Located in Blue Earth Minnesota, within sight of I-90. Our vacation was not at the hotel, but visiting family in Blue Earth. This is a well maintained, budget friendly motel to stay at. The owners and employees work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are, and the motel is, very clean. Our bed was so soft, a complete surprise, making it difficult to get up and enjoy our days. There is coffee in the lobby (24/7) and at their breakfast room in the mornings. You can have your breakfast at the hotel, or at the restaurant next door, that is within walking distance. A pizza hut, and coffee shop are across the road.This is a wonderful place to stop while traveling, we will be returning again when we visit family!

We had a great stay, the service was great! The front desk lady was great, very nice! The bed was super comfy! Breakfast was good!! The customer service was just great! Super satisfied!(The people that are saying the rooms are out dated, they kinda are but the hotel is a good price, people can't cry about it being out dated and then wonder why the hotel is so expensive)So for me it was a 10/10

Would recommend to anyone. Great customer service and clean rooms. Great with pets and service animals. Anyone who s in town for an event should choose Super 8.Safety: Good location nearby event centers

Could not have been a better experience. The staff the ownership was a brethren of fresh air. The rooms were comfortable clean and the breakfast was clean and more than enough options for what ever u were in the mood for. Couldn't have been more satisfying 10 stars in my opinion! Will definitely look forward to another stay!!!!Noteworthy details: Ownership and staff friendliness and willing to make the stay as pleasant as could be . My hats off to this very well run hotel !

This hotel is super outdated to the point when you walk down the hallways, you question the cleanliness of the room you are going to walk in to. We had an emergency and had to leave a day early. We asked to be refunded that night, but they insisted on charging us. Definitely would not stay here again as the owners have no consideration for others, only pocketing every possible dollar they can. Don't pre-book days or you will be out close to $100 like us.

The non smoking room smelled of old cigarettes and was musty, no breakfast was offered, shower curtain smelled musty, toilet was stained up. The service guy was a great guy. That was the only advantageNearby activities: The Green Giant statue is near by

Staff was not very helpful rude when asked questions about cash deposits. Room was reserved for 2 beds. When we got there tried to give us a room with 1 bed. We traveled with 4 people. How would that work? Room was not very clean had huge cobwebs on the bathroom door frame. Cracks at the base of the wall with black mold growing. We all woke up with sore throats stuffy noses and not feeling to well. Not to mention the the weird smell could not figure out what it was. If it was to cover the musty moldy smell or what. We will not be staying at this hotel ever again or recommending it to anybody.

The owner helped us make last minute reservations August 20 when our parents were in a very serious car accident near Blue Earth. We were traveling with our dog too. The owner was so kind, he accommodated us with the rooms we needed for ourselves, our mother after her hospital release & our dog. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Absolutely a 5 star place! Thank you

The room is clean. Most importantly, there was no hint of any odor when we walked into the room! That gives us the confidence that this is a well-kept hotel.The bed is a bit too soft for my personal taste. Otherwise, the bedding is comfortable.Both morning and evening staff were helpful and friendly. We were forewarned about the downstairs rooms being noisier. We chose downstairs and the only noise we heard was muffled people s footsteps about us, which was not a big deal.When we arrived at 7:30 am for breakfast, everything was ready and well stocked. All of us enjoyed the hot waffle and other selections very much.Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay and will definitely stay here again.

We got there pretty late and the owner and worker at the desk so efficient, fast, super kind, and accommodating! I could not have asked for better service! I ve done house cleaning for years and to go into a room that was clean, tidy, and didn t make me feel like I needed to clean it was a great change! They had a super nice breakfast as well! For those worried about covid, I m not but I know some are, they were great with masks, keeping distance, and proficient with disinfecting! I was definitely impressed by this hotel! Thank you guys for being awesome! 10/10 Recommend!

This is a conveniently located Super 8 just off I90 next to most amenities you'd need. Samir and his wife (the owners) are excellent hosts and have been very accommodating to my guys and myself throughout our stays. Its affordable, safe, close to everything and makes for a great place to rest for the night before you jump on the road again in the morning.

The owners and staff were very friendlyThe motel was very clean, they offered a free breakfast every morning with waffles you could make, cereal, yogurt, coffee, toast, bagels, ect. We enjoyed the place so much we decided to stay an extra night- we had stayed at a different hotel in Chicago which cost more and honestly that place was a dump! We were pleasantly surprised with the super 8 in blue earth Minnesota. There is also a restaurant next door and several other places to eat in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in this area. The cost was very reasonable compared to other hotels! The owners really take pride in their motel! We will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area!

Nice employees and location is nice, right next to the farmers daughters restaurant. And the jolly green giant statue is about a half mile up the frontage road. Dollar general is just about the same distance and dairy queen is right next to that. So plenty of things to do that are within walking distance of the hotel. Wish there was a pool but even though there isn't one, it was still a great stay.

I can't believe that people are putting on here that the owner is friendly. He was the most rudest man I have ever met. After my husband over heard the owner and a staff member talking about bed bugs, we asked if they found bed bugs there. He freaked out and threatened to call the cops on us. We left!! (Without a refund.) Never will we ever even stop in that town again!!

Our door did not have a latch lock.We did not feel very safe here. We had to open the bathroom door all the way so if someone wanted in our room they couldn't get in.The front desk clerk was offensive. He asked if we wanted two beds instead of one, when my husband responded "no", the front desk clerk responded in a derogatory tone" Oh ! I see BOYS". We will not be going back.

The staff was very friendly, room was clean, and the breakfast was good but the facility itself could use a major remodel.The room was clean but outdated and had many poorly fixed maintenance issues. The shower curtain had rips on top. Our room door was crooked and left a big gap that you could see through from in or out of the room. The exterior of the building did not look well maintained.If you don't mind the imperfections its an OK place to stay for a night.

This has to be the cleanest motel I've stayed in, in years! The staff is amazing. Everything works. I woke up and thought I was in my own bed, (which I haven't slept in since June).Don't bother staying in Albert Lea... Drive the extra 15-20 miles and stay here.

This place is outstanding; comfortable, very clean and has beds that make you sleep like a baby. The front desk clerk was most helpful, knows the local history and was very welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, and no smell.Slept real well on the bed. We spent a week there and had to do laundry once, the laundry room could be cleaned better, but would like to suggest a clothes rack to hang clothes on when taken out of the washer and dryer.and was alot of flys in breakfast room. Nothing fancy but we thought it was a good motel.

The room was just what you would expect from a Super 8, modern and comfortable. I did have an issue with service at check-in with what appeared to be new employees who weren't trained in hospitality, but the employee who checked us out proved that not everyone who works there is rude.
