So like most people who bought boats in the last 3 years, this was my first boat ever. After reading & hearing so many nightmare stories of how many people got taken advantage of in the boat buying boom of 2020-22, my family and I are so grateful to Anchors Aweigh and especially Nancy Neumann for how she treated and handled us being newbies. From the very first phone call I placed to inquire about the 2013 Regal 2100RX to the final signing of the papers, I was treated as if Nancy didn't just want to make this sale and be done. Nancy let it be known that I was joining the same community/club she has long been a part of and she was proud to be the one to open that door for my family and I. She answered every little question I asked when we took the boat on the test drive. Although I had driven boats before, I had never driven one this nice, fast, or expensive. Nancy and her husband, who also came along on the test drive, went over every little detail so that I would be comfortable. She wasn't making a sale, she was building a new relationship. Selling to a customer shouldn't be the goal. Gaining a repeat customer is.Fast forward to yesterday and why despite wanting to write this review for the last 3 years I've finally gotten around to do it. This is the conversation word for word.Me: Hi Nancy how are you? Happy New Year to you! Do you know if I will be getting my boat registration renewal mailed directly to me? I know it came to you the last time.Nancy: Hi John & Happy new year! We only register you the first time and they would go directly to you after that. I bet if you brought your reg sticker to the DMV they can renew you right there at the counter.Me: It's in the boat & the boat is in storage. It's ok, I'll figure something out. Thank You!!Nancy: I can get your registration number and you can go in with that and your DLMe: That would be amazingNancy: I'm not at the office now but I will get that to you tomorrow morning.Me: Thank yo so Much Nancy!11am this morningNancy: Hi John, here is your Hull number and state registration number.Thank you Nancy and Anchors Aweigh for confirming the wonderful decision I made when deciding to buy my first boat from you.

My family s first experience with Anchors Aweigh was back in 2005 when we purchased a new Regal from them. Paul and Nancy are wonderful people to work with. They are trustworthy, dependable and knowledgeable! I would recommend them without hesitation.

Paul and Nancy have been wonderful to work with. We have been going to Anchors Aweigh since 2010 and have purchased, sold and had maintenance done on our boats there. They are straight forward, easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

I bought a boat from them a few years back, that process was great. Last year things started to go down hill. The antenna for my boat was not lowered before transport & javascript:void(0);it broke goign under the gas station canopy, with some arguing it was replaced at no cost to me. Then this year since everything was already a lot more money for winterizing and storage I had them just do the bare minimum for summerizing my boat which was charge the batteries & start the engines. The price to do just that was almost double of what other Mercury dealers were charging, one battery would not charge but they told me it did take a charge. I went to pick up the boat & found a hose that was not connected in the engine area, I thought no big deal & connected it myself. I find out a little later on that there were other things that needed to be done before launching the boat so it would not take on water. I found out about the other items that needed to be done only after I noticed I was taking on water. They told me over the phone what needed to be done & I did everything. To this day the bilge still runs as the boat is still taking on minor amounts of water, I can not use the a/c as the cooling line is not connected & I have no idea where the cooling line is. They stated they did come out to the boat once & found no issues however I have notified them several times since that the boat is still taking on small amounts of water & it has never done that before. With what has happened this year I have realized that if they do not do everything they will not tell you anything & let you figure it out for your self.

Dean is awesome. I took my boat in for repairs and not only did they make it right, Dean called back a week later to see how things were going. Excellent communication through the whole process. Nice !!
