I took my truck in for an alignment. First the customer service was shabby at best. I wasn't greeted or told someone would be with me shortly. The guy at the desk just chatted away on the phone.They took my truck in for the alignment. (I'm a mechanic) I went into the shop to check and the tech hadn't centered the steering wheel before the alignment. After he "finished" (which they didn't test drive) the alignment I paid and tried to drive it. It was way out of alignment. It pulled severely to the right as where if I steered straight the truck would have driven into the ditch. I went back and asked the tech if he centered the steering wheel and he said he did (after I already saw that he didn't). He then took it in and realigned it (just adjusting the toe) and then test drove it. After coming in he told me it was because there was a power steering leak (which has no bearing on the alignment). Previously, as I was paying they told me the front end was good and didn't need any parts replaced. However, after the test drive he told me the tie rod ends were loose. I reminded him they had already told me the front end was good. Then he tried to claim since it was an older truck it had a dead spot in the steering. If you pull the truck in straight, center the steering wheel and the tires are straight it would have been fine.So, because of the piss poor customer service, the shoddy workmanship and the blatant lies I will certainly not be taking my vehicle there in the future!

Great experience with the shop so far. I plan to switch over my business to Pomp's Tire Service as they were honest about their prices and time and got me in in a timely manner. Good services thus far.

From first phone call to cashing out my transaction, received NOTHING but top-notch customer service! Easy to deal with, schedule and final price LESS than quoted (which was ALREADY reasonable.) Will use again and recommend over and over.

I had a great experience at this locally owned tire shop. While traveling for business, I found myself in Alexandria and after leaving my meeting, found that the dust cover at the bottom of my car had become dislodged.I pulled into Pomp's to see if they could help, as I had a long drive back and wouldn't be able to drive safely as the cover was scraping the road. Pomp's was able to squeeze me in with a very minimal wait for this quick fix. (Goodyear across the street told me they didn't have availability until days later into the week). The gentlemen working the counter were friendly, helpful, and professional.It's clear to see why Pomp's has such a high amount of positive reviews. For folks that I know who are in and around Alexandria, I will be recommending Pomp's to them for all of their tire needs.

I called Pomps of Alexandria, MN, and spoke to Eric, who was extremely friendly and helpful. He informed me that he could and would seek out large, motorhome tires in the load range which I required AND with recent birthdates. Eric gave me a very fair price and had them shipped in from another Pomps warehouse. On installation day again I was pleasantly surprised with the speed and performance.Eric was an exceptional representative for Pomps.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff! They were able to get me in earlier than my appointment and they did 4 tires and an alignment in a very reasonable amount of time. Everyone I asked told me Pomp s was the best place in town, and I m glad I listened!

Very knowledgeable, got my car in for a tire change quick, personable and great to work with. All the staff will take the time to explain what the issue is with your vehicle or other transportation equipment and will explain the process to repair/maintenance your vehicle/transportation equipment. Installing a block heater was quick and affordable. I recommend!

They are the nicest shop around and the service couldn't be better. Took me in on a busy day with a flat tire and I was back on the road in less than an hour. Wouldn't go anywhere else for service in Alexandria.

Took our older RV in for tires and at intake, we asked them to see about fixing a few extra wiring issues. Got the RV back the next day, all issues addressed and fixed and the one thing they couldn't do, they have on order for us. Quote was still very close to actual price. Very pleased!

Needed an urgent tire repair for a truck and was told the repair would require a new tire and the service shop did not have anyone available to assist and I was turned away.Unfortunately, the employee at the desk was very matter of the fact and seemed quick to rush me out before even considering how they could help. Would not recommend this location.
