up the paint by the windshield, headliner repair, and tint. Rental vehicle was on their dime since the missed it. Upon picking up the vehicle, they didn't think anything was wrong with the paint and headliner was not repairable. They had to order a headliner and communication went silent for weeks.Reached out to get the headliner replaced and sounds like it was just sitting at the shop. Had to pay for my own rental car for a job that should of been don't the first time.Now one of the dome light don't work. Did some troubleshooting and looks like they forgot to plug it in.After several trips to this shop, I'm very frustrated and can't trust the work will be performed correctly. Very disappointed in the work. I will not recommend this shop.

Jim and his dedicated team of specialists were absolutely outstanding. I brought my BMW M5 in for a quick rocker panel fix and he addressed every single concern I had and more. Updates were sent every other day to my phone, and the car was completed in a timely yet detail-focused manner. The production manager at this location was also very on top of things regarding this job. The care from the senior BMW technician was top notch and the car was returned to me looking better than ever!

My 3 rating reflects a 1 for service and a 5 for the quality of work repairing extensive hail damage. Service gets a 1 for simply overpromising and under delivering ever step of the way:(1) The completed work was nearly 2 months beyond the original promise date. Most of the blame was placed on my insurance company (Am Fam) but after speaking with my adjuster multiple times, it became clear to me, they overbooked themselves.(2) The above delay required me to book an extended rental car agreement, which Steven and his GM promised they would pay (given the extended, extended delay) but they never did. I asked 3 times for payment, that s enough.(3) When I first brought in my car for an estimate,they graciously agreed to touch up some non hail damaged spots/scratches as a courtesy, which was never done, despite the extensive amount of time they had my vehicle.Net-net, I ve had much better experiences at another Lamettry s location in the past, and while the workmanship is quality at Chan, their service is far behind.

Lamettry s answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns I may have had early on. Great communication throughout the process! All of the staff was very friendly and at no time did I feel as though I was anything other than their number one customer. The repairs were top notch and when they were done the car looked brand new!

Customer Service is not judged when things go perfect as planned. Customer Service is how you handle things when there is a minor bump in the road. Alan and Larry were both great with controlling the controllable and helping me out when Supply Chain was a bit delayed (uncontrollable). They handled the situation perfect! Thank you! The car came back looking brand new and untouched!

Talk about amazing. Not only did they do a fantastic job a few years ago on an SUV of mine but they were the least expensive.But here's the really above-and-beyond stuff: Stephen looked at my kid's busted out lower bumper light and instead of estimating, figuring out an appointment, getting parts etc, he had it fixed for free. Given, it's not a permanent solution but it looks great and might last for years. It took them 20 minutes and the car was done. THIS IS HOW you get life-long customers.Thank you LaMettry's! I knew you were great, today I was reminded exactly why.

From the kind, empathetic receptionists (most of us have been in an accident with our trusted cars), to the adjusters and mechanics, they are helpful, explain the basics, and expedient in getting your car seen and blueprinted for your insurance company to reimburse you. Plus, they offer a Lyft ride and a reputable tow truck driver Matt that they use (and he was fast and knowledgeable as well).

We had a Tesla Model 3 that got rear ended, the process with LaMettrys was flawless, loved the text updates every Monday, also they took care of the Tesla Battery keeping it charged throughout the process. EcoRoofing is really thankful.

LaMettry's did an excellent job of replacing the bumper on my car.My only complaint is that Larry did a very poor job getting back to me on the status of the repair and also letting me know that it was done. I had to keep calling.

Great business! From the front desk throughout. My car was totaled but Larry kept me updated throughout the process. He took the time to call every 2-3 days. My insurance company is extremely hard to deal with and they navigated that process with me. Larry went above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

Very professional operation. Great people and highest quality work. Expensive compared to others, but worth it. Location in chanhassen is awesome if you live out this way. None of the traffic of others. A little less busy, too. Appointment required for estimates, but was in and out in 15 minutes.

Terrible service at this location. Communication has been subpar at best, they've had our vehicle for 30 days and now there's no rental coverage. After speaking with our service rep, they had to wait 16 days for parts. However, there is no mention of why it took so long for the repair after they received the parts. No support or help with additional rental coverage due to it being delayed. I've had service at the Eden Prairie location and never had this kind of issue with communication or timelines.**UPDATE**Alan the general manager called and went over the situation, he was very empathetic and listened. He did everything possible to address the situation. Updating review to reflect him taking the time to make it right.

LaMettry s collision is absolutely fabulous! Somebody works with you through the entire process. During the time that my car was being fixed, someone called me almost daily to update me on what was being done and what the final cost would be. I would recommend them to anybody.
