Update: It is with a heavy heart that I edit my original review. Noah was a great guy but after driving and then towing our Jeep to International Falls we had to have it worked on by a dealership there. The bearings and seals were not installed correctly which caused even more damage costing us an additional $1500. There were metal shavings in the differential and the axels had to be replaced. We tried several times to contact Noah and to have him call or text us back but we received no response after his initial "let me know" call. Just be aware. Original post: Best mechanic ever! Noah went above and beyond to get us back on the road. We were visiting from AZ and broke down in Itasca State Park. Noah drove us to a local motel, got our Jeep fixed and picked us back up at the motel. He gave up his weekend to make sure we were taken care of. We highly recommend Shegrud Auto Repair. Excellent repairs and communication. Thank you Noah!

I called around every repair shop in my area and Noah was the only one to help with my vehicle troubles. He helped me the same day I called him we got the car up there and he got to work. He was very open with his communication and I feel like I understood what was going on. I would definitely give Noah Shegrud my business again I highly reccomend him if you need engine repairs!

Noah is the man!!! We were on our way up north for a fishing trip, but had our front left wheel bearing go out. We werebroken down in the middle of nowhere on a Saturday afternoon... We managed to get a ride into town to look for help. They recommended Noah to us. We called him up, and he went and picked up the part we needed from another town, came and picked us up, and gave us a ride back to our vehicle. He fixed our broken wheel bearing on the spot, and got us back on the road. He saved our whole weekend. Highly recommend him!

We were on day 2 of a 14 day trip from Michigan to Washington when our brakes started sounding terrible. They got to the point we no longer felt safe driving and after calling about 5 other shops that couldn t get us in we were feeling pretty defeated. We decided to call one last place- Shegrud Auto Repair. Noah SAVED OUR BUTTS. Fixed our brakes in no time and we re back on the road! I was camping at Itasca on a Sunday when I needed a water pump replaced on my van. Noah arrived within an hour, drove to Bemidji and back for parts,installed the water pump and a belt right at the campsite. He was very professional and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this business.

Had a "service engine soon" light come on in our RV shortly before arriving at our campsite in Itasca State Park. Called the RV manufacturer, engine manufacturer, several automotive service center's and none could help other than to refer us to someone else...until we found Shegrud. They came to the campsite with in a few hours with equipment to diagnose the issue. Found we needed a quart of oil and air filter then found a parts place near our next stop where we coukd get them and install...showed us where and how to replace the air filter...very easy to do. And only charged a minimal charge for his efforts. Highly recommend this knowledgeable and honest business.

Amazing experience! Noah took a call on a Sunday afternoon, met us, diagnosed the problem, went to Bemidji to get the part and got us back on the road quickly! Definitely went out of his way to help us! We are so appreciative of his expertise and quick work!
