OUTSTANDING!!!Every time, every visit!Walser Subaru in Burnsville has the best auto service department I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Great communication at vehicle intake all the way to getting back on the road. I especially like the real time video inspection from the technician, complete with narration. As someone who doesn't get under my cars anymore, this is a fantastic way to keep an eye on the things most drivers don't think about. And while the amenities in the lounge are awesome, the experts managing my car's maintenance are even more so.I won't take my Subaru anywhere else.

We had a 9:45 appointment for a recall and a new key fob for my Subaru as my vehicle not from here only came with one. We were told it could take over 3 hours. The recall and key were done in less than 2 and we were on our way home. The complimentary car wash made my Subaru look like new!The service was extremely great!Nancy

I brought my car in to have my power steering fluid changed. Instead of doing that they charged me $100 for a multi point inspection that I hadn t quite expected. They proceeded to tell me I needed $4000 dollars worth of repairs and never actually did what I asked them to do in the first place. They did top off the power steering fluid. The fluid level remains unchanged after a couple weeks of driving. I m aware that there is a little seepage from reservoir seam and possibly a hose but certainly not enough to warrant $4000 on a car with 236000 miles. I would have preferred just having done what I asked to be done.

My first visit to Walser Subaru Burnsville for service went well. The service advisor JP was great. He was very thorough going through what was planned for my appointment and going through the results afterward. One part of their process worth noting is the tech videos the inspection. Not that a video eliminates all potential for tomfoolery by a vehicle service establishment but the increased level of transparency is appreciated nonetheless. This appointment was for my vehicle's first oil change, so I will update my review as I get more data points and the service level gets more complex, but my initial impression is positive. It also doesn't hurt that they are stocked with granola bars in the waiting area (Subaru owner joke); well played Walser.

Was informed nothing would be done till my car insurance gave ok, but oil change was done(I wasn't sure if I even needed one and by the time I drove the 1 hour home to Mankato it had already been done). I WAS NOT told that the remote start that was added to my vehicle would turn off EVERY time you open the door(locked or not).... I may have not bought that if I had known. LASTLY, I had a small dent in my from drivers side panel of my car and was not able to latch the clip due to this. Well, when I received the car from the repairs done and remote start added, the entire panel from before my tire to the front head lights was "popped out". When I called into Walser and spoke to a manager( a male, not sure of his name), he stated that your car wash can do that if the clips of the panel were broken. This was not the case UNTIL I HAD MY CAR FIXED AT WALSER AND "WASHED". Now, the piece is broken and when I asked a neighoring auto body shop to see how much to get the dent bumped out, they stated would be 1600 since the WHOLE FRONT PANEL has to be replaced due to the clip being broken..... Do you see my frustration?

JP and the auto technician were very helpful and thorough. The video gives the Outback owner a special sense of satisfaction the auto is in good hands when you trust it to Walser Subaru ... Ron F.

They were so informative during my visit. They showed me exactly what I needed, with proof from a video. They also let me know what could wait so it didn t cost me a lot all at once. I really appreciated that.

I had the oil changed and the tires rotated on my 2023 Outback. The work was done promptly and was free because I bought the car at Walser Subaru Burnsville and 2 free service visits came with it.

The good: oil and filter changed. Coffee and cookies good. The bad: 5 tire rotation done incorrectly. Scheduled an appt to have corrected. TPMS needed re programming after being told all was good to go. Had to return to dealer. Told them to skip cabin air filter and i had taped glovebox shut with note - tape was taken off and video report told me filter was checked and okay. Got a quote for oem trailer hitch - $2440.00+, seriosly?

My dealings with Walser Subaru have been fine for the past 4 + yrs. There has been a problem with Subaru batteries that has cropped up on both my 2020 Outback, 2023 Outback, and 2015 Forester. Both of these problems were fixed eventually, but not without a certain amount of hardship. Trying to jumpstart a vechcle at -5 is no fun. Having two cars towed 30 miles to replace batteries is not fun. Replacing the battery from your own pocketbook is costly. Subaru and Walser need to own up to the fact that their batteries are not powerful enough in Northern states. One salesperson (?) mechanic (?) had the termerity to tell my wife she had to start and run the car everyday to keep the battery going. Really? And what if you fly off to visit your grandkids for a week and leave the car in an unheated garage.

My 2021 Subaru had an oil leak. I took it to 7 mechanics who all told me something was wrong with the engine that it needed immediate inspection at the dealer.I had it towed to Walser Subaru in Burnsville and they got right to work. Within 24 hours I had a video from the mechanic working on my vehicle showing me what issues were occurring.Throughout the entire process the team at Walser called and communicated where they were in the process. When parts were delayed they were upfront and gave me a plan and made sure I knew what to expect at each step.I can t thank them enough, especially Kevin who went above and beyond.

My car needed emergency service and they got me in and completed the repairs very quickly. The service attendant was excellent and waiting room facilities were also top notch. They communicated regarding progress, timing, and repair cost several times throughout the appointment, and when finished, they did certain repairs on my 9-year-old car free of charge, which was even better.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection

Switched from Apple Valley Ford because of service to Walser Subaru Burnsville, well now back to find a different car dealer, will purchase a car somewhere else. First it was make a 2 week appointment for a simple oil change now 2 to 2 1/2 hours. There wasn't very many people waiting when I was at Walser Subraru for a long wait time so went to ProTech in Apple Valley, 1 hour wait.

Kind but disorganized process for repair. Had a part that needed to be sent for my car and never heard back from the service representative when it arrived.

Just had a question while traveling on the road and was told I could only talk to one service representative and he wasn't in.

Only reason they get 2 and not 1 was because the person I talked to was very patient with me when I lost my patience.$1k to just pull the engine and tell me it will cost $9k for repairs on a car I purchased for $12k.I'm literally having someone replace the engine for me for less than half. That also includes an engine with fewer miles and cheaper first than what what they offered.Just a reminder dealerships will over charge.
