If you are looking for a place that will be honest with you, you should go here. I had never went here before but the mechanic that I used for years closed. According to the check engine code, everything I found online said the fix would be over $1000. I bought my car in and it actually ended up being something else that caused the car to show the code it was showing. They could have said they fixed something they didn't and charged me over $1000. Instead the fix was under $100. Cambridge automotive is definitely where I will bring my vehicles when i have an issue with them.

Honest, reliable, and affordable!They provide options when they can instead of guiding you to the most expensive repair. I'm so glad we started bringing our vehicles there, won't go anywhere else!

Our car broke down in town on a Friday afternoon. Cambridge Automotive was still open, so we limped the car there. They were friendly, professional, reasinably priced, and had the car up and running again by the end of the next business day (Monday). I would recommend them to anyone in need of car repair in Cambridge.

FANTASTIC!!! They where able to fit me in extremely last minute. My cars alternator went out this morning, got my car in a little after noon and just picked it up at about 4pm. Super fast great quality work, friendly group and even worked with my cars warranty!!! I HIGHLY recommend!!!

I can say that, without a doubt, Steve is one of the most upstanding mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of having serviced my vehicle! Great prices and mechanics. Steve the owner is a very honest mechanic and if he doesn t know what s going on he will tell you. Don t trust the dealerships in town they will screw you over completely. Steve is Honest and fair prices.

I've gone to Cambridge Automotive for around 20 years. Steve is the best mechanic and gives such great deals you can't find better Mechanic or person . All of his staff are friendly and welcoming!

$150 for brake changes, probably normal these days. You get in in quick, but trade-off is that diagnosing/fixing deeper problems isn't their thing/strength. Better off waiting to get into another shop with more understanding in those cases.

My favorite. I've had most of my repairs done here at the shop, I have no complaints. Services are done in a timely manor and service costs are fair. I recommend Cambridge Automotive Repair for a professional, excellent experience.

Great work! I was happy to be able to get my car in quickly when I started hearing road noise. Steve runs a great garage. I would go here again and recommend to family and friends.

Came here once before (2019) and had quick easy service done, brought my Subaru in a month ago(2021) to have a drive ability issue fixed, never once got a call or update on when they were going to even look at the car. Was told three weeks in a row We ll look at it in a few days and they had not touched it when I came to tow it elsewhere. Most unprofessional experience I ve ever had with an automotive repair shop and I would never come here again.

I love these guys, they are so awesome and amazing at what they do! All our vehicles only go here to get worked on! From our 76 blazer to our 2010 fusion, never have had an issue with these guys...always fair and honest, and just down right GREAT people!! I appreciate you gentlemen, thank you and if anyone needs auto work done pick these guys!!!

I was having a minor issue with my vehicle, so I gave them a call and I talked with Steve. He said he could squeeze me in, in about 20 minutes to take a look at my car. I arrived about 10 minutes after we got off the phone and only waited about 5 mins and he was looking at my car. He told me what he thought, and what we could do . He took great care of my car and me. Highly recommend.

I had my car towed n dropped off with no appointment. They ordered the part n was able to put them on the same day they arrived at an extremely reasonable price! Was referred to me by my dad. Thanks Dad n thank you Cambridge Automotive

Not at all professional. I had the bearings replaced on the front wheels.when I picked up the car and drove it was making a rubbing/grinding noise coming from both wheels.When I brought it back to them steve the owner was si busy flirting with a girl customer that he ignored me. One of the mechanics finally helped, but complained the whole time. He said it was too hot to be working on cars. He also complained about the owner always flirting with girls and said that's ALL he does.The younger mechanic brought it to the owners attention that my driver side wheel was considerably hotter then the other 3 wheels. The owner wouldn't even come take a peek. He told the younger mechanic that it was the hot weather that's making my front driver side wheel feel so hot. At that point I told him that I'm going elsewhere and left because he wasn't interested in helping.I saw him flirting with a lady instead of helping an unhappy customer. Not good business ethics in my opinion.

Best place in town to get your vehicals fixed. Steve is as honest as they come. He cares about his customers and tells it like it is. No hidden cost, no stories. Just the facts. He goes that extra mile.

I've had my blow motor replaced and my electronic throttle body on 2 separate visits and they were really nice both times. They even tried to help me with a payment plan for the electronic throttle body but of course I wasn't approved because of my credit. They dont always call back right away but their prices are really fair and they have never charged me for diagnostics.

Brought my vehicle in for stalling and wobbliness. They couldn't figure it out. Brought it somewhere else and found out I had a loose wheel bearing, something wrong with my front axle, hoses leaking, and my idle fan motor needed to be replaced along with a bunch of other things that were wrong. I'd asked them to look for issues since I'd just bought it and they seemed to have missed a ton of things. They're great though if you already know what's wrong, and Steve is able to find good used tires most of the time for relatively cheap, but as far as diagnostics I'd suggest somewhere else.

Steve at Cambridge automotive is honest as the day is long. Honesty is a hard thing to find nowadays in the automotive industry and Steve is second to none. I've been going to Steve as long as he's been in Cambridge Minnesota, and Steve is always done me right and I can honestly say that anybody who would go to Cambridge automotive can expect an honest ,straightforward and a happy outcome.

I took my Pontiac Bonneville in and Steve was a big help and fixed I was leaking oil and my belt was about to break and fixed it and his rates were real good and we just bought a Tahoe and he looked it over and was onest with me about the shape of the Tahoe Steve is a real good guy to go to

These guys were very fast and responsive. They were able to figure out what was wrong with my car and explained to me how I would be able to fix it myself. I highly recommend checking them out for your car needs.

Would not and will not be returning my business to this shop. Kept my van for over a week and didn't even look at the work that needed to be done. The door on my van still will not shut, and when asked about it, they said I was 'shutting it too hard'. Well the door would actually have to SHUT first. The caliper is still acting up. Bad business....and now I'm left questioning if they did ANY of the work requested.
