Update: great service and staff. I had what I thought was a problem with my truck possibly caused by Valvoline but it wasn t. Brittney at Valvoline reached out to my wife right away with my concerns and told me to come in to have it looked at. I decided to go to a local mechanic and I just got my truck out of the shop and it wasn t related to Valvoline. It was fuel tank pressure sensor. I updated my review to 5 stars and I appreciate a business that cares.First off we go here for all of our families oil changes and I really like the experience. They are Fast, Nice and very professional all the time. I ve never had a problem until a little over a week ago I got home and my check engine light came on. It s never had this light come on since I owned it and it s weird it came on right after service. I saw puddle of fluid on my drive way I m not sure if that s anything but maybe when they changed the cabinet filter or oil something got it? I m looking to get it to a mechanics but all the shops are so swamped so now I have a vehicle I don t really want to drive.

Don t usually leave reviews, but I went in for an oil change/regular maintenance and they broke my radiator the way that Hunter and Brittney handled the situation was perfect. They accommodated for my situation, we re understanding and covered the cost of fixing the damage. Clear communication and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! Couple days without a car but it s clear that they did everything in their control to solve the problem.

I used the Buffalo, MN center. The guys were quick and the head guy took extra time to talk with me about my truck. He shared his experience and knowledge about the engine and certain issues to keep an eye out for. After my oil change I googled his information to double check if he was correct or just trying to talk me into service that wasn t that necessary. I verified in a mechanic and truck owner blog I use that he was right about his advice.He took the time to type up a quote in 2 minutes and gave me a reference of someone who might be cheaper. I called his reference and my regular mechanic who does work on the side to my surprise, valvoline was the same or cheaper than the other two. Great service and work fast. My only dig was the oil change was on the speedier side- but with then advice I got made it feel worth the extra dollars. I might not use them everytime but will definitely use them as a backup or if I m traveling and need my truck looked at while on the road

Good service. The lady that was working was definitely giving the service center manager an attitude and definitely made it seem like she didn't want to be there. The car next to me needed and VA (airfilter) that they didn't have on hand and when the SCM asked about it she very loudly and rudely told him "I'm going to get it". I also asked about coupons because 115$ for an oil change is a little high and was told by the SCM that he would find one for me....didn't happen. Bottom side tech seemed like he was really getting fed up with everyone, but I completely understand. It's 90 degrees, and the cars are hot, I felt his pain. I worked for Corp VIOC and regret wasting 4 years of my life working for people who tell you that " The process isn't broken, you are broken" Infamous words from kyle mcmahon and his lap dog neil. But the SCM that helped me was working with what he had the best way he could. I'd recommend this VIOC if your in a pinch and need to get your oil changed right away. 4 Outta 5

Everytime I go to vavoline they always pinch my washer fluid lines when replacing my air filter. I directly asked them to be careful as the last location we went to did it two times in a row. I'd give 5 stars for the work they did on my car but, I can't. I waited 3rd in line for at least an hour before it was my turn. It should only take 15 minutes for an oil change per car.

Excellent service. Can be spendy with full synthetic but it s an oil change in 10 minutes and you don t have to get out of your car! Way better location than Maple Grove Pkwy.

Typically I have a good experience there but the last time I went, a technician asked to add air. They added air to manufacturers specs on all tires but 1. Theu said they added a little too much air but that it would be fine. My jeep was driving a little different and when I checked the tires, the 1 tire was 9 pounds over manufacturers specs. Other than that 1 incident, they have usually been very friendly and quick to service.

Last time I went I had two teenage looking boys work on my car (usual oil change). When I left I noticed I had 3 dashboard lights on (check engine, 4WD and one other) along with my cruise control not working. These lights were not on and the cruise worked prior to getting an oil change. Won t be returning as now I need to take it to a mechanic and get it all fixed which I m sure will be a lot of money. Very disappointed.Changing my review from 1 star to 4. Went back to this location as the district manager had reached out and wanted to fix their mistake. And they did just that. Not giving a full 5 as this shouldn t have happened in the first place but really do appreciate them fixing everything!!

I hadn't ever been to a rapid oil change before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff was courteous, professional, and I was impressed by how efficient they were! Five stars is absolutely deserved. We will certainly be returning to the Buffalo location! Thanks for the great service!

They are so awesome here!! I even had a question about the oil % message on my car the next day, and I called and they told me to come back in and they would figure it out for me. And that's exactly what they did! And they were super friendly to me and to my dog!!

There was a fairly long wait but that was expected and I didn t mind. The guys were extremely friendly and professional, they explained everything and it went very smoothly. (I had a synthetic oil change) I will definitely be back. Thank you, guys.

Since when does an oil change cost $140? They don t advertise their prices anywhere and take the oil out of your vehicle before they tell u the price. Not very happy after having my vehicle serviced there.

I can not even begin to describe how unhappy I am with this place. Last year, I brought in my 2006 VW Passat for a simple oil change. My car never ever ran right after that and I had never had a single issue beforehand. I brought it back and they discovered that it hadn t been put back together properly from underneath. From that day on, even after fixing it, the oil pressure light was constantly coming on. I ended up selling it because I couldn t afford to have a real mechanic look at what was messed up.Fast forward to today. I was bringing in my 2000 PT Cruiser. Again, it s never had even one single issue. I go in for an oil change and some wiper blades. Not only is it more expensive for an oil change than it used to be, but they were pushing everything else on me too. Okay, I will buy the new air filter. Sure I will take the better blades... They tell me my coolant is low. And for the low low price of whatever the hell it was, they would top it off for me. Sure, I need coolant so throw it in there!I went to make a quick run this evening, less than 5 miles away, and now my car is sitting on the side of the highway because I couldn t drive it. IT WAS SMOKING AND OVERHEATING!!! So I had to sit on the side of the road with my 6 month old infant in the car, waiting for a ride because I couldn t drive it at all without it smoking.This is absolutely unacceptable and if you value your vehicles, I would never recommend going here. Two of my cars they have messed up.

I always use the Valvoline in Buffalo MN because of the convenience, price of services, and the professional attitude of the staff. They are helpful even with the small things like windshield wipers and notifying me with potentially bigger things like differential fluid. Great folks, they've earned my business.

Had a not so great experience here. They were having issues locating the oil filter, I had to go online and show them it's location on my phone. Then they didn't have the right size socket so they decided to call the nearby parts shop to send one over. Well then that got dropped off and then realized they needed a special filter which needed to be ordered from the shop so they called them back and had another over sent over. Finally after about an hour I was on my way, didn't even offer any discounts for the super long delay.

Over the summer of 2019 I brought my 2003 Silverado here for an oil change. Seemed like the guys did decent work and they were nice enough. Total was $35 for 6 quarts and a new filter. Now today, in January, we re here with our Acura TL. For a basic oil change, 4.5 quarts of 0-20 and a filter, they charged us $57 and some change....Needless to say I ll never go here again. The last oil change we had done on this car was $30 at the Pit Stop in Howard Lake. I ll stick to them for my oil changes when I don t have the drive to do them myself.

I went there for an oil change, a new light and a new wiper. They said they couldn t change the front light on my mini van because the whole front panel needs to be taken off to get to it, they said they didn t have any of the size wiper I need so all they were able to do was the oil and I am stuck going to the dealership anyway save yourself the time and just go right to the dealership

The gentalman were very very polite! I knew I only needed a oil change and I told them that's all I wanted done! They mention what I could do to improve how my car runs but they were not extra pushy like a lot of places seem to be. I will be going by back to this Valvoline when I am in need of an oil change in that area!

Took advantage of my 70 year old mom. She went in for an oil change and was forced to by a battery when her car wouldn't start. The battery was drained because her lights were left on too long after the light test by accident. Who's fault that is, who knows. She felt terrible about the experience. I followed up and talked to the manager of the store and his boss about it, who manages 7 stores in the area. Both managers gave me conflicting stories about what happened. I went into the store to verify the battery was bad. I attached the result of the test the next day. When I called the higher up manager back to discuss what happened, instead of talking about what we can do to resolve the issue, he insisted on lecturing me about how batteries are recharged in vehicles by alternators and how even though the battery showed good on the battery tester doesn't mean it was a good battery. He kept on asking me what my credentials were and where I received automotive care training. He got upset and hung up on me. I was mostly listening because I couldn't even get a word in.In the end, rather than make her buy the battery at Valvoline, they should have given her other options. They wouldn't give her a jump start or suggest she call AAA. There was a chevy dealer 1 block away that she would have taken it to. When she requested her old battery she said they wouldn't give it to her. My advice, don't go there unless you know how to combat these situations. Shame on the people working there to take advantage of the elderly.
