This shop is like no other! They went way above and beyond any other mechanic shop has. I was always treated with respect and the communication was exceptional. I never felt like i was treated differently for being a girl. They helped me nearly daily with a difficult warranty situation where most shops would have given up. When the claim was finally approved, they had my truck done very quickly. Through the entire process they made me feel like I was super important and working with them was very easy and informational. My questions were always answered even when the questions were difficult to answer. I always had a rental available to me when I needed it. They were upfront with costs and next steps. They helped me feel confident in making decisions and working with warranty. I will always bring my vehicles here as they make me feel like they are working in my best interest and safety. Thank you for everything Honest one. You have a customer for life.

Honest 1 is just what it is - honest. I brought my Honda in for a transmission fix and they took care of it with high quality. The customer service was professional and their technicians were exceptional. Will recommend them anytime.

I had the unfortunate displeasure of having these con artists work on my car. Only to have the part fail almost a year later. But that's not their biggest problem. It's the costumer service and the lack there of. I had my tire rod ends replaced last March. I took my car elsewhere for another issue and I was made aware of the faulty parts. I had my partner deal with honest one because he knows more about cars then I do. They were told to contact him back instead this bent out of shape individual called me back. Attempted to talk circles around me about money they owed me for overcharging. He said they did the job they charged me for but they did not. I had to contact the old owner of that shop. Let's just say he was not supprised about the discusting service I recived. They said they fixed it then offered credit of some sort. Why would you offer me that if you fixed it? Then he said there was no way the current owner would reimburse me. So that let's me know that if they rip people off they will get away with it. His used to be a gre a t shop that lived up to the name. Now they are just a disappointment. And based of f the reviews accountability is not their strong suit. Can't wait to see the owners response on how it's my fault.

I am trying to get away from the expensive but quick valvoline oil change place. I had a $15 coupon and Honest-1 could get me in that day so I decided to give them a try. I dropped off a jeep cherokee and was told it would be $91.xx out the door. (I almost grabbed my keys and left at that price) I mentioned that I had a $15 coupon and they said it would be less than an hour. It took just over an hour to get done and they said it took more oil than they originally thought (lol) and charged me extra. My total out the door was $85.xx after a $15 coupon. So over $100 for a jeep cherokee oil change. More expensive and took way longer than valvoline. Same day service is nice. I will not be returning.

I brought my car in for a break service the staff was professional and knowledgeable. They got my car in for the appointment called and informed me what need to be done within an hour. My appointment was at 1 and had my car done by 3. I overal was a great experience.

Had oil and filters changed as a walk in. Price was good. The service was fast, desk attendant was very managorial, polite, and informative of progress and such. The coffee bar was stocked and looked good. There was no dinking around going on there. I will be returning.

I went in for an alignment and was a little worried they would come back with lots of other stuff also. Which they did tell me other stuff that was wrong/preventing them from doing the alignment BUT they told me from a good place not to break me. I had my ball joint fixed first they did it super fast and they were right there to help with all my questions. They even helped me figure out where I could go for the less expensive tires. All things considering I will be going back here for future needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Called because I had a rattle, they let me come in after my workday. I was planning to call for an oil change, they've been servicing my car for over 4 years.Jeremy said come in after work we'll check it out. Up on the hoist it went. They called me out to see -- clamps broken, they would replace them for free! That's unheard of in today's world.They I went to schedule an oil change. They had time to do it right then. Tada! I was on my way.

Went in to change my rotors and brakes. Ended up fixing issues relating to engine light and traction control light. Supposedly my filter was changed and issues fixed. Next day had to take it back in. Lights came back on. Now it s another issue that needs to be fixed. Air filter was supposedly changed but driving it for two days, to and from work only. Decided to look at filter and when I checked the air filter it looked old with lots of gunk stuck in between the creases. Old sides and looks like they tried to air blow it to clean it up only. Hummm makes me wonder what else they cheated me on. I spend $1500 and I will not return. Cannot be trusted.

I went in and explained to Tim about my car issues. Tim and his team was very professional and help me diagnosis my suv and got me feedback within a day. This place is honest and gives concrete reasons and details about my vehicle that is old with 200,000 miles on it. I feel like I can trust them and all the questions I've ask was answered with honesty. I went to Honest 1 Auto-Care to get a wheel alignment. The inspection was $30. They stated I needed to replace my windshield wipers, tie rods, struts and shock, stabilizer link kit, steering rack and pinion. For a grand total of $5,200. I took my vehicle to get a second opinion because I m not new to mechanics and there scams. Second place told me all I needed was new inner and outer tie rods. For a total of $300 I got the vehicle completely fixed every other part they suggested was not needed but they wanted to replace to get more money out of me. Overall complete waste of time and money. Don t go here and always get second opinions.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

The guys at Honest -1 told me what was actually wrong with my vehicle and didn't pressure me to buy something I couldn't afford. I needed to replace the Driver Side Front tire on my car and didn't have the $ to replaceall 4 Tires which is needed or highly recommended for a All-Wheel drive SUV. They ended up giving me a free spare tire which I didn't have in the car and treated me with the most respect. They made a stressful morning and situation into a workable and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend the Honest 1 Auto in Anoka MN to anyone wanting honest and great customer service. Thanks Guys for saving my a** last week

Contacted Honest 1 regarding a 1998 Chevy Silverado dually that needed a blower and was not starting. The gentlemen was nice as I explained the background on the truck. Bought from my brother who passed, it had been sitting but was running great prior, and just needed it on the road as I had put 6000.00 in it over the last couple years. I mentioned possibly the starter due to it hesitating, but I really had no idea. I towed it to the shop after hours. They contacted me with a bill just under $600.00 for a battery and full diagnostic testing along with a very long list including light bulbs etc. My question is if it was in the parking lot - wouldn't they have needed to jump it to get it in the shop and therefore figure out it was the battery right then. The 600.00 did not even include the blower I requested which would have been around $400.00 more. When I called them back a different man pretty much went off on me explaining they had to do that in order to figure it out. If the shop cannot diagnose a battery, then how can I put any trust in them whatsoever. HORRILE!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my truck in for a mechanical issue that occured by driving. They identified the passenger side front axle as needing replaced, as well as providing a thorough list of items that need attention by priority. They were upfront about what it would cost for the axle replacement, and had it done in two days. It was an overall good experience, and I will return for other repairs in the future.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Probably a 5 star place, but this was only my first experience with them. I had hit a curb and the car steering wobbled and pulled to one side. They were very helpful, and fixed only what needed fixing - even though they had originally told me more would need to be done which I wouldn't have questioned. Tim and crew are tremendous. We had a problem and didn't know for sure what the problem was exactly. Our usual mechanic was out of town. Honest-1 stepped up to the plate and delivered. They gave us options and were really good to us.This was our teenage son's first time dealing with a repair shop so I am very happy to have it be a positive one.Thanks again guys!!! They were a complete rip off. Told me I need a completely new motor based on a visual inspection and for everything else I needed it would be $12,000 or more depending on what they see when they were in the engine compartment. I went to another shop and gave them the same list of repairs this shop told me I needed and quoted me $6,100. Not only that they charged me $120 for the visual inspection.This reply by them is absolutely ridiculous. 0 stars would be better. I told you I went to another shop and gave them the itemized list and they laughed and said "what a joke". Try and save face though.

I really liked this place. Most times when you call an auto repair shop the first person you talk to is rude and sounds like you are wasting their time. Right from my first phone call I didn't feel like I was an inconvenience for them. I needed a loaner car and they got me set up. The car they fixed for me needs a little more work (I bought a piece of junk) , and I will for sure be bringing it back in. This is officially my new mechanic.Service: Engine repair

This was my first experience with Honest-1. Mark was very professional and courteous. I only went in for an oil change but was very pleasantly surprised that the team assessed other areas of my vehicle, rated them, and sent me explanations and pictures regarding the inspection of my vehicle -- what passed, what would soon need to be worked on, and what had failed. I will definitely be utilizing their services again! Thank you so much.

Very fast and very decent price for the parts and labor had my truck done the next day after I dropped it off. They replaced ball joints control arms struts and tie rods on both sides of the vehicle rotated my tires and flushed the transmission.
