Absolutely thrilled with this road stop! It's a gem for any traveler sparkling clean facilities, excellent restroom amenities, and a wide array of dining choices that include unique local flavors. Additionally, there's a selection of charming gifts perfect for a quick browse. Highly recommend for anyone passing through and in need of a refreshing break. A true five-star experience!

If I could give this place a 10 star rating I would. This is probably been one of the best places I have ever stopped off the highway. The Skol Tavern food was absolutely delicious! I had beef brisket with a habanero sweet spicy sauce on the side. I paired it with their homemade coleslaw that was right on point! It was very creamy and delicious. My soul screams when I am abled to get good food while on the road! I also found some dark chocolate covered espresso beans in their gift shop. I don't find those very many places and I was very excited. It was tempting to get a coffee from their Caribou coffee barista but I had to fight that temptation. They also have a Pizza Hut McDonald's and Taco Bell inside! This is truly a one shop stop!

I could browse this shop for hours!!! SO many cute things here. Friendly service and we found a gem at the fudge counter. Actually 6 gems. Great travel stop! Tons of hot and cold food choices, gifts, fudge, etc. Everyone was super friendly. Bathrooms are clean. And there were even free Christmas treats today!

I just want to thank the cashier tonight for his nice gesture. My wife and I had been having a stressful evening camping fighting issues with our new camper, so we decided to pack and head out last minute with our 3 month old so she could be more comfortable. Before heading out for our 1 hour trip home, I stopped by the Trails Convenience Store to grab a quick fountain drink to help keep me awake. As i was at the counter top pay, since this was all I had, he told me it was on him and to have a great night! I know he didn't realize the stressful evening we were having, but this small gesture was just what I needed to help calm my nerves and in a better mood for our trip home! Thank you to this gentleman and thank you to Trails for hireing such kind workers. I will definitely be stopping by again when in the area!!

Huge truck stop that has an extra parking lot, where they let us park my camper van overnight to get sole needed rest while traveling. Thanks again!

As gas stations/rest stops go, this has to be the nicest one I've encountered. I stop here every time I travel down I-35. Bathrooms are always clean, large gift shop/convenience snack area, several fast food choices and 2 sit-down restaurants (I haven't eaten at either). Cool mural of Vikings near the entrance!

It's fun looking at all the knick-knackery and cool MN related items. Even.if you don't plan to buy anything it is fun just to mosey through the aisles and see what new items you can find

This is one of my regular stops when I'm in the area. The selection of shelf and ethnic Scandinavian & German food and coffee (especially the coffee!) is pretty good. Adjoining this is a McD's, a Coldstone, and a Pizza Hut Express on one side, and Iron Skillet and Sk�l Tavern on the other. The people running or working in the place seem very nice. Not to seem too set against people's beliefs, but my one and only complaint is the schmaltzy Christian music they play throughout most of the place. If I'm eating or using the bathroom for any length of time, I'm usually stuck having to listen to it--LOL! They don't play it in the bar, though, which is kinda funny to me (and appreciated).
