Steve and Matt are great people to work with. I almost always buy my tires here. I have also had repairs done here and have never been disappointed. In line with other places for tires. Would recommend over others.

So last month I stopped here. My icon showed a tire was low. The guy said did you buy your tires here, I said no. He said do you want free air, I said I guess so. He said where did I get my tires and I said Absolute Auto in Princeton. He said do they have free air. I said yes but I m here now. Just a young guy with an attitude. With that he won t get far in life!

I had a 8:30am appointment for a wheel alignment. I brought my car in at 8:20am, dropped of the car to give them plenty of time and gave them my phone number so that they can call me when it was all done. By 3pm (6 1/2 hours later), I have not yet received a phone call, I thought maybe they just forgot to give me a call, and I needed my car back. When I got there, they had not gotten to my car yet. It was still sitting there where I left it. So I asked for my keys back and left with my car. WHY set an appointment if they are not going to keep to it??? Very frustrating.

Vising Cambridge, our old Hundai hit a pothole & broke a strut. They did a great job researching parts from Minneapolis and getting them the next day. Service was well done & fairly priced. Steve(?) behind the counter can best be described as a zen master. His demeanor excudes calming integrity.

I got a wheel alignment and some new tires the other month. From calling to make the appointment through picking up my car I had exceptional customer service. My car is driving smooth. They have affordable pricing. Definitely recommend!!

Picked up a car after an alignment and has a severe pull to oncoming traffic and the steering wheel is not straight. Was told that it is a tire issue and to take it up with the place that sold the tires to us. Didn't tell us before we drove off the lot. Alignment 101, if the car has a severe pull to oncoming traffic you don't let the customer drive off with the vehicle without telling them. At least tell them you couldn't perform the alignment with the way the tires are, even if you still charge them for putting it up on the rack.

Took our truck in for a front end alignment I really don't think they even did it. no receipt no explanation of work that was done and I have to take it somewhere else to have it done correctly. I would not recommend them for an alignment.

Always have a great experience here! They are very competitive in pricing, while also knowing what they are doing. Go above and beyond every time I am there. Will never use another tire shop.

I had a nail in my tire with a slow leak and Steve's tire was able to get me in the next morning to fix it. They did a wonderful job. I am thankful that they open at 7am considering I work 9-5 during the week, and wouldn't have time to make it in after work. They were able to get me in at 7am, and I was out the door with a fixed tire and had enough time to commute to work! I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

This family owned business is like a family to us Steve is wonderful person and all his workers are great fast and to the point . they are very nice and get you in right away or schedule around to work with you . Steve and his team handle so much and always going . they may look to full at times but NO MATTER WHAT they'get you in they move and work fast rotate tires and vehicles in and out they keep the circulation moving and hassle free . VERY HONEST with your prices and work that needs to be done . they will not tell you bunch of stuff just to make money off of you . they actually listen to whats wrong give you honest advice and price and get your vehicle safely back out and going for you . stop in . drop in . walk in. Or drop off . either way they find a way to solve your issues .Only'problem' is not many people stop for our mechanics and safety ...to let them wheel your tires through they work hard and fast ..So if you see these great mechanics walking across the old down town family owned streets that has amazing history ...Please feel generous to stop for them to cross at times ..So we can keep them going we need them for our safety , so lets stop for their safety...STEVE YOUR AMAZING AND ALL YOUR WORKERSI WOULD GIVE 100 GOLDEN STARS TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM AND ALL THE YEARS YOU KEPT THIS BUSINESS GOING FOR OUR FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ...GREAT WORK GUYS YOUR ALL AWESOME AND AMAZING !!!

Steve is very professional and pleasant to work with. He installed a new tire as soon as he could and his tire warranty will reimburse me to replace that tire if I need to, since I live quite far out of town and would most likely need to replace my tire elsewhere. I would visit him for all my tire needs again, if I wasn't 70 miles away. His prices are very competitive and cost $20-$30 less than where I usually get my tires serviced. I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone who lives in the area. Thank you to Steve and his team for helping me and for providing such great service while I was stranded!

I got a flat tire today on my way home from a vacation. Feeling frustrated and annoyed about my flat tire, the shop was very understanding of my situation. They had me in and out the door within 1.5 hrs for all new tires. I could tell they were busy but they pushed work for me so I could continue home. Very thankful for the interaction with them today. Fantastic service that doesn't break the bank! 1000 percent would recommend buying your tires here.

I needed a tire fixed. They had a busy day.I didn't have an appointment but they said I should drop it off and they would fit it in. Screw wasn't all the way threw $10 for labor. Thank you so much Steve's tire. I will be back for tires later.We had to stop in for a work truck battery. Yes they had one. We got it done in parking lot. Great place to go. Highly recommend this place.

Best auto shop in Cambridge. I had my car at another local mechanic for three weeks and they couldn't find the problem with my car. They said they called in another mechanic from out of town to come and look at it. When I finally got my car back without answers I took my car to Steve's to get a second opinion. He had a diagnosis for me the next day. Twice in the last 6 months my husbands car has had tire problems. Steve says no problem and has us back on the road next day. He even let my husband call in a payment after picking up his car when he forgot his wallet at home. This place does excellent work at a fair price with top notch customer service. Thank you so much. I can not say enough good things about this mechanic and it is a relief knowing we have someone we can trust with our cars in an emergency. Highly reccomend this mechanic!

You can't beat the personalized service. Steve himself is there to expedite the service and does a very nice job. He took extra care when doing the tires on an old '69 GMC my son is restoring.

And again Steve's Tire did not disappoint! Came in early for much needed tires without notice or appointment. Took me in got it done and even took care of two trailer tires I brought in hoping to get replaced.Highly value, high class, high urgency! If you want to help small businesses in your local community, Steve's Tire is one of these businesses. 90% of the time I've gone to drop off my vehicles, Steve himself is behind the counter answering calls, taking appointments and talking to customers. He tells you like it is, no beating around the bush. A great guy as he keeps it professional and honest. If there's a question, he answers it to the best of his knowledge. Matt and the rest of the crew get the job done. My tires come from Steve's Tires and I will not go anywhere else.

Steve has always been my go-to guy for myself and my extended family. We use his shop religiously. Hes always got fair pricing, and his turn around time is fenominal. If you're looking for a trusted shop, these are the guys to go to. His entire team is very experienced. No wonder hes always booked up. 10/10 highly recommend.

[Edit] I called Matt at Steve's Tire on 1/14 and asked if they had another pair of tires in stock and if they weren't busy and could handle it. I told them I could leave it with them for the day because I was assured they could handle it today.My car is now stuck in their possession over the weekend, they closed and gave no call or heads up that the car would be stuck in their possession for 3 days and that the tires weren't touched.I'm honestly very disappointed that this little tire shop run by some good mechanics is run like a poor gas station and it seems the problem both times is that Steve takes on too much work and they can't properly gauge their work or timelines.-----------------------------------------------------I came to Steve's Tire to get two tires swapped on my suv, needed them today, they were in stock and able to do it but they costed quite a bit more than expected. Also took way longer than expected and couldn't give me an estimation.The paperwork is sloppy and there employees just wander around and back and forth and keep saying "I should probably get back at it, he's just waiting here."Not too impressed but glad they had the tires in stock, I will have installed elsewhere though.
