Top notch pros here. Had a Class 3 hitch installed with a 2 inch reciever. The equipment was rock solid, bolting directly to the frame. Having never seen my Sprinter on a lift, they allowed me to take a close look under my van. Allowing me to examine the hitch set up gave me superior confidence as to the hitch strength. Mercedes parts are expensive, but this was worth the cost for the quality. They even answered a few other related suspension questions just because they are kind.I will be referring all my van friends here.

Great service here! They were able to get a part in for me, set up an appointment that worked with my schedule and had it done within an hour and a half. The shop even has a nice waiting area with comfortable chairs and wifi, so you can bring work to do. Lance was super helpful and the mechanics were super informative! Can t recommend this local shop enough!

Great service, great work, easy to work with and it was done when they said it was going to be done! They even went the extra mile to take care of a couple other items that they could have sent me elsewhere to do! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Burnsville Trailer Hitch is a consumer centric organization, with a focus on excellent service and meeting the customer's needs. When I thought I needed to reschedule my appointment due to a late afternoon conflict that arose, Lance managed the schedule so that our vehicle could be completed and picked up by midday. Lance and team are experts and know the best components needed for any vehicle. And again Lance was very helpful and informative on how best to utilize and 'operate' the hitch and wiring harness that they had installed. Highly recommend doing business with Burnsville Trailer Hitch!

Had a great experience here. Lance at the front desk was very friendly and easy to talk to and the Eric the guy that worked on our wiring was great, he explained what he did and had us back up our camper to show that everything was working working properly.Would highly recommend Burnsville trailer hitch.

Great service! We were trying to leave town with a rental trailer when we learned that our hitch electrical system was on the fritz so the lights didn t work and they would not release the trailer to us. Lance got us in that afternoon and in less than an hour everything was fixed (for a reasonable price) and we were able to hit the road. Every other place we called said they were a week out for appointments which would have completely derailed our plans. So grateful for Burnsville Trailer Hitch!

Lance and the entire team were fantastic!!!!! With short notice and in less than 90 minutes they acquired the parts and installed a needed wiring harness. Great service. Very friendly also. Highly recommend them.

Stopped in looking for a specific sized boltto fit a receiver on our car. They were very helpful and they not only found me the bolt but gave me four with washers, on the house! Great service! Highly recommend.

I recently used Burnsville Trailer Hitch to put a new hitch on.They were able to work around my schedule, get me in quickly and had me in and out in 2 hours.The waiting area was very well decorated and comfortable. The staff was very client forward and great to chat with!

We called the week before July 4th. They were very busy, but we told them we were going on a long road trip and were leaving in a few days. Despite it being one of their busiest weeks, they suggested we drop off the trailer, and they would fit it in when they had time. Not only did they fix our weight distribution problem perfectly, but they also went out of their way to make it happen before we needed to leave. It's incredible what a difference the drive is now that the weight distribution on the hitch was set properly. Thank you so much! Our camper experience has never been smoother.

I installed my trailer hitch 90% of the way before I realized the last bolt needed tools I didn't have. I had scheduled to pick up a trailer later in the day and Burnsville Trailer Hitch had availability that day so I brought in my minivan with everything it needed to be fully installed and tightened. They plugged in the hitch lights for me and installed the final bolt - it took less than an hour! Awesome! Until we got the bill to check out- $439 for NO MATERIALS and less than an hour of labor. When we brought up that the price seemed steep (for reference - having a hitch fully installed at U-Haul is $177) we were told "that's just what we charge". I called and gave them the opportunity to help me understand how it could possibly cost that much. No further clarification was given. My sister then called to get an estimate for the same vehicle and was quoted $325. A different amount....and still over double what anywhere else charges for this service. So - the quality of work was fine but GET A QUOTE UPFRONT or you will likely be billed an insane amount. I am happy to pay for a job well done but we walked away from this feeling completely scammed.

Update: After speaking with the operations manager again about my feelings and concerns, he offered to refund the extra $135 that was charged. He also stated they would be more transparent with charges and provide better communication with clients about what was to be included in the charge. I accepted this refund and am happy with this outcome.This was my 2nd time using Burnsville Trailer Hitch. The first time they installed the hitch with a 4 pin wiring and everything went well. This time not so much. I called and set up an appointment to have my 4 pin changed to a 7 pin for a camper I'm buying. I was quoted $195 and appt was set. The 7 pin was placed today. After I got home I noticed 3 wires hanging down by the hitch and called them. They said to bring it back, they should not be hanging down, apologized and said they would fix it. I came right back and a technician came out and zipped tied them up. I asked him why 3 wires were hanging down, only 2 should be. He said they were for the brakes, ground and battery charger. I needed the battery charger since it's for a camper and didn't understand why that wasn't done. I went inside and talked to the operations manager and was told they didn't do it, assuming I didn't need it. I assumed they did know and stated so. He said they would hook up the battery charger and that would cost another $195, but would only charge me $175. What? He explained they charge $195 for just installing the 7 pin, and another $195 to hook up the battery. I was stunned and asked why it cost so much, he stated labor. He finally said they would do it for another $135. I feel they are way overcharging and should have done it to begin with for the price they quoted me on the phone. I checked with 2 other Hitch companies, 1 quoted $250 and the other $150 for doing everything, including the battery hook up. If I had been quoted almost $400 to begin with I would have looked elsewhere. I feel taken. I recommend checking other businesses first.

I've used Burnsville Trailer Hitch twice now -- once for a e-bike rack and hitch and most recently for a baseplate and all the equipment to flat tow a vehicle behind an RV. They are experts in their field, have great customer service, and are just pleasant to deal with. I'll definitely be using them for all my hitch and towing needs!

Had my trailer brought in for a wiring issue guys there were extremely rude they aren t on the same page. One guy quote me one price and other quoted me more. Anyways I got the wiring fixed just to find out they had damaged my wrap on the trailer. Brought it back to them so they can see the damages and the guys were extremely disrespectful no remorse they claim they weren t going to do dump more money into the trailer. Small claims here we come !

Asked for installation bolts for a hitch I owned. They offered them for $18 then a second employee said it would be $50. Bought them after giving them the hitch part number and the vehicle model. They were the wrong size. The paperwork they provided with the bolts stated the correct size. Forced to go back and return them. Not helpful. Avoid this shop.

Just got a new 23' pacificia, took it to Burnsville Hitch, had a great experience. Friendly knowledgeable folks that got it done for me.I 'd recommend them to do your hitch. I think that they could any car .Only took 2 hours.

After getting stood up by uhaul twice I thought I d have better luck going with the local shop, despite it being more than twice as expensive. Unfortunately my experience here was worse.I showed up when I was told to (during their business hours) and no one was there. When I politely asked for my $200 deposit back the guy on the phone became angry and hung up on me multiple times. Ultimately they left me hanging and then kept my money.It looks like other reviewers here have had similar experiences. I don t make a habit of leaving poor reviews, especially for a local business, but in this instance I encourage you to heed these warnings.

My dad was in today to ask you guys to attach a hitch since I didn't have the bolts for my hitch. Initially the guy at the desk said it would cost about $20 for the set of bolts. Then a different guy behind counter said it would take them time to figure out which bolts were need, so they would charge $50 instead of the originally quoted $20. They also want to install MY hitch for $295, something that will take less than 20 minutes with no expertise and simple tightening of bolts. Some places pride themselves on serving the customer, Burnsville Trailer Hitch simply serves up the customer to pad their own wallets. It's all about the money, customers are just the source.

Called them about 10am and they made time for me and my 79 Dodge. Had full wiring and class 4 hitch installed. Their crew was amazing and knowledgeable. I am more than happy to pay for the peace of mind in knowing the job was done right the first time. And that they proudly stand behind their work. I will be sending anyone who has similar needs to them and that is something I rarely do. Great job guys.

Absolutely amazing business!! I needed wiring done for my car hitch (after U-haul goofed up my appointment time). I called in the morning and they said they had an opening later in afternoon. I got there a bit late due to a car accident on freeway, but they got my car in, put in the wiring, gave me a few tips to keep it working well and they did it all in under an hour. The cost was very reasonable and I am extremely happy with the service I received. If you want good workmanship and want to be treated like you're a preferred customer then have your work done here and you won't be dissatisfied.

Honestly one of the best experiences that I have had in a long time at a repair/retail business. The owner/manager was extremely helpful, just a genuinely nice person who was happy to help, and I wasn't pressured into buying anything that I didn't need. They have an offsite warehouse with what seems to be a sizeable and broad inventory, and they were able to pull what I needed within 30 minutes. He recommended a great lunch spot up the street and I was able to enjoy a great lunch while I waited for my parts. They also helped me inspect my current hitch/receiver and helped me in verifying its towing capacity so that I didn't go through the headache of getting an aftermarket option installed(since the hitch on my Ram is integrated into the bumper/bumper brackets. It wouldn't have been a cheap job to remove the old hitch and install what I thought I needed) Thanks again! Even if its a bit out of your way, give Burnsville Trailer Hitch a call, the service and attention you will receive will be worth the extra drive.

Very overpriced. I can t say anything about their service, but I needed a base plate installed on my Suburban to tow behind my Motorhome. I already have the base plate. For just installing the base plate with no wiring done, they wanted $2500. I thought that was a little outrageous. So I called around to other Blue Ox certified dealers and got some estimates. All 3 that I called, gave me estimates ranging between $475 - $800. That really got me upset with Burnsville Hitch. I just made an appointment with one of them to do the work, with all the wiring for the lights and also the brake buddy system that I have also installed. They are charging me $1,089 for all that work. Burnsville hitch is definitely ripping their customers off. I recommend that if you use them, to call around first and get other estimates and see for yourself.

They did an awesome job installing the hitch and braking system for my Lexus 2007 RX350. Frank was the installer / technician and he was very helpful in explaining options that I might consider with the braking system and how it would work and install on my car.I appreciate very much that he took the time to communicate so I would understand and could be informed - this was helpful when I went to take the system off for my next car.Great experience working with them - I think they take pride in good customer service and have integrity for their work.

BUYER BEWAREBurnsville Trailer Hitch Seriously Disappoints. They grossly fail when it comes to customer service.When they installed a new trailer hitch for my BMW 5-series sedan, they removed an accessory that was in use at the time. They had to remove it to install the trailer hitch.When I learned that this feature was no longer functional, they were quick to deflect and avoid accepting any responsibility.- The manager asked, Didn t you read the technical specs?- The manager suggested that I discover a workaround.- The owner (?) blamed me.Now, for an every weekend activity, it will cost me more money and take more time. To help accommodate, the owner (?) did agree to give me a special ball to help with the inconvenience. Despite several attempts to connect, he has not responded.Working with Burnsville Trailer Hitch was a disappointment. I have yet to use my newly installed trailer hitch, but based on their initial work, actions and behavior, I am worried.

I stopped in last week with a tail light issue that threatened to put my landscaping work truck out of service and talked to Eric. I expected to make an appointment and was not looking forward to having my truck down for service. Eric helped me out and since the front desk wasn't too busy, he offered to come out and take a look. An hour later and he had my problem completely solved and I was on my way.I'm totally impressed with the level of customer service. Its not that often that you can pull in and have your issue addressed immediately and I was left with a very positive impression. Thanks Eric! I will definitely be back and have already referred some of my other friends in the trades.
