Excellent repair. Family has been using for 10 plus years. Would highly recommend and have recommended to many friends. Fair prices good customer service. Recommend calling ahead very popular shop so normally have to schedule an appointment a week or two out.

Outstanding efficient operation! We were up in Bemidji on our annual fishing trip. We found our boat trailer had an issue w the hub on our drive. We called Dick s n Chris told us that he wasn t sure if he could get us in, but to stop down n they d take a look at it. Chris looked at the hub n said I can t put u back on the road w this issue ! He fit us in the same afternoon n the mechanic not only replaced the bearings but without being asked checked out the other wheel to find it in really poor shape as well! Nick said he could get the parts but would need to keep the trailer overnight. We picked up our road worthy trailer the following morning and were off! We don t write reviews often but we were so I impressed with their service, courtesy, workmanship and reasonable cost. We d definitely would refer Chris, Nick n the crew to anyone!We hope you enjoyed your pizza tip, guys!

We had a surprise issue with our pickup while driving North on Highway 71, hours from home. Luckily we were near Dick s Northside. They helped us out right away and were able to diagnose the issue and get us back on the road ASAP! Mark is super nice and helpful. Whenever I think something is wrong with my vehicle and there isn't he tells me there isn't a problem and doesn't charge me for looking. Sometimes if you pay with cash he will give you a discount. Great people. They try to help as much as they possibly can and they charge a fair price.

I had gone to Dick's for the five years that I lived in Bemidji, and never went anywhere else. Mark, Chris, and the crew are honest, very friendly, and always dealt with me fairly. My car was always in good hands here, and I cannot say enough about the level of service. Highly recommended!

This is the most honest place to go for repair and oil change that you could find. A little hard to get into as they are really busy, but do a great job. They treat you as family.

The people were friendly and accommodating. They fit us in the same day to check out a used car we were thinking of buying. They showed us and explained their findings and charged very little for the service. I highly recommend this business for their automotive needs.

Attempted to make an appointment to have my ac looked at and was told they couldn t help me because I couldn t drop my car off and leave it there for a day. I was attempting to make an appointment and at least get a diagnosis and quote because agreeing to leave my only vehicle there all day. At no point was it offered to potentially look into another day or time it was just simply cannot help you bye. That is ridiculously unprofessional. Guess I dodged a bullet going here.Update response: I asked about a date if you had any openings. I wasn t even given the chance to ask about another possible date or even offered the opportunity to look at potential other dates. All I got was a sorry can t help you bye. Short and cut off. That doesn t speak highly to the professionalism of this establishment to be rushed off the phone and not even offered or given the option to inquire about other possible dates. If you schedule a week or so out seems odd no one would have said that over the phone or asked if there was another possible date to look into don t you agree?

I had my traverse in two Friday's ago. We had engine lights and warnings of reduced power. When we stopped at a traffic light in Bemidji, it wouldn't go over 15 MPH. We were visiting for the weekend and had driven all the way from central Iowa. It was suggested by my father in law to call Mark here. I told him my story and he got me in right away. They were able to diagnose the throttle assembly as the issue. They did what they could but couldn't get to actually replacing it until the next Wednesday, which didn't work for our schedule. Luckily it was working after they had a look at it and we could hopefully get home on it. Unfortunately the problem came up again on the way home when we were just north of Brainerd. Thank you Mark for doing what you could on short notice and diagnosing. It helped when we had to stop in Brainerd to get it replaced.

My daughter is going to collage in Bemidji. She has been having a issue with a no crank on start for a week or so. After needing to jump start the car five or six times I found a phone number for Dick's. I talked to Chris he said to have her drop it off and he would look at it. Chris was able to find the problem and take care of it for the most reasonable price I've ever heard of. I live 250 mile away and it's really nice to have someone we can trust to help her out if she needs it. Thanks Chris!

Best place in town for all your auto repair needs. No matter the problem with my vehicles over the years Dick's Northside has been able to diagnose and fix them. Friendly service.

It's been a few years ago, I brought an older Jaguar in for an oil change to Mark. Wasn't sure if it was going to be easy or not, but I knew it was in good hands. Thank you.

VERY disappointed in their service, or lack thereof, as they refused to install a headlight that I purchased elsewhere, citing "markup" or some such as a big part of their revenue stream, words to that effect. I figured to pay for the labor, but they weren't even making that while sitting on a stool and not installing the headlight. So if I get cited for not having a working headlight, it's not for lack of trying. Really just stunned that I got no help with a safety issue.

Asked to get 4 rusted bolts drilled out & had the new hardware, charged me $406 because it was hard to do. Over priced and the took 4 hours longer than they said it should ve taken.
