Really great repair shop! We were traveling through town on our way to Iowa for a tournament when our brakes (we just had done elsewhere) went out. Everyone was super kind and quickly got us on our way within an hour. They were also really reasonably priced! Bonus points they had a very cute shop dog.

An amazing family business who will go out of their way to help with car repairs or even unexpected events. We were very happy with all of their work especially with Saturday hours when you have something happen like a tire issue. Thank you!!

The wonderful People at West Oakland Auto Repair helped me out when no other shop in Austin would. A minor breakdown had me stranded at 5pm on a Friday. After calling several places (with the help of a kind employee of autozone), West Oakland said they would get me in. They quickly diagnosed a bad tensioner on my serpentine belt, sourced the part, and had me back on the road by 6pm. I couldn t have been more thankful for their kindness. Can't say enough good things about these guys! Everyone is so courteous and helpful. Went in to make an appointment for an oil change and they were able to get it done right away. They helped me when I had an issue on a long road trip. I was super stressed but they were very kind and put me at ease and fixed my issue efficiently and affordably. But the best part is that they have the most beautiful bathroom I ve ever seen at an auto shop. I was referred there by Auto Zone. I got in immediately. Jos� worked on my van. They diagnosed and fixed the problem within the day, the price was very reasonable for their exceptional service. The people up front were very nice, as well as the German Shepherd was friendly and there to greet me. I totally will go back for any car issues, and I d suggest you d do the same.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Terrible service. They incorrectly did a wheel alignment and when I came back the next day they said i would have to pay for another alignment. Just stick with Firestone and reputable companies for your mechanical needsService: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

Honestly I ve been in multiple auto repair but West Oakland Auto Repair is the best you might ask why? Customer service is they will help you even the store is about to close and it is fair price!! Called to get an estimate for repairs. I was informed that they would ask and call me back. Day 5 still waiting on that call. Dont let them do this to you. If they try to hang up and call back don't use their services.
