Our car broke down while driving, so we called our insurance company to get it towed into our usual shop. West Brainerd Auto was who our insurance contracted to tow our vehicle. The tow company called us and also said they could bring it to their shop and have it looked right away on Monday (the car broke down on Saturday). We agreed for them to take it to their shop. Monday morning came, and they diagnosed the problem. We told them to go ahead and fix it. I was impressed at the fast turnaround time to get our car going again! It drives great again! They did a great job getting us back on with life after this hiccup at a great rate!

Took my car there to get a new brakes and rotors. Was told I needed tie rod ends and a control arm was quoted 2500 for work. Took it to Integrity and was told that the control arm was fine and that it was actually the sway bar that needed replaced so full brake job tie rod ends and sway bar only paid 699. West brainerd auto needs to do better

Got a flat outside of Baxter. Nick was very quick at picking me up and getting me back on the road within less than an hour after my initial phone call including bringing my work van to the shop and fixing the tire.The fees were very reasonable!This was also the first tow company I ve had show up faster than their eta and provide excellent service

Tow guy was very nice and picked me up minutes after I called. Mechanics are fast and were able to squeeze me in on short notice. Highly recommend!

Had West Brainerd Auto driver tow my vehicle to a shop in town, after having a retired mechanic from Mills looked at it & the codes read that it needed a Crank Shaft Sensor. I had already made arrangements with Integrity Auto repair to work on it. Before the tow truck driver drove it, it was driving fine other than having difficulties starting. Battery was fine too. Have the driver my keys & when it showed up too Integrity Auto, the shifter & shifter cable were broken. The Mills mechanic AND Integrity Auto mechanic said it can only do this if the tow truck driver messed up the shifter when loading it unloading it. Staff were very rude at West Brainerd Auto & wouldn't even allow the Mills mechanic to contact the owner Steve Stohl. I'd NEVER refer someone to their towing services.

If I could give it a zero I would. Called because I had a slow leak and the tow truck guy said to call back in the morning since it was a slow leak and I needed a patch. Called back in the morning. They were not going to be open! He then hung up on me! Blocked Don t use this company or the tow company unless you like to be stuck up north with no way to get home! Thanks for leaving me in a horrible situation and not helping at all.

I came down from Canada to visit my daughter and my brakes were giving me an issue. I called discount tire to ask for a referral and they referred me here. What a great choice as Nick helped me out and told me to bring car in right away. I brought it in at 3:45, he ordered the parts immediately and I had my car in top shape at 5:00 pm. Wow that was impressive and the price was more than fair to boot. Would recommend anyone to go there as I know I gave a card to my daughter so if she ever has problems, I know she will be looked after. Thank youService: Brakes

The guys at West Brainerd Auto service were wonderfully accommodating, very efficient, and very helpful. I am an older woman who had a tire that was quickly losing air. I called them and they said there was enough air to get me to their business and avoid having roadside assistance. Helped me right away. I am very satisfied and grateful!

Driver sat in the middle of the parking lot talking to someone and waved me off like he was too busy to pull his truck forward 1 foot to allow vehicles to pass.

We were from out of town and had a serious brake issue. The staff at Western B Auto were able to help us. Nick was professional and considerate. We sure appreciated his honest evaluation of the problem and the consultation of parts, labor and cost before proceeding with the repairs. Excellent service!

I can't even find the words to express my gratitude toward these guys. I'm not from here and I hit an animal which broke an exhaust joint. After looking for shops at random, i was directed here and with no appointment. They got it in, welded the joint, and out in 75 minutes while I ate lunch! The price....too good to be true. The whole team is awesome. Very good guys. They are truly honest and didn't even try to sell me anything i didn't need. Just fixed what i had wrong. The right way. You guys are the shiznit! Will come back for any future problems. Thanks!

Driver was very polite and I thought very kind, as I had a small dog with me and I was going to leave him in my van " but" Driver said he would feel better if he rode in his truck..nice guy......

I had my vehicle towed from Baxter down to St. Cloud the morning of July 3rd. The driver (didn't catch his name) was a very friendly guy and was able to get my AWD SUV loaded up without any issues and down to the dealership in time for my service appointment.They were a little bit less expensive than competitors in the area, and I will definitely use them again should I ever need the assistance.

We drove up from the cities and our alternator went out. Not a good start to our vacation. We called and they were there in 20 minutes. Fast very friendly and professional service. We had a traumatic experience with our vehicle breaking down many hours away from home with our young children. While we had AAA to take care of the cost of the tow, we still had more issues to deal with. Mike went above and beyond to not only get us where we needed to go, but to make our horrible experience a little better with his patience and kind heart.I would recommend this establishment to anyone. And a note to the owner, Mike deserves a raise. Thanks again, West Brainerd Auto!

Horrible customer service. They refuse to work with our insurance just so they can make us pay out of pocket. It takes too long for me to contact them (but it took me less than 5 min). First tow in January was $75. Tow in Sept was $125!!! Was told to calm down and if I don t like it to get a new insurance company. I have USAA which is a NATIONAL company and for service members!!! They got the car on Sunday and didn t even look at it until Wednesday. People have jobs and need to get to work!

My Aunt was visiting from Alaska and during a snow storm ended up in the ditch in her rental car near Garrison. Phone call to West Brainerd Auto and spoke with Tony. He immediately jumped into action. He located the car and took it to his shop. He even put it in the garage over night due to water taken on board from sitting in a water filled ditch. His excellent communication skills, respectful of our situation, and very, very pleasant to do business with. I am so impressed, I am considering adopting him!!! I got to work and got out and heard the dreaded hissing noise coming from my rear tire. Called AAA and they said West Brainerd Auto Service would be there in a half hour but Jake was there in 10 minutes. He took my tire off and brought it to the shop and repaired it. He was back in about 30 minutes and put my tire on. I went to hand my creditcard to pay $50 charge and he refused saying no charge. Someone who needs every penny this meant the world to me. Battery indicator light came on while in route to friend's cabin. Brought van in early Monday morning to Honda dealership who couldn't guarantee us getting in this week! Looked up repair services in brainerd and called up West Brainerd who were able to get us in at 11am. We drove out of their parking lot at 11:30! Very friendly, fast service at a competitive price. Lifetime warranty on the alternator too! Highly recommend this auto shop to out of town visitors.

One of the most rude and pompous service companies I have ever experienced in my 30 years as a AAA member. They basically refused to help me out with a flat tire because I was too far away and their time would ve better spent not helping us out

Had a low engine coolant light come on. I took it in to them, and they said it was a bad sensor and fixed it. Two weeks later the light came on again. Took it in again, and they said it was a leak they missed before a fixed it. Now, 4 days later, the light just came on again. I m am over $300 into a problem they have told me twice they fixed. They seem like nice people, but I can t figure if it s incompetence or if I m just being taken advantage of.
