We have been taking both our personal vehicles and work vehicles to Darrick's Preferred Auto for over a decade. The service is the best we have ever experienced both in the office and in the shop. We are very fortunate to have such a quality place to go to so close to home. I even catch ourselves taking the quality of service for granted when other colleagues I work with have there vehicle down for a week at a time for similar things that Darrick's will have done the same day! I would recommend them to anyone that wants the best service that can be offered! Thanks for all you do and looking forward to continuing to work with the best in the area Derrick's Preferred Auto for years to come!

My wife and I have brought our cars to Darrick s for over a decade and we have always been treated great! The staff is second to none and the work is always done right the first time. We recommend them to anyone that asks about auto repair in the area.

I was very pleased with each of the people I had contact with that Darrick's Repair.Communication was very clear and concise. The repairs were completed in a very timely fashion and seemed quite thorough. I will definitely return to Darrick's for my service needs in the future.

While I cannot really speak to the quality of the work itself (having neither checked it all out nor the knowledge to review it if I had), the employees were all very friendly and courteous. They kept me pretty well informed as to how the work was progressing, and for each issue that came up, asked how I'd like to proceed. The price was high, but honestly better than I expected it to be. All in all, I'd say it seems like a very good shop option.

Darrick's is the place to go. Not only does darrick know his stuff he's a nice guy and will show you what he's talking about. Derrick is about the best electronic trouble shooter in Southern Minnesota. If you have an issue with anything electrical on your vehicle he can repair it. At a reasonable price.

Are Ford Mustang fuel pump went out while we were in town. On a SundayThey got it into the shop Monday morning. Had it fixed that afternoon the quoted price was exactly what it was. Great service I would highly recommend them.

Darrick was a professional. He quickly assesed my situation and walkede through what would be needed to be checked and repaired. Every time I go to Darrick's, they are friendly and do their best to get you back on the road. They came and picked me up at my house while my car was in their shop, and gave me a loaner car while mine was being serviced. They are honest and transparent in their service, and really care about customers as people. I always feel appreciated, and they do great work. They even give you a punch card for a free oil change! Great people, great service. They run the ideal small town shop.

Darrick's Preferred Auto is a major factor in the success of my business. Darrick and his technicians are absolute wizards when it comes to diesel maintenance and super tuning, enabling my '07 Duramax Chev K2500 to log over 720,000 miles and yet run like new. I trust Darrick with all my other vehicles as well, as they can work on anything. Darrick goes above and beyond to satisfy customer concerns while keeping his usual standard of excellence. His friendly staff are great at scheduling, explaining invoices, and making sure that any question is resolved. Darrick has an outstanding network of parts support and can get anything usually in a day or less. Darrick's fair prices and exemplary service beats all other shops, including dealerships! I have been thoroughly impressed by the work from Darricks After tire replacement and subsequent failure of the tire Brittney took care of all the supplier paperwork to get the replacement for free. The people at Darrick's Preferred Auto have gone out of their way a number of times to ensure my vehicle was repaired quickly and back on the road! Darrick's has easily earned my rating!

Darrick's is now my go to place for auto repairs I cannot do myself.When you first enter the building, you walk into a clean brightly-lit reception area. They're quick to greet you from behind the desk. If they are with another customer, they take the time to acknowledge you and tell you they'll be with you in a moment.If you are trying to explain a problem that you are having and you're not quite sure how to describe it, they offer suggestions as to what it might be, without sounding condescending or treating you like you don't know anything.Some shops will tell you what they believe the problem is and how much it will cost. Then, if it turns out to be something less expensive, they will try to convince you that you should replace the other part or have the other procedure done anyway since you're already there.Not Darrick's. If you don't need a part or you don't need the work done, they're not going to try to convince you that you need it. They might mention that particular thing could be a problem in the future and since they already have it torn down or they are working in that area, it might be a good idea to take care of it now. However, if you even hint that you're not interested in it, there's absolutely no pressure to try to get you to change your mind.Other companies may give you a quote on a very expensive repair and if you don't have the money, they will still tell you you don't have much choice. Darrick's on the other hand, has offered me alternatives that may cost me less now but also inform me that I may need to still have the other work done in the future. In other words, they're not out to get the most money from you in any way they can.I've described some shops as only knowing how to deal with vehicles but not with people. Darrick's does both very well. Their staff is courteous and helpful. They are even willing to call you and keep you well informed of the progress. They also offer nice loaner vehicles.I know this is a rather glowing review for the company, however, it is a very honest one. Every now and then you find a business that is truly deserving of your patronage and your compliments and this is one of them.

Roger is great! He s precise and quick - an efficient and safety conscious tow truck driver. Darrick s has always done a great job servicing our cars - both old and new. Recommend them to anyone.

Darrick's is honest and reliable. I know that when I take my car there they will pay attention to the details and everything going on with my car. They have saved me a lot of money, and are always timely and efficient.For me, going to Darrick's is worth the drive and I have recommended that my friends and family go to Darrick's.

Without notice, I showed up on a Saturday morning at 8 am in need of a repair so my son could practice for his driver's license exam that week. Darrick and Tony made sure that my car was fixed that same day before noon. They even did an all over car check up for me where they found a reverse tail light out and fixed that as well. This shop has always done a great job for me and I highly recommend them to everyone!!

Wow!!! I just want to say my experience with Darrick was great. My vehicle broke down and was in need of some major repairs. I am not from the area so I was a little hesitant to just have it towed to any shop. When I started the entire process I was surprised by what the tow truck driver offered. Since he lived a few miles within where the car broke down he offered me a lower rate to pick up and tow. Then when it came to diagnosing the problem Darrick and his team did exactly what I expected. They called me with the not so great news of the cost and time to repair. I was still a little skeptical about Darricks because you don't know who these folks are but you don't have much choice either because they have pulled your car apart. I do have to say that there guarantee puts your mind at ease a little. Again more then expected. The initial estimate was a far sum of money and did increase as they removed parts and got down to the real cause of the issue. This was not surprising as I knew about some of the issues prior to the break down. All I can say is the option was there to do the work when it was apart and not after the fact. Fix the problem when its apart and not after you have put the motor back together. I liked the approach of Darrick's Team and the candid conversations we had throughout the process. After all is said and done I would recommend their service to anyone. Great job and wonderful people to work with, honest and trustworthy. I don't believe you can say that about many Automotive/Repair shops but Darrick's is one of them.Thanks Stranded Crew

My husband was on the way to a meeting hours from home when his car broke down. I found this shop online, about 4 miles from where he was and he gave them a call. They took his car in immediately and fixed it while he waited. Not only were they kind and professional, but they were extremely fair in their pricing and even offered to loan him a car so he wouldn't miss his appointment. We have several vehicles and are very familiar with auto repair. We wholeheartedly recommend this repair shop and are so thankful for their help today!

Darrick s preferred auto helped us as we were stranded in the interstate. They towed our car to the shop and repaired it in half the expected time. The workers are friendly and helpful. Great service great people!

Despite not having a pillow and blanket for that ridiculously comfortable couch, I love this place. The people are friendly and the service is top notch. I feel they are honest & fair and as long as Darrick's is around, that's where I will go.

I am AAA member and this company's towing service was called out to help me when I was stranded on I-35 in Minnesota. First we had to wait 30 minutes for them to get to us and when the tow truck driver arrived (Mike) he was very very rude. He refused to tow us until we paid him $150 tow our trailer and because we had to call family to help pay for extra fee that we were not expecting to be charged. Then told us that we had to pay $10 extra dollars because he had to wait 2 extra minutes for us to make the phone call. Even though we had to wait 30 minutes for him to get to us. Then after he received payment he towed us to what we thought was supposed to be a mechanic shop but turned out to be a closed auto body shop. After figuring this out our driver Mike then proceeded to drop the car and our trailer in the dark at a closed auto body shop in 20 degree weather. We stated to him that we would be even more stranded than we were if he left us here, than we were on I-35. The driver expressed no concern. We then asked if he could please reattach the trailer to vehicle, he refused and drove off leaving me and my pregnant daughter along with our two dogs in the dark in the cold with no options. I will not ever recommend this company and have filed a formal complaint with AAA along with photos of how we were left in the cold with no concern and in a town with absolutely no hotels for miles. I would never do that to anyone and never experienced such awful customer service and lack of concern for another person in my life.

I've brought all my vehicles here for years. They fix all the problems and install all the after market parts I want. Professional, quick and affordable. I always feel like I'm getting VIP treatment.
