This location caused $1300 in needed repair work on my Jeep. They torqued down the cap on my oil filter so tight that it cracked the lead going to my oil cooler. My Jeep was leaking huge puddles of oil. When I took it to my repair guy he said "I know two things. you don't change your own oil and you go to Valvoline." The replacement piece is $550 let alone the cost of labor. If you want damage done to your vehicle then I guess this the place to go.

I had the best experience at Valvoline this past time. Noah (manager) helped me out and he was incredibly kind and had answers for all of my questions. My car was serviced very quickly! The overall experience was great and Noah is a wonderful team member!

If I could give them a - rating I would. These guys put the wrong filter in my jeep and continued to tell me they checked the filter so many times and changed it twice when at 2st they told me I had used the last filter. All of sudden one appears out of the blue. I'll never go back to them again. Worst place ever

Always great service! These guys are polite, and do good work fast. I appreciate the consistency at this location! Give them a shot, I think you'll be happy. Josh was the guy that helped me today, but they've always been very pleasant to work with.

Horrible horrible experience.. I have gone here for 5 years and will never return. I m still in disbelief with how my vehicle and myself were treated by the staff. I have always had a friendly experience until now.Noah the manager and another man worked on my car for a routine oil change. They took care of another woman first who got there after me while me and my children sat and waited. Not a big deal. Nobody was really friendly just strictly business and then I was done. I immediately noticed oil leaking from my vehicle. I currently have a 5 ft long oil leak on my garage floor. I have never had a single issue with my vehicle and it has never leaked oil prior to this oil change. So, I brought it back and there were different employees there at this time. Once I told them I had an oil leak they told me it wasn t their fault before even looking at my car. They then spent less than 5 minutes inspecting my car to say nothing is wrong. We did nothing. But I don t know where the leak is coming from. It s old oil. A bunch of lying excuses in one sentence.. They proceeded to tell me they didn t know their managers number, they wouldn t refund me, and there is nothing they can do at all because they didn t cause it. I will never be returning and Valvoline better hope nothing happens to my vehicle otherwise they will get the bill. At the very least I should have received an apology and a refund. I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional way before. I was on the phone with customer service while I was still there and the representative could hear the way they were speaking to me and she just kept apologizing. But, nothing was done to correct this huge mistake! Terrible way to run a business if you ask me.**You could have called my phone to personally tell me I was receiving a refund instead of posting it on here to possibly redeem yourself in the public eye. But thanks for the refund!! I appreciate it! And good luck to the customers you have that trust you!***

Been going here for a number of years and have never had a bad experience. The employees are personable and take their job seriously. They check and double check their work before sending you off. Sometimes there might be a wait depending on business but they move through vehicles fairly quickly.

We got an oil change a couple months ago and they ended up breaking our case for where our air filter goes and the manager Noah told my husband that they would pay to fix it, the part was on back ordered every where and costed 500 and something to get it. We told them that if they were ok with it, we could ordered it if they would be willing to pay us back and he agreed it was fine. We ordered the part and got it for 360 dollars and gave him the receipt and still have not got our money back for it. My husband keeps calling the manager and we hear nothing back from him. I would not recommend going to a place that says one thing and doesn't do what they say they are going to do. This is money that we shouldn't have had to fork out right before Christmas for their screw-up. We are almost to the 3 month mark and have not heard anything back from the store manager Noah to get this resolved.Service: Oil change

I figured I had a $15 coupon and they do oil changes in 15 minutes. I'll give it a try. Never will do an express oil change place again. They didn't do the full service. I didn't get my lights checked on. The service took over 25 minutes. I'm fine with that but wanted to add how long it took. Also put the wrong oil capacity on the paperwork. The reason the 2 stars I'm happy they called to check on right oil filter and good customer service. The crazy thing to it was $81.52 for full synthetic after a $15 coupon.Service: Oil change

After having a horrible experience trying to get my oil changed at Brooklyn park location where I read similar reviews of experiences getting put in a line making you wait without any communication and letting cars just pulling in go ahead of them, I was thankful for the great service provided by the crew at the Anoka location. Yes, Brooklyn park's failure was bad enough to make me want to leave and try another location. One car ahead of me far back in the middle of the lane so I had to pull around to a lane on the side. They came out and told me move to another lane and let that car go ahead, which was appropriate. Then after 10-15min one other car just pulled in behind me and they opened other side next to me and instead of communicating to me the same courtesy they provided the other driver before me they went up and told the car just pulling in to pull in. I would have been fine with this is my lane was going to open soon but after another 10-15min the lady getting her car serviced in the lane they had me in got out and they must of been giving her the works because I waited another 10-15min before other cars were getting finished and I was trapped waiting with a time crunch and having to pull out and go. All this time no one even granted the courtesy of communicating with me what was happening. Thankfully the kind gentleman behind me backed up to let me out. Then I reached Anoka and they gave me their 5 star quick service. Thanks Anoka Valvoline! Definitely if you can choose between the two, choose Anoka over Brooklyn Park!

I want to acknowledge the Saturday morning guys for their transparent and honest service !! My F150 said I needed my oil changed and they serviced my vehicle before. So, upon arriving, they checked my records and current mileage. To my surprise, I had been using synthetic oil which doesn't require a change for 5k miles. My truck alerts me at 3k miles. So, the technician told me to come back in 2k miles, topped off my fluids and sent me on my way at 0 cost.Appreciate this type of service!!!

I should've posted this comment way back last fall when it happen but better late than never. I got home from the oil change to find my truck was dripping a decent amount of oil. It left a keg size spot on my newer concrete driveway. I had to go back, the manager blond hair younger guy, handled the situation great. He owned up to the guys down under not whipping things down after dropping the filter and offered to come to my house to clean the driveway, I took him up on it and the next day he came and spent sometime on getting that oil out. Stand up guy. Wish I remembered his name.Service: Oil change

Great service! Never have to wait long for an oil change. All of the employees are very good at explaining everything and they always ask if I have a coupon to use, which I appreciate because I usually forget if I do have one. Respectful! Efficient! Awesome customer service! Well managed location!

Hit or miss. Somedays it s fast, but today I must have got the B crew because everything was slow. Waited about 25 minutes to get into the bay. The oil change took about double the usual time and after it was finished I waited for 15 minutes for a certain guy to run my payment while the other guy walked around looking for things to do. Still paid the same huge bill at the end of the day.

These guys have the best attitude! Bad attitude and poor customer service from manager "Brian" was it? on duty today. The rest of the crew tried to be helpful at least when my husband was inquiring on the warranty of the battery we purchased from this establishment. Even if you were unable to help you could still give great customer service and shelve the attitude. We can go elsewhere for our vehicle needs from now on. No need to have me reach out to further address my complaint either Valvoline- if I need more poor customer service I'm sure I know where I can find it now.

The Anoka Valvoline Rapid Oil Change was great Noah and the crew were gentlemen. They check all fluids and filters and let me know I was good to go. On the phone they tell you 15-20 min but when you get there it's over an hour wait. It's not INSTANT anymore. But the employees are super friendly and professional. And you don't need an appointment so . . .good to go

Went in specifically to have a head light replaced along side my oil change-brought it up twice to the tech, the light check was even performed, and I sat there for probably 45 minutes only to get home and realize it hadn't been changed. Triple check that they're actually going to do what you ask I guess.
