On a referral, we made an appointment for our older truck to get a second opinion. Previous business said bearings in front wheels, rotors & brake lines needed replacing to do alignment. We told Advanced Auto this & if it needed replacing to do it. They put us out 12 days. Brought it in at 8am Monday. Tuesday morning they said it all needed replacing and would take 2 days. Thursday, still waiting on parts. Next Monday they would finally tear it apart. If all goes well it would be done by end of day. That afternoon it still needed an alignment and something might be wrong with starter. Tuesday, starter was just loose.They replaced the tie rod end the previous shop said was fine. Did not replace rotors, bearings or brake lines. Noted in bill that "Chunk" is missing out of rotor and should be replaced soon. Charged over $600 but were kind enough to check air pressure in brand new tires. If they didn't want to work on it they should have turned us down. I recommend going anywhere else. They had the vehicle for over nine days and didn't replace any of the three things that another shop said needed replacing.

Stop by on a recommendation. I m from out of town and had a check engine light illuminate. Jeff discovered the code and told me all the options and had it reset and had me back on the road in no time. Thank you!

It's hard to find a good, honest mechanic shop with owners that care. Well here you go Wade and kari. The only problem is everyone knows that! It's not my own little secret anymore

I absolutely love Kari and Wade; they make me feel like family friends. They ve always been nothing but kind, generous, honest, and all around amazing. Any opportunity I can I always recommend Advanced Auto. We ve been through thick and thin with every one of my vehicles. The quality of my repair, customer service experience and cost were all excellent! My daughter (away at college) broke down just outside of Alexandria and Advanced Automotive was the first service shop I located online. We had the vehicle towed (Sunday night, of course) to the shop and I spoke with Kari and Wade first thing on Monday morning. Both provided positive and knowledgeable customer service (very important, especially given I am four hours away). The service was completed on time and estimate. Wade even followed up with me to make sure my the repair was to my satisfaction and my kids made it back to their college. I hope we never break down in Alexandria again, but if it happens I know where we will go. Highly recommended!

Definitely would recommend this place Wade was in contact with me through the repair process It took them awhile but they got to figure it out at a cheaper price then what he thought I it would be will be back if need for futher mechanical service
