When I was in the hospital at Mayo Clinic my wife had a problem with the car as it was misfiring. She went to the dealership and was told it would be a week before they would be able to work on it. She explained that she had to drive in two days to pick me up. She went to Precision Auto and explained her problem. They had her leave it and had it repaired the next morning. The price of the repair was very reasonable. They have a very happy new customer. We highly recommend Precision Auto for repairs.

After calling several shops looking to have a simple job done that someone else screwed up, and being told it would be a month before they could get to it, I finally stopped in Precision. I spoke with who I believe to be the owner, explained the situation, and he didn t hesitate to take the job. They called me the very next day to let me know that the job was done and I could pick up my parts. What do ya know, I picked up my parts and they did the job right faster than I expected, and charged a very reasonable fee. I m very happy with the service provided and wouldn t hesitate to use them again.

I originally brought my car in to have my window motor replaced. It only took them a couple of hours to do and the price was very reasonable.I also had them check my codes. It came up that I needed a new fuel pump, oof.. but they were able to get my car in the next day, and now she is like new!Absolutely recommend this place!

I am new to Alexandria so asked another business person for a recommendation. He suggested Precision Auto. I ve been there twice for oil changes and today Mike checked my check engine light for me so I knew it was safe to drive to St Cloud. He did this quickly and for free! I was so relieved and did not worry over my car with an hour plus drive in winter ahead of me. I am so grateful and will continue to take my little old car to his business even if the parking is a challenge and the waiting area not real desirable. I feel like they treat me fairly and that is HUGE for a widowed lady.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I had an oil change done here, shortly after I noticed leaking oil, I brought it in to a different mechanic shop. That mechanic shop told me that when they put my vehicle on the lift oil was leaking out of the oil plug, they removed the plug (struggled to do so because it was way over tightened) and when they got it off all the threads from the oil pan as well as the plug crumbled out with it due to the plug being over tightened. To fix this situation I needed a new oil pan put in. I brought my bill into precision Auto and showed Mike (the owner) and explained everything that I was told to him. He said this is "normal wear" on the vehicle. I can assure you this is NOT "normal wear" on a vehicle. This was a result in them screwing up and he refused to help make the situation right. They have poor customer service and do not care about their customers. I would NOT recommend going there!Service: Oil change

I cannot recommend Precision Auto enough. Mike has gone above and beyond for me and and is very accommodating to my schedule. My dad is a mechanic, but I live 6+ hours away, so I was nervous having anyone else work on my car. THANK YOU SO MUCH PRECISION AUTO!!!! When my old mini van started to over heat....I needed a shop that could get my van in sooner than later. This mom has lots of errands to run. You got my 17 year old mini van back up and running. I called all around town and you were the only one who could get me in. Other shops were 3-4 weeks out. Very honest and quick mechanic. They got the van fixed for a fair honest price. The next day I had my van back and problem solved. Also appreciate the updates throughout the process:) I am so happy! We found our new go to spot. Thanks!!!!!!!

I call various garages to price heater core replacement for my Jeep Liberty, theirs was the most responsibly priced many Garages did not want to tackle the job. They got my Jeep in quick it was done by the end of the day. I will definitely use them again.

My Daughter went there for a road trip fix and check. Had to go back 4 times, while they took advantage, charging her each consecutive day, for her car not to start., The 4th time I went in, and said, you re not going to change her again, are you? He said no. Few days later, it broke down again. Cost about $1,600 for a car, she ended up selling for $500, because it didn t work. She doesn t like confrontation so, she just let it go. I won t recommend anybody else to go there. As far as I m concerned, they owe her $1,100.Service: Electrical

Had a break line replaced. Price was fair about 200 bucks. I asked to inspect the entire breaking system and tell me if the rest needed to be done, etc.Was told they had rust but don't need to be done at this time. It was a 20 year old ford focus. It looked like it sat in a lake for several years. Its horrific, I saw the lines under the car and at the ABS with my friend with my own eyes.They failed shortly after that one by one just a few weeks later and i got rid of the car.I knew immediately afterwards that the advice made little sense and really believed it was too good to be true. One by one they did fail, luckily in a driveway. That type of advice can get someone killed and is wrong when asking for a professional opinion. Why not just err on the side of caution??? It would make more sense for the remaining 3 to fail one at a time while driving????

Mike and josh are great mechanics and are friendly to talk to! They have worked on my Volkswagen Touareg and Audi Q7 and always do a great job and answer any questions i have! They are the only shop in town that I trust with my vehicle!

I cannot recommend Tim and the guys @ Precision enough! Heads and shoulders above anyother. Precision confirms there are still great, trustworthy and honest people in the industry! Never bring anything that requires a quality mechanic to fix, it's not here ..... get a 2nd opinion .... It will save you money and time .... in my part of this review I spent 2300 to have my truck barely functioning .. 5star is a joke and a lie AVOID....... AT ALL COST
