I could not be happier with my experience with StraightLine Customs. I became the owner of this 1969 Camaro in 1983 when I turned 16. It was a mess at that point, but I loved the car. Over the years, changes were made, but always incrementally as time and budget allowed. In 2015, I decided it was time to make the car of my dreams. I researched parts, concepts, tools and cost and jumped in. After about three years, I knew that as I got closer to needing paint and bodywork, something I wanted to be perfect, that I would have to start doing more research. I found that one of the best ways to find a great shop is to look for the result you want and ask the owner who did the work. In my area, StraightLine Customs was the shop that stood out. I reached out to SLC and found that they were more than willing to partner with me, letting me do what I enjoy, and applying their expertise on the items where I lack skill and patience. Their skills go way beyond what I had them do on the car and they committed to making me successful by understanding my full plan, offering guidance, working on schedules, and being flexible. Dan and his team are very accurate in their assessment and quotations in doing the work needed (in my case a problem with a leaky rear main seal) They found a few other problems while working on my 67 Chevelle that they informed me about and quickly fixed. As I looked around in their shop, I quickly realized just how good these guys are in the restoration business. I have dealt with a few places similar to Straight line in the past and I can attest to Straight lines highly professional communications and work efforts. I plan to use them again, should I need work on my prized chevy.

I was looking for a Chevrolet 12 bolt rear differential and was offered one that came out of a correct model Chevrolet. Being he was a car restoration business I thought nothing of it and went down and picked it up. Brought it home and to my surprise it turns out it was a OLDS BOP diff and not what he had said.Mistakes1. My first mistake was not doing my homework and checking casting numbers and such.2. My second mistake was taking him at his word just because he was in the car restoration business.3. Not sure if he did it on purpose or if he was oblivious to the fact it was not a chevrolet diff. Either way due to being misled or just pure incompetence I will not go here.I take my fair share of the blame since I should have checked numbers.Email from DanI have a complete 65 chevelle 12 bolt out of a ss. I haven't seen a single vehicle in their shop that didn't come out looking amazing. I've done airbrush work on a couple of vehicles there and I am just blown away every time I see one of their finished products. Their quality far exceeds my expectations.

Had an extensive amount of work done on my 68 olds and could not be more pleased with the quality of work and the customer service before during and after the work was completed! They were always there to answer questions and help me with ANY issues! Never using anyone else.
