Visiting from the cities and ran across this lovely little coffee shop. Happy to see that they roast their coffee fresh in-house. Enjoyed chatting with the knowledgeable roaster. Their Honduras coffee was delicious! The staff was pleasant. Very nice experience! Support this gem.

Excellent wrap...tasted great! Delicious dark chocolate mocha, one of the tastiest I've had! Had lunch in the "book room," pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff to boot!

Just a quick bite for lunch. The Cuban sandwich was delicious. I would go back for that alone. Lots of great menu items and specialty drinks. The decor was amusing and inviting and the barista was very friendly.

I love going in for a quick cup of coffee or to grab a bite and stay to work for awhile. The environment is very comfortable and quaint, unlike most corporate coffee shops.They also have a great space for hosting events. They call it the Upper Room and it can seat about 50 guests easily. The old building has so much character and the owner is great to work with. He'll let you in with your own food and drink, or he's happy to brew you some coffee or even staff someone to make drinks during your event. We just had a baby shower there and it was wonderful :)

This local owned coffee shop in Alexandria is amazing! Saturday 4/17/21 was our first time stopping in on our way to Moorehead to visit family, we will definitely stop in again! The guy behind the counter, whom I'm assuming was the owner, was very kind & helpful. The nitro vanilla was so smooth & tasty, my husband also enjoyed his vanilla iced latte! There was a group of about 9 localssitting near by & they were respectful & just enjoying a morning visit together which was nice to see. Thank you to the owner & staff for all the work you do in your local coffee house!

Rented the Upper Room for my daughter's bridal shower. The space is very large, literally the entire upper floor of the repurposed factory/warehouse. The room is decorated in a loose industrial/antique automotive motif with vintage tables and chairs. It has lovely antique wood and natural lighting, and concrete floors throughout.We brought our own food for the party, and ordered coffee from the cafe. Every single drink was declared delicious. Excellent barista on staff, both in beverage prep and accommodating service. Our party lasted past store-closing; we just had to agree to "lock up" after ourselves.Several faith groups use the coffee shop for meetings and worship. There is a clear Abrahamic faith-oriented feel to the rooms available for rent, a Bible here or there, Hebrew lettering on a sign, but nothing ostentatious as to make you feel unwelcome.

Ordered two caramel frappes, with three shots of espresso, got vanilla instead with no espresso, waited in line a second time to tell them it was wrong - I felt terrible because they were busy, explained/apologized and the woman making the drinks didn t apologize at all and told me very coldly it s caramel, but there s no espresso in them Which I feel is a problem in itself, I paid 18 dollars for the extra shots of espresso, took my drinks back, moments later she came back with them and one of them was the same vanilla frappe, one was a half liquid drink and said the one you drank from is free, here s three shots of espresso and some caramel (in the other cup with half poured out vanilla frappe in the bottom and so much caramel) then she said we didn t know what was going on when you said three, so just drink it And walked away from me. I had spent 40 minutes in there, just to leave in tears out of frustration - I don t usually stick up for myself and figured it could be such an easy fix and got treated poorly for it.

I'm a big fan of the coffee here. I was driving through for a wedding and stopped here to get some work done and ended up buying some of the beans they roast in house because I enjoyed it so much. Nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and decent wifi. I'll definitely stop in here again next time I'm in Alex.

A bit smaller cups of coffee but lower price also and the coffee is awesome! I had one of their sandwiches and it was very tasty so I would recommend this place to everybody!Wheelchair accessibility: Cute atmosphere and very roomy. Nice and cozy and decorated well

Peaceful atmosphere. Eye catching interior design. Unique coffee selection. Made my inner child happy. Just a great place to be. So, my conclusion? Yes. Just... Yes.

Great warm atmosphere when I met a friend visiting overseas , which this place was a half way point to meet. Love my smoothie I had, which I wished I took a pic of. Would love to come back for a concert or event as they have a small stage.

Cute little coffee shop with a small town feel. I love going to local coffee shops when I can, as I usually find them preferable/tastier than the large chains. Common Grounds definitely lived up to that and I would go there again.

Went to their Tuesday night break bread soup dinner. It's free, people were very friendly. It was a night I needed it more than ever, wish I would've stayed for a second bowl.... Highly recommend!

Wow! Best cup of coffee in town! We ordered the Lavender Almond Latte and an Americano. Both were amazing. First time here but definitely coming back!!!

Great time with open mic night. Amazing young people playing and singing hearts out and honoring their God. Wonderful hospitality from the owner and opportunity for others to listen watch or perform!

I've visited several times while seeing family in the area. The service is always particularly kind, attentive and thoughtful! The coffee is EXCELLENT!! (And I am from Seattle where coffee has high standards to meet!! Ha!)

Awesome little coffee shop with friendly staff! Amazing Chai tea latte. Has a neat prayer wall where people can write prayer requests. Plenty of seating.
