Took 2.5 hours to install new tires. When my dad asked if there was an issue that was making it take longer, the manager was super rude. Do not go there if you want friendly customer service. Prepare to deal with a crabby old man if you go to this auto center.

DO NOT USE, THEY DO NOT CHANGE OIL FILTERS! Before a road trip to the Black Hills, my mother had Walmart Auto Care change her oil. The next day, a few miles into South Dakota, her engine blew up. Walmart reviewed the footage and agreed that the technician pulled the oil filter and then placed the SAME FILTER back in. After the car was towed back to MN, her local mechanic determined that the oil filter was absolutely clogged and likely responsible for the engine failure. My mother routinely used Walmart Auto Care for oil changes, so who knows how long they went without replacing this filter. Despite their own video evidence Walmart Auto Care dispensed no compensation for the engine, the tow, or even the negligent oil change! Do not use this center. If you must, be sure that they have your oil filter in stock and double check that a new one is on before you drive away.

If you want a 2 hour oil change and rotation. You go here. I had an appointment at 3 pm didn't get out of the store to well past 5 pm.

My son stopped in for an issue with his vehicle that another local shop was paid to fix 3 times and failed.The auto center fixed the issue. It was quick and painless. Great job!!

First time having service since there. Made a walk in appointment. They were extremely busy but still managed to get our vehicle done in a some what timely manner. Worked quickly and professionally to make our appointment experience very good!!

Their air compressor was broken but was clearly treated with respect, and was able to get them contact the store in Sauk Centre to put them on for me ... I was very thankful for the politeness I received by their employee Patty ....

Service seemed to be quite slow even though I arrived early for my actual scheduled appointment. I would have given 5 stars if the service would have been faster. But for the price, it was worth the wait.

(I've read others posting 1 and I'm in disbelief.)Walmart Alexandria is a great place for tires and batteries. Given, these are the only services I perform outside of my mechanic. I constantly travel over the entire country, about 60k miles per year, so I go thru a lot of ties. Walmart has a great warranty and service no matter what Walmart you stop at. (And you know they're everywhere; great if you have a flat or need a rotate and your not close to home)The staff here have always been professional and courteous. They're decent in speed and even better now that you can schedule service. I've found they tend to go above and beyond consistently and are happy to answer questions if you ask.This store is the best, from the dozen or so I've had rotates and a battery warranty done at. I'll continue to only use this store for my needs!

We were on our way back to Illinois and stopped here to make sure the car was safe for the road. They did not check the tire pressure which is part of the oil change, or rotate the tires like we requested. They said they would rotate them after they serviced another customer. They left a large sticker residue on the windshield. The customer service was terrible.

I used to love the service at this store but recently it has become horrible. Needing air in my tire I asked them to check the bead. 3 hours and a few arguements later I was finally able to leave.The associate informed me that my tire was unsafe to drive due to tread being too low. It was in normal range as my husband had just checked over my van and we had talked about needing tires in the spring...I digress.We argued a bit had a manager come talk to me argue some more.. finally agreed to have the spare put on figured I would switch it out as soon as we left the shop...An hour later the associate asked what was going on as I thought they were already putting the spare on.So now after leaving the site and putting my tire back on we find a rock inbedded in the tire causing the leak...No one in the shop mentioned a rock in the tire...Would have saved me 3 hours and some sanity..Off to fleet to have them fix it.

Oil change and rotate tires I was 2nd in line. Arrived at 7:am. First customer new tires he was in and out in good time. I however did not get out of Walmart until 9:50. Associate who was up front had one excuse after another. I will be taking my car somewhere else. Very frustrating

Went shopping here one Isle open but five people will sit there and stare at you ringing up your own order. If you're that worried about people stealing do your job and open up registers

I came in at 3:40 pm to have 2 tires put on, they said itll be about an hour. I thought "oh no problem it's Walmart I can find something to do for an hour" BOY WAS I WRONG ITS 7 PM AND I. AM. STILL. WAITINGUpdate 7:17pm and I'm finally out of Walmart. 3 hours and 37 min later I'm finally done. Never going back there

I was not pleased with the service I received yesterday. When I arrived, there was only one person in front of me, yet I still waited in line to be helped for almost 20 minutes. When I was finally helped, the lady behind the counter was not personable at all.I don't know why they ask for a phone number because they don't call when the vehicle is done anyways (like they said they would.) I was told it would be about 45 minute wait. I walked around the store (with my 2 small children) for an hour and a half and no phone call, so I went ahead and checked out, and my vehicle had been done a while ago.Once I got into my vehicle, the oil cap was sitting in my ash tray, so I went in to ask about it (after checking under the hood and seeing they didn't replace it) and they said it was broken when it came in. I don't know how they would have gotten the plug off and then put back on, if it was broken when it came in. And if it was in fact broken when it came in, why wouldn't they call to ask if I wanted it replaced!? Instead, they leave it as it is and leave the garbage in my vehicle "in case I wanted to keep it."Not making that mistake again!

I was in Alexandria for a basketball tournament and my headlights went out. I called the service department and they were very friendly. I brought my car in and they fixed it right away. Great service with a smile!

I came in to have a oil change and waited patiently to get service while the lady ahead of me was getting her keys made. Then another woman customer comes in from nowhere with stuff to purchase walks up to the counter gets service. The cashier saw me and ignored me but didn't ignore the other customer that came from nowhere to pay for her stuff. Like.... WTH! So I walked out and very upset! Then I called and complained about it..........Lousy customer service at Walmart in Alexandria!!!!!!!!Decided to go to Mills Fleet Farm instead! Got in right away! That is what I call -Great Customer Service!!!

Worst service ever. Arrived 15 minutes after opening and was told it will be a 3 hour wait. I let them change my oil and when I tried to check out they did not know where my keys were. After 45 minutes of looking they finally figured it out that they were hanging on the wall by the register the whole time. Instead of an apology I was told "it happens" at least the guy said it with a chuckle.

Do not come here unless you have all day. I came for an oil change and they said it would be a 30 minute wait and it s been nearly two hours and mine is the only car in the place. It s ridiculous and we will not be coming here again. Bonus: they lost my car key.

Terrible customer service! We waited for 30 minutes only to learn they couldn't help us. Total lack of communication skills. Will never use this location again for Auto Care!

Waited 3 n half hours to get a new tire put on a spare not on truck but on my spare how do you think my experience was .the woman who helped me kept stopping couse she having dizzy spells maybe she should be in a easyer department .and the male clerk took 2 peeps ahead of me after i waited in line 10 minutes then he left the gizmo to scan the tires with laying somewhere and took another 5 minutes to find it .all n all next time all go somewhere else .

Was told it be an hour wait. Waited for more than hour and a half to get a spare tire put on. Could've done it myself. Never going again for tire service.
