I purchased my 2008 vehicle in 2010 and luckily never had much need for a mechanic until about a year ago. A friend recommended a competitor of Sandy's Auto Service, but I knew somebody that had a bad experience at that competitor, so instead I did a Google search for shops near me and simply got busy reading reviews. I was looking for someone honest, and was knowledgeable and reasonably feasible. After reading the many positive reviews on Sandy's Auto Service, I chose them and have been very happy with my selection. I've needed Service on my 14 year old car now a few times in the past year and I've found Chris at Sandy's Auto Service has always been very responsive, helpful and respectful. He is knowledgeable, very accommodating schedule wise and extremely trustworthy. This is the first review I've ever left for any place I've ever patronized and it was very easy giving them five stars, I highly recommend Sandy's Auto Service for all your Auto repair needs.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes

Been using Sandy's for years for all our vehicles. It is the ONLY place you should be bringing your vehicle! Chris' knowledge and professionalism is second to none, and Abby is wonderful to interact with and great at providing clear information. Honest work at a fair price done correctly every time, on time. I've been taking my cars there for a few years. Chris really impressed my with his honestly during my my first visit. He made sure he knew what the issues with my Ford was before he started any real work so I wasn't wasting a bunch of my money on other things. Great work. Great guest service. Great customer service. It was my first time there. I was referred to them by a relative and Chris was amazing with finding the issue on my Escalade. Fast and efficient service. Brought my car in for a runability repair that 2 other shops and the dealer couldn't diagnose. Chris found some wires that had rubbed through the loom behind the power steering pump bracket, repaired the wires, while I waited and barely charged be a $100 for diagnose and repair! The car runs great now!!

Great service. I love these guys.My go-to car repair shop in Nordeast Minneapolis was slammed and just didn't have time to get my car in. I met Chris through the MetroNorth Chamber and it was clear he loves what he does and takes great care of his customers, so I trekked up to Coon Rapids. And was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the service fast, the cost of the repair came in under the estimate.Abby does a bang-up job of running the front desk too. Knowledgeable, helpful, upbeat and friendly.Go here for your car needs!

I am currently sitting the the waiting area. I bring my car to honest 1 for my oil changes, they told me my entire front end suspension was destroyed and basically said my tires would fly off if I didn t get certain things done ASAP. Currently doing an inspection and nothing that honest one said was truthful. Yes I have minor things with suspension, but not anything that needs to be done for a while. I do have other problems which Sandys spotted that were never mentioned.Needless to say being showed what s wrong has eased my mind and I will continue to come back to Sandys for my vehicle needs.

Very Friendly. Very good at explaining what they plan to do. Good price. Fast turn-around. My car's starter failed, and Sandy's Auto got the car in and out in one day.

Anyone one thinking of going to this place, I called to have a inner tie rod done on my sons car the service department said he wasn't interested in doing the job, what kind of business is that ? I'd think twice before using this place!!!

Charged me over 100 dollars to remove some ice I think it took less then an hour of work. My guess is by the lack of work they had they need as much money as they can get. Will never go back there again. What a rip!
