I d like to say this. Our large family has donated to Goodwill for years. We are disappointed with your service (or non service). We are disappointed with:1. Your return policy. It s ridiculous to sell products that people can only try out at home, and expect them to come back and quickly look for something to exchange it for. It s a terrible policy for customers. Why not give your customers a choice of return for exchange or cash back?2. Your prices are exorbitant, compared to other thrift stores.3. Your discounts for seniors only reaches that small percentage of us who can go there only on certain days. Why not let seniors have a discount any day of the week, when they are able to get there? Most seniors are living on meager social security checks. Please reconsider this policy.4. To ask us to round up to the nearest dollar is rude, when we re already donating our items , and donating our payments for items. I m sorry, it s just rude.Thank you for listening, and please consider revamping your policies.Sincerely,Kori WilliamsMinnesota customer

Each time I stop in, I find topnotch items at great prices. From vintage clothing, everyday clothing for the kids and husband to home decor; I would recommend stopping in at the Goodwill in Alexandria. Always great customer service too.

When I go here for a specific thing I always find it and more! cheap and affordable prices.

Just incredibly expensive. Everything they sale is given to them for FREE, it makes absolutely no sense. This company and CEO is GREEDY. It s no longer about helping people and others trying to budget like me. No longer shopping here or any Goodwill.

I don t know who would pay $8.99 for a worn old shirt just because it has a Maurice s brand on it along with a lot of others things they have asking too much for the condition. Lady at front check out with glasses today 4/10 gave my daughter the toy I purchased and my daughter did say thank you as I did too getting ready to go after paying she looked at my daughter and goes can you say thank you well it s not a big deal but let s not do that.

I hadn't been to Goodwill for quite a while but I happened to glance at the clothes and was surprised at the prices for used clothing. Have gotten to expensive for what they sell. Other thrift stores are cheaper and for what they want for used clothing you can go to Walmart and buy brand new for that price.

Prices on certain items are a getting a little ridiculous especially on used clothing, I believe a little greed setting in. Long wait at the checkout. Employee seem a little uptight, I felt some tension floating around in there!

The store is clean. The staff is very friendly. The merchandise is overpriced. I enjoy shopping at the other thrift stores in town over this place.

It is a thrift store with decent prices. I have found some gems in this store. Fun nic-naks, decent books, and perfectly fine clothes. It is a thrift store, thrifting is a hobby, and it takes time to find the right item.

I agree that prices at goodwill are no longer in good will towards the people but focused on making money. A wise woman once said to me that if everyone would just open their eyes and see that there's already enough clothes in the world why does it cost so much to put clothes on our backs?! If u get something for free and all u did was slap a tag on it and hang it on a hanger then it shouldn't cost me 20 dollars to send my teenager to school in something the kids won't bully her for because I can't afford to shop on rodeo drive. Good will towards all men and women, not just yourselves. The employees at a lot of the goodwill stores are rude to customers and each other. Probably because they aren't getting a piece of the markups either. So where is the money going? I haven't seen anyone at these stores learning employment skills, the management is too rude to even put a vulnerable person thru that, so the money isn't going there... Hmmm... If you up your prices, you should up your game.

Went looking for dress pants and shirts for a guy working in finance...hit the mother lode. Found some great pieces at reasonable prices and got a senior discount, too. The fun is in the hunt. Even got some new socks just for fun and a butter dish. It's been a good source for theatre costumes, too when I'm working on a play. Always interesting.

The prices have got so expensive. Double the prices to the other 3 thrift stores in town. Workers are so unfriendly they will use notebooks there s three in particular they are so rude not only to the customers customers children and the other coworkers to the point where it seemed they should ve lost their job one day they re going to get sued from one person in particular who picks on everybody between customers and coworkers. Too bad necUse I love the store and the other majority of workers

Made my last trip to the Alexandria Goodwill for a very long time today. Pricing is no longer reflective of a "thrift" store. Many Dollar Tree items can be found at 2.99, 3.99 and even 4.99! A long time irritation is having Pajama sets priced individually by piece, meaning secondhand PJs are 5.98 (2.99 each), which makes buying new a far better option.Nearly all items in ALL categories are priced at or above new prices, making this Goodwill store a waste of time for anyone thrift shopping. Check out Someplace Safe and other secondhand stores instead, and save yourself the disappointment.Note to Goodwill: whoever is setting your prices is completely out of touch with secondhand merchandise pricing. Knowing the difference between merchandise from Dollar Tree and Target, Kirkland's or Macy's should be a standard requirement.

Good selection of clothes. Checkout could have more cashiers, or a better way to get other associates up to the checkout. When having a piece of furniture loaded, the dude was not careful at all. He was very harsh with the table and ended up scratching my newly painted truck. The furniture may have not been new, but it is the treasure that I found that should be handled better than just throwing it around.

Goodwill has gotten full of themselves. Prices tripled in the last year. Item that s worth $3 suddenly being sold for $9. Honestly every time I go there is more disappointing than the last lol. Brought a broken backpack up to the til to ask if they can verify tag, said they wouldn t sell it any cheaper even though it was clearly missing a piece, as if it wasn t donated and they didn t pay a dime for it . Goodwill is a scam.

Prices are ridiculously high for a thrift store. Dollartree items price at 2.99 or 3.99 and other items with clearance stickers from stores priced well above the clearance price. Uff da.

This store is only a few years old, yet it has become very popular in the community. With a great selection of used items and previous store merchandise, there is something for everyone here! The only reason this gets a 4 star review is due to a very limited selection of mens shoes, of which it has very few. Overall, one of the best Goodwill stores I have ever been to.

All the recent reviews of overpriced is right. It's not just this one either. I stopped donating to goodwill because of this. They need to lower the garage sale prices. It's not retail! Go another thrift store or do garage sales lol.

Goodwill has many unique things you don't see every day. I like to find like new clothes for myself and my kids. I really like the drop-off garage to bring stuff I am done using.

If a store arbitrarily makes a rule which could deny access to their store without providing an easy and inexpensive remedy, then it is simply a method of driving away customers. I was denied access to the Alec store because I didn't have a face mask. When I asked where I could get one, she said they don't sell them and she didn't know where I can get one. I left feeling I was bullied and vowing never to return. The customer is clearly an inconvenience to this store. I will never return.

Very disappointed that I couldn't try anything on and you only have 7 days to return the item and can only return for inside credit only. Quit being lazy and use some microban spray in your dressing rooms so people can try on items that are already being touched anyway! It makes no sense cuz the item being returned for not fitting is being exposed to even more after leaving the store! Think your methods through I mean really, Seems like just laziness to me.

Checked the list of what was accepted as a donation only to be told by a crabby man that goodwill doesn t accept curtains any longer. Hopefully he was just having a bad day because a free owl sends customers away.

They seem to have donated stuff marked up higher then what I would expect from someone's used stuff. The store is very clean and organized. The people who work here are also very nice.

Check out could be smoother. The loader threw our stuff into the vehicle abruptly and without care. Regardless of it being used its the treasure we just found In the condition not to be damaged before leaving the property.

Dropped off today and the older man working the donation drive through was incredibly unkind and unprofessional. Spent my day going through my deceased grandmother's things to watch him smash them.
