From the moment we stepped in the beautiful historic building we were greeted kindly by the officers. Checking in for the drivers test, Rich welcomed us with a warm, kind smile. Mid-January so road conditions weren t the best, but well worth the drive from Rochester. We had such a positive experience for my daughters drivers test. Thank you!!

I took my test there twice, the first time was ok and the guy was decent but a bit lazy, it was windy and a cone had fallen and was leaning on the vehicle after I parked and he said I hit it, but was fine and took the test a second time, the second time I had a rude instructor, he had so much attitude, I had a preference just in case he light turned red and I had to wait for oncoming traffic so I didn t go into the middle of the intersection, I explained I wanted to be safe than sorry because I could ve gotten fined if I was in the middle of the intersection and the light turning red, he said that s why your getting extra points docked I even stopped before every crosswalk and he put on the paper I needed to learn to stay behind the crosswalk. Unbelievable and was failed the second time as well

I was concerned about getting tabs for my parents vehicles. But I have to say that the transaction was smooth, the clerk was fabulous(I should have got her name), and I was in and out in a jiffy!Thank you for such a quick and easy turn around!

Staff needs to be better educated on what documents are needed for an address change for a new real ID. When making the appointment, I was told a copy of my marriage license was needed. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told a certified copy was needed. I then had to go upstairs to pay for a copy. One month after my appointment, I received a letter in the mail saying my documents showing proof of address were not sufficient. Isn t this something I should ve been told at the time and not a month later?!When I called to inquire what documents were needed, the lady at this DMV was very rude. She proceeded to tell me what documents she tells customers over the phone to bring with. I explained to her that she was not the person I initially spoke with and there needs to be better education within the department. During my appointment, I was shocked at how only half of the staff wore masks

The worst experience ever. When I walked into the building after driving an hour and a half to take my test the lady at the desk was kind, went to wait in my car for to take my road test and then eventually greeted by one of the rudest people I've met. He was aggresive with the directions and does not give you clear instructions. Failed me for petty little things that are decided over personal preferance. Rolled eyes during the parallel park and 90 degree backend. Do not recommend this testing station. Super awful and unreasonable.

Drove all the way from the cities for a road test, and was greeted by a incredibly rude instructor who yelled at me to test my signals instead of saying hello. He was terse with his commands, and gave little instruction during the test. Upon arriving back at the station, thinking I had easily passed the test, the instructor told me I had failed due to one small error. Would not recommend if you want to pass

Unprofessional, disorganized group of people. I'm not sure why these people deal with the general public. The assumption is you fully understand their process when you take the road exam. For instance you need to park your car in one of the three poorly marked parking spaces when you are taking the road test - obviously. Even if I had seen the sign I would not have parked in those spaces, it says reserved for road testing. Reserved for me or the test? At least my daughter passed so I do'nt have to deal with them again.Really looking forward to health care run by the Government.

The ladies that helped me were fantastic! They were polite, knowledgeable and made it a stress free experience. Thank you for making my trip to the DMV a pleasant one.

Very horrible examiners. My son went to this DMV for his driver's license, and had an extremely rude examiner, who lied about what my son did on his road test. Would not recommend this DMV to anyone.

I've always gotten courteous assistance, whether a new Driver's License, Tabs or getting a title transfer completed. Great people!

Think I was first appt of the day, so no waiting. The drivers license clerk was very pleasant and efficient.

Horrible hours and very rude!!! Who closes a license bureau at 330???? Stupid when you have to take a day off just to get a license. Should be able to do it online this day and age

Nothing too out of the ordinary, just your regular old, run of the mill DMVs...you have to pay to wait.
