GREAT SERVICE Team! Absolutely outstanding. I recently bought a set of Pirelli Tires for a Yukon XL that the Wuerflein Chevy GMC team suggested and I love them! BUT, UNFORTUNATELY, ...I ran over a screw. I took the tire off and brought it into their shop to ask if it could be patched or replaced. I think I caught Travis right when he was walking out but he dropped what he was up to, grabbed my tire and patched it for me right away and got me back to work ASAP. I'm almost positive he was on his way out but he stopped and took care of everything for me until he knew I was taken care of. BRAVO, great service! Thanks. The whole team working was very helpful. I always service here and am always happy with their service of communications. -Robert Hoffman, Albert Lea MN.

My girlfriend recently went in to get her oil fixed cause of a winter weather accident, they fixed that problem but she couldn't get it day of and when she went to get it the next day she could tell her brakes were wrong but that couldn't be right her inspection sheet said all of her brake systems and brake pads had been inspected and they were good. So now a few days later after they took the car back they say that the rotors and brake pads are mysteriously bad and warped and worn down and they have no idea cause when they test drove it they said it was okay and everything was good. My advice avoid this place like the black plague unless you wanna continue to spend an exuberant amount of money for them to continue to make you come back and keep getting repairs. When she picked her car up a mechanic left a big lug wrench in her passenger seat and when she went to give it back all of them started laughing so if i could id give negative stars to this awful dealership do not ever bring your car their for work!!!!!

This is my second vehicle bought there and I have recommended several others who have bought there now as well. Thanks and I look forward to doing more business with you.

I recently purchased a 2020 GMC Denali 3500 truck from Wuerflein and my experience has been one that I will never forget. On my way home to Winona with the truck the check engine light came on so I called Joey (my contact at Wuerflein) and he told me that since they just filled it up with fuel they do that all the time because it is a diesel but it will eventually go off. It did not go off and every time I took it to my hometown dealer to have it cleared it would come back on within an hour. Ended up having to do some hefty warranty work even though the problem was there when I purchased it and they sold it that way anyway. This truck supposedly went through a major inspection prior to being sold but obviously they did not do it or if they did the service department needs to find a different career. A few days later the radiator hose blew off...antifreeze everywhere including the windshield...call Joey at Wuerflein and he blamed my local GMC dealer for not tightening it up after service even though they never touched it for the repair they did but Joey threw them under the bus anyways. I ended up having it towed and spent over $500 to get it back on the road. Wuerflein promised they would take care of it but now will not answer my calls due to me saying I might be talking to our legal counsel to find out my options. We have left two messages for Brian who is a manager who I wrote the check to, two messages for Heidi who is the general manager, and one with the owner amongst a dozen text messages to Joey. None of them will return my calls or messages even though while in the purchasing phase of the vehicle I could get in touch with anybody at the dealer within 1 minute. I will keep calling them and keep trying to get my $500+ out of pocket expenses to get the truck running again. Who knows, maybe this review get their attention. If not I thought I would throw it out there to let other potential customers know how people are treated once they are out the door at Wuerflein Chevrolet Buick GMC of Albert Lea, MN. A tail light guarantee should be their motto...once they see your tail lights leave their lot they forget about you and refuse to answer calls.

Just wow. Brought my truck last August to get 2 new tires for my fronts and an alignment, was told one day by a friendly and very professional Mike Jolly and an estimate no more than $550. Four days later, my front tires were changed but the new back tires put on up front and was told an alignment wasn't done due to a possible oil leak? Refunded the $160 days later but still paid well over $550 despite not having the alignment done. Was also told if tires are purchased, mounting and balancing are free. Was charged 50 bucks per tire despite this and not told about and had to find out Halloween that it was still charged. Now today, because the dry rotted tires that were put up front gave me zero turning ability and stability...I ended up in the ditch this morning before work and there wasn't any ice!! Got it out and called Wuerfline at 745am to get the tires replaced and the alignment that was decided wasn't going to be done months ago because of the oil leak, right? I was told tires were in, alignment would be done and again, balancing and mounting would be free, 199 per tire and I would get a 50 dollar discount for the inconvenience of going in the ditch because of their decision.245pm comes, I'm told everything is done and to come on down whenever. I get there a bit later and was immediately transfered to a Kristal (redhead with a homely/rude demeanor) or something of the sort. I will keep this classy despite being treated and talked extremely disrespectfully and unprofessionally; I was brought to the front desk and the miss then proceeded to tell me I owe almost $700! I remind her of the discount since Mr. Jolly was away and was immediately told that I was lying! "Excuse me!?" I said. "If you want your vehicle today, you owe this amount sir, let's not play these games."I will exclude some dialog out of respect for others that work at this....I don't have words for how I was treated today but I do have the bank statements stating the young miss overcharged me by over $550. I also was not given an invoice or customer receipts but shooed out once I paid.I called one last time asking for the owner or someone who makes the calls around there and was referred to Matt Dugstad. Great...like I want to speak to a known drug user! Left a detailed voicemail and have not recieved a call back. There's several pieces of this story I've omitted out of respect for the Wuerfline family as I went to church with their family back in the 90s-2000s. I also used their auto insurance for many years. Honest, good people but the current employees and their borderline criminal and utterly disrespectful demeanor? Truth in Repair is a real Minnesota State Statute, as well as Theft by Swindle, these people at this dealership must think I enjoy being taken for a fool...let the lawsuits begin! Attourneys General as well as the Better Business Bureau will be notified as well. You'd be a damn fool to purchase a vehicle here! Same goes to get vehicle repaired here, unless you have the money and don't care, quite dim and don't understand the snatch and grab tactics used or just have gotten used to societies moral collapse and take the blatant disrespect from degenerate human beings like the young lady I had to deal with today.

At the end of September we found ourselves stranded at the state park near Albert Lea with a blown return fuel line. I called Wuerflein's service dept late on a Friday afternoon and found out they were open on Saturdays! Got it towed in that night. The next morning Shawn the service rep called and said they diagnosed what we thought was the problem but had to order parts for Monday. Monday arrived but the parts didn't. Tuesday.....and yes the parts were there but once installed, the line kept popping off. These knowledgeable and talented folks then discovered that the reason the line kept blowing had to do with a faulty fuel tank selector valve. WOW!! They tried to order a new valve but it it didn't arrive in time for our departure so they just bypassed the reserve tank and plumbed the line back to the main tank. If you EVER find yourself near Albert Lea, MN and are in need of vehicle repairs, make your first call to Shawn at the Wuerflein service dept. To top it off, Shawn is an honest to goodness Duramax wizard!

Justin and Zach did a fantastic job at answering all of our questions and concerns. Both were very knowledgeable with the vehicle brand and model we were interested in. (Honda pilot). Both were extremely professional at their jobs and were not pushing us to purchase this vehicle, and both stayed well after hours, away from their own families, to figure "numbers" that would work for our budget. 110% would recommend to anyone looking for a quality used car. They had our interests in mind "family and safety". With their confidence, they have made me confident that this purchase was the best decision for my family's safety. Again, would very highly recommend to anyone! Thank you gentlemen for all your hard work and making this all possible for us!

Joey & Zach were awesome to work with during the car buying process! Communication was great, they gave me time to have my own mechanic inspect the vehicle, and the buying process was quick and easy once the car was ready. The car had been a lot of fun to own and drive so far. Thanks again!

I was told I needed a new battery. I asked them to not put it in as I could get it cheaper elsewhere. I drove it home and had it tested and it test fine. I m glad I didn t spend the 342 dollars to have a new one put in. I was feeling like since they were doing a warranty claim they were trying to find other ways to make money off me. Not impressed !! My experience of purchasing was amazing with my salesman and I thought before I left my car to be fixed the service guy had done been great until I got the call that the car was fixed but needed a new battery. Not sure where I will do any more warranty work if I need it but not satisfied with how things went there.

I scheduled an oil change at this location last January. I had moved to the Twin Cities last August, and purchased a car from Vern Eide. As part of their tire program, I had to have my oil change done at one of their service centers, and this location was the closest to me. After my oil change,I decided that it wasn't really worth the 4hr drive for "average" service and the overall cost of driving back and forth for a basic oil change. Therefore, I chose to schedule my next oil change at a location within the Twin Cities (Roseville Ford). The last month or so, my car was making this scraping sound which I thought maybe was a loose belt on the engine after a recent blizzard or from winter weather driving. However, the mechanic informed me that the screws on my skid plate were not properly screwed back on/NOT SCREWED ON AT ALL from a previous oil change (which was done by this location, Chevy of Albert Lea), and this was the source of noise. Due to this error, my skid plate was damaged and it needed to be replaced. I was quoted about $300 to repair the skid plate (with labor), so, I had to call Chevy of Albert Lea to discuss this problem. It took over a week and 4-5 phone calls to come up with a plan to fix this mistake, AND I had to make another 4 hr trip to Albert Lea on my day off (I work 3 jobs, so trying to find "free" time is difficult and a hassle).Even though I appreciate that they repaired the damaged part, at no point did anyone ever apologize nor acknowledge the mistake that was made (hence why I'm giving "2" stars versus "1").It also made the 4hr drive and gas money spent on a 15 minute service even more ridiculous. Two of the three jobs I work at involve customer service, and I know from my personal work experience that this isn't how this situation should have been handled. I cannot recommend this service department, nor do I plan on ever returning here again.

We stopped in a rental car today. Our car felt like it was going to fall apart. They checked for safety issues and diagnosed the problem. They rotated a tire to make the rest of our drive safe and not so bumpy. (No our rental company was no help but that's for a different review) thankyou to Shawn and every other awesome person we talked to there today!!!!!!!!

Great first time experience! We bought a used vehicle from them that had to go through inspection. One of the seatbelt sensors were bad and it took three weeks for them to get the part. During this time, Joey kept us updated at least twice a week as to what was going on with the sensor and also the other minor repairs they were doing during the inspection process. They also completed a couple minor repairs that we requested even though these items weren't included in the inspection. The vehicle was detailed out nicely and they sent us on our way with a full take of fuel. On the day we picked up, computers were not working properly (was affecting all dealerships not just theirs) so all paperwork had to be done by hand. Took a little longer but the outcome was great. Joey and Zach were both attentive and apologized for the inconvenience. Will definitely go back to them if we need another used vehicle. Thanks much guys!Dennis and Becky Kreger

The service technicians were excellent and efficient to get my vehicle in, diagnose the problem and the part arrived earlier than expected. The loaner was nice and reliable too! Excellent service overall, especially when you are not expecting to need it. If you happen to need a new vehicle, want to replace an old one, or just need service on the one you have, this is the place to go. No hassles, just honest service.

Very poor will not recommend this place to any one took my Cadillac there for them to do a diag on my break system and them they fixed the line that was broken was told that the line needed to be done from the front to the back with a BRAND NEW line so ok told them to do that well they spliced the new line onto the old RUSTED line and said they did that because it was already spliced but i was told i was paying for a line from the front to back not for you to connect it to the old rusted line then the line they used looks like my 5 year old learing to do break lines then when brought back for yall to fix it right yall try to say my master has an interal leak but just did a diag on friday and didnt find that ? Funny to me then when your called out you just reply with well we can drop your car and pull it out and when told no your going to fix it free of charge or our money back yall are quick to do a refund and also when pulling it out of the shop to do a test drive pulling out one garage door and driving it around the building to the front is what yall consider test driving it to make sure its safe for a customer? HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I purchased a 2013 Equinox and had an engine issue. I had bought "as is" so knew the issue was probably on me but wrote Ryan just to make him aware. Well an hour later Matt called me and asked when I could bring it is to be looked at. Long story-short they ended up basically rebuilding my engine and they covered it all!! Ryan, Matt and the whole crew went way and above and definitely made my year!! Very highly recommended!!Jim Schneider

GET IT IN WRITING AND WATCH FOR UNAUTHORIZED WORK..... I was out of town and had my car break down in Albert Lea. I had it towed to Wuerflein Chevrolet Dealer, and was relieved when they told me the repairs would be covered by my warranty company. The service people did the repairs and got it on the road for me. I appreciate their hard work, or this would be a one star. The problem I had was when it was being finished. First, they called and told me my brakes were bad and "might make it back to Kansas City". This seemed odd to me since I live in a state that has annual inspections. The state had just measured my brakes to pass the inspection. The bigger issue came when I showed up to pick the car up. I was expecting the $100 warranty deductible, and they handed me a bill for several hundred dollars. They apparently cleaned an area that they said would not be covered by warranty. If it was refused, maybe it is something that should have been included in the over $3000 they charged for the parts install? At no time did they tell me they were doing several hundred dollars of unauthorized "cleaning". I would have asked my mechanic before authorizing it, and could have been more prepared if I had known that charge was added on.Even stranger, the guys would not give me a receipt for the cash I gave them. I don't know a business that is legitimately running and doesn't give receipts, especially for several hundred in cash. Is that normal for Minnesota? My family has been in Albert Lea for over thirty years, and I have never heard of not giving receipts. I don't know if they just don't do that, did they pocket my money, or are they just hiding from #DeptOfRevenue?

Purchased a "certified" used vehicle with very low miles from them and it has been a nightmare from the onset. The sales manager Brian and the Salesman Joey have lied to me throughout the process and should be ashamed of themselves. They give the entire industry a bad name when they conduct business like this. They refuse to stand behind their vehicles that they sell even when still under factory warranty. I have elected to have all of the repairs done at another GM dealership to avoid having to listen to nonsense and flat out lies. I have left 3 messages for Heidi the general manager and have not received a call back. I urge anyone reading this to find another dealership. Look at the other reviews, I am just one of many unhappy customers here. The owners of this dealership should pay close attention to what their employees are doing at this particular dealership. The current staff will continue to drive customers away. I will add to review if they actually try and do the right thing here but I doubt it will happen based on many other reviews. I upgrade every other year with 4 different vehicles, 3 of them being highest trim GM vehicles. Wuerflein had their chance and Heidi, Brian, and Joey blew it.
