Decent store for a small town. I would say it s pretty clean and somewhat organized.There s been times where there s no self checks open and only a few people working the cash registers. And other times it s vice versa, which can get super annoying considering it always happens during a busy time.During one of my trips my group and I decided to get some pants since they were on clearance. Without noticing it hers didn t have the $5 sticker when scanning when ALL the other styles, the exact pattern and different sizes had the $5 sticker. Which is pretty annoying, could ve been the worker missed but makes no sense.Have a pretty decent vegan options that s cheaper than Hyvee. But it seems as if late little problems here and there are adding up. The door greeters are usually friendly and nice.

I came here later in the evening. All the shelves seemed stocked even immediately before a holiday. I picked up a frozen pizza some chips and a chocolate bar. I just needed some late night snacks.The staff was pleasant and the place was clean.The pizza I got was a pepperoni surfer boy pizza. Answer for boy is from the Netflix series stranger things.

Order my son s first birthday smash cake here. I asked for it to look like a snare drum. It turned out so good. Also, can t beat the price right under $15. Another friend ordered one too for a strawberry themed birthday party and it was spot on.

This is the closest place for our monthly grocery haul. The staff are nice that come to load your vehicle, however I've run into several issues with having to return damaged items, or receive a refund for something they did not pick that we paid for. There are more often than not substitutions, and they try their best to upcharge when you opt to replace with the best match.

I had excellent customer service using the automotive department over the last couple of days. I came in with a bad tire and the department with overwhelmed but Fred one of the technicians was very kind and willing to see me the next day first thing in the morning I got there took great care of me it was just very good experience !

completely embarrassed for one of your employees. an older girl sam is so rude. she harasses customers that come in and even followed a women around harassing them all the way to the exit of the store. it s totally ridiculous for an older employee to be acting like that and treating customers that way. definitely will be losing some good customers from this Walmart if she continues to be employed.

Unbelievable that service is so bad this much later than covid restrictions have ended. The online shoppers are rude, they take stuff off the shelves for their carts but will not assist people in the store. Waiting in line to check yourself out at the cash register is ridiculous only to be more aggravated by someone at the door asking to see your receipt. I'm almost 60 years old if I am going to steal something it sure as heck wouldn't be from a place like Wal-Mart.Put your checkers back on the cash registers. Most of your employees are standing around arms folded talking amongst each other anyways. It's a pain to have to go into that store because stock is consistently low or out and the checking out is just a fiasco.

There was a manager working in the lawn and garden area named Tiffany who was acting extremely disrespectful to her employee and was name calling them. I would never want to work with someone like that or for a company who encourages that kind of behavior!

A basic Walmart experience. Aisles seem a bit narrower than at bigger Walmarts leaving me feeling cramped as I try to get around. Store was clean and we moved quickly through the checkout.

I don't mind self checkout but the fact that an employee hovers over your shoulder while you ring stuff up and then wants to see a receipt after they watched me ring up every single item is pretty annoying. What's worse is I don't notice it happen to other customers so seems like I'm being judged imo. I come every week to do shopping for my house and yet I gotta feel like I'm doing something wrong every trip. Wish this small town had more options besides Walmart n Hy-Vee because Walmart is closest to me. But hate the fact that they want me to do their job but ringing up my own stuff but I don't get any employee discount for doing their work n they can't give enough respect to even let me ring my stuff up without being watched like a hawk n treated that way.

Pickup Tires ordered online. Tires need to be (country of origin) labeled on the website. I thought they were made in USA. But find out made in Mexico.

Nick was great at bringing the groceries out. He was polite and courteous. Walmart needs to keep the good workers and promote and not. Loose them

I always love to go to Walmart. This particular store is always so clean and have a wonderful staff. For the past four years that I have loved here they have always had what I needed in stock. Of course they always have their great deals too. Also, their pharmacy has 1$ generics and 3$ for brand names. You just can't beat that price.

Let me paint a picture for you and tell you a story.We are standing in the self check out waiting for somebody to help us. Because of course we bought a knife so we need the lady to approve it.The lady working the self check out was busy checking out somebody else in the self check out. I asked the lady sitting by the door if we could get some help as the line was backing up bad and all we needed was approval to open up another register. She told me she will do it and pointed to the lady who was already super busy.This woman sitting at the door proceeded to just sit and giggle and chit chat with another lady. At some point another employee in a black shirt walked over and joined their conversation.After 5-10 mins, We finally get the help we need and walk past them to leave. I made eye contact with the lady sitting in the chair and said thank you so much for the help while you sat here and chatted with your friends. And we walked out.Another customer that walked out behind us proceeded to get my attention and inform me that I was called a c*nt by the employees.Then I look over and there are 4 employees sitting outside smoking on break.I was originally going to let the experience go and ignore it. However, the c*nt comment caused me to call the store and let them inform them of what the woman decided to out loud call me. And now I will be contacting corporate and letting fb and google know of the experience as well.If this were my job I would have said I m sorry ma am, I m not able to help because I don t have that permission. She will be right with you when she can. I certainly would not have called names out loud where other customers could hear.Look out Walmart employees Amazon is coming for the jobs you don t know how to do.

Went for a simple oil change and now I have to replace my blower motor because they broke a drain on my Air conditioner and water was pouring into the vents. Fried my blower motor. Never again for anything ever. Junk products & service. The auto center is nothing but incompetent. Left a message for the Manager with customer service about my issues. After being disconnected twice. Never even bothered to call back. To bad negative stars isn't an option. Looking at hundreds of dollars in repairs. No AC in the midst of summer heat, thanks Wally World.

We shop at the AL Walmart at least once a week. Most of the people we interact with there seem nice, and I think they are fairly good and keeping their shelves stocked, for the most part.

Was quite annoyed to have found the customer service area closed 30 minutes early one night and fortunately i was able to show a night manager the posted hours of operation online from my phone which subsequently led to the service area being able to open up and help me with out much more than an employee going and using the cash register in that area just like any other time. I know people get eager to go home but closing down an entire department and misleading customers about not being able to do anything for them was a bit condescending nonetheless. All in all it was worked out to me satisfaction.

Stopped at customer service to have them call for someone for paint so I didn t have to wait as long, still walked to the back and waited 20mins even had the store manager a 2 coach s walk by I said something to all of them. Then the lady comes, I just got paint here on the 1st I have a picture of the label I got, wouldn t even look at it to answer her questions she was asking me as I was reading it off the label, then she said are you sure you got it here .yup I m sure

This Wal-Mart is peaceful for browsing, and often offers great clearance items (like glow stick packages for just 10 cents after the 4th of July). It's well organized, and the check-outs run smoothly.It's lacking in a few areas though & they're deal breakers for me...First, and most important, the bathrooms are in desperate need of a deep cleaning or a complete remodel (Yes, they're THAT bad). On multiple visits we've encountered blackened toilets, sinks covered in grime, and filthy bathroom floors.Also, their fitting room is seriously understaffed, always. The one employee usually working in that department is unpleasant and the dressing rooms are filled with clothing from the last person (& probably several people before). Many times it's tough to even find someone to unlock a fitting room, and they never do so joyfully. It's a shame as we outfit SIX people and could help improve their clothing profits greatly if they improved this area.

Look, I get it. People of all walks of life have to shop for basic necessities. But do you really have to look like trailer trash when you go shopping? Can't you take a little bit of pride in your appearance and attempt to wear some decent clothing, or enough to cover your enormous bulges? Please Walmart, institute a freaking dress code!

Do not use the Albert Lea Walmart for delivery they don t show up for three days or throw your groceries behind garages in 100 degree weather to rot and don t seem to have a clue what is going on have had this happen multiple times and it is absolutely ridiculous they take orders for service that they obviously can t not provide and when you call it is an inconvenience to bring you your order days after it is supposed to be delivered

Can never find what you want or need in our Walmart. Very few will help you and the ones filling orders for delivery will run you over with their carts.Took away material, knitting. Very few crafts, pet supplies, and do not bring in enough product of the items that do sell. Often I have bought out dates products. Managers are good if you can find one.I like to shop in town but find myself going to Austin, Owatona or even the cities to get what we need from Walmart.I think because Albert Lea does not have to many choices in stores, they do not step up or care.
