Recently bought a vehicle here. The service was phenomenal. Chris Curtis assisted me and he went above and beyond. He made me feel so welcome and had me driving away in my new van!I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase and top notch customer service. Highly recommended them!

Today I woke up & bought a new camero! It wouldn t have been possible without the wonderful manager, Chris Curtis! This fine gentlemen helped me from the moment I walked in. Very polite, didn t try to play me because I was a woman, if anything, he did the complete opposite! Helped lower my rates, took care of all my needs & concerns before I pulled of the lot. This is by far, the best experience I ve ever had in buying a car. It was such a smooth, honest, quick process. I would recommend this place & Chris a million times over again! & also, he will be there for any car updates or issues I ever encounter & was super efficient working on the vehicle. If you ever doubt your credit, GO HERE! Also, their website was completely up to date with inventory. Go to Ypsi Imports & ask for Chris Curtis; you will not be disappointed!

Definitely one of the worst used car dealers to exist and should be investigated by the state. If you decide to get screwed by buying a vehicle here only blame yourself, tons of other reputable dealers to choose from

I felt quite comfortable with this auto dealership. They were friendly, extremely help and easy to talk with. The smiles were genuine. They made sure everything was in order with the sale, the paperwork and they tried to be as prompt as possible. Great group of people.

I originally came in 2 weeks ago showing interest in a particular vehicle. At the time the key for the vehicle was unavailable. But I came back in a second time it took a long time to locate the key. Finally, the owner just called and had another key made. Which took more time. I spent the entire day trying to get multiple issues resolved with the vehicle. The staff was semi patient with me, but they had one on my last nerve! When the owner called me himself it seemed to be a sign of some turn around in the service. In the end, after him trying to sell me a different vehicle that I did want, I finally got exactly what I wanted. the owner went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. When I first left I didn't feel like I would ever return, nor would I ever refer anybody else. After the excellent service from the owner I would definitely recommend this place. Even with all the problems that I went through the day, was very patient, and sold me exactly what I wanted!

Chris Curtis and the owner are FANTASTIC! I was so discouraged before visiting and meeting with Chris given my situation, but he was very encouraging, supportive, and positive that we could get a deal put together. He took the time to answer every one of my texts and emails and was patient working up numbers of many different vehicles that met my needs/wants to get the deal done. I was not expecting to leave in my new car, but Chris and the owner came up with some creative and flexible financing for me to make it happen! Thank you SO much for helping me during a time of need and taking a huge stress off my plate. I definitely recommend Ypsilanti Import Auto Sales - check out their inventory online and stop in for a visit, I am 100% confident that you will be taken care of.

Awesome place to buy a car!!I would recommend this place to everyone!!We had a deal done in just a couple hrs. After I test drove a car! As a walk in customer without an appointment!! If you know what your doing to help things go smoothly!! Just have it in order and it goes quickly!! Very nice people to work with to get that car you want!!!

Personally I had a great experience with this place. I am probably NOT the easiest person to finance for a few reasons: I work as an independent contractor with Instacart, and my credit isn t the best (it s a slow process to full credit recovery). To add to that I am also a first time car buyer, as in I have never financed a vehicle before.I first approached this dealership because of a prior experience when I bought a Ford with my Dad quite a few years ago. I remembered them being pretty good so I decided to give them a shot. I met with Danny and he assisted me in applying for the finance and everything. Very patient and professional! First time I was informed I needed to raise a little bit more for my down payment and to return after I did. Understandable given my circumstances.Fast forward about two and a half weeks and I came back with the bigger down payment. Things started to look up finally and I test drove a few cars. The Finance Director James was a great help securing me my financing. I appreciated that he was straight forward with the numbers and let me know exactly what I would be able to get into. Again, both him and Danny were extremely helpful and patient with me during my first car buying process.Would recommend to anyone in a similar situation as me, who is looking for a reliable vehicle! Thanks again guys.

Andrew, J Rock and the owner are awesome! My first experience buying a car from them was fantastic and when I started having transmission issues with Jeep, they were quick to have it repaired and file the paperwork with the warranty company. After a year and half I traded the Jeep in and they got me into a 2017 Nissan because I was still having issues with the transmission on the Jeep. These guys are super friendly and very professional. These guys genuinely care about their customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR GETTING A CAR!!!

I went in today to get a new car and left very happy with a car that is perfect for my family! They made sure that my car needs and wants were met and even surpassed. Chris and CJ were great and made sure that it was a very pleasant experience and didn't make me feel pressured or try to upsell me on something I didn't want. 10/10 experience!!!

Been doing business with Ypsilanti imports myself and my family for over 25 years We probably have close to 40 vehicles bought sold during this time. My dad was the Michigan salvage vehicle inspector for years there great relationship with the owner general manager and staff all great people go out of their way to help you and is the most fair and authentic car dealership around, period. I will always do business with these guys They're fantastic and I wish them the best

I will recommend this place to EVERYONE that needs a car; ever! It was difficult because I had never bought a car from the lot. The ignorance that I showered in doing so was taken with more than a grain of salt by my sales person. But he held his tongue and dealt with me ALL DAY. He wasn't pressed to make the sale, he wanted a satisfied customer. I think his name was Chris, and his patience with customers definitely deserves 5 stars. The service department was slow, but VERY knowable. He saved me money on problems I didn't know I had. Getting a call from the owner to make sure my service appointment was going smoothly also goes a long way. All adults, with grown service. It's not about the money, it's about you getting what YOU WANT. I got 95% of what I wanted, and the staff didn't stop till I was 100% satisfied. Mission accomplished!!!

I purchased my vehicle and had a great sales person (j rock) who got me into EXACTLY what i wanted and with the details i asked for. The owner was a even better cherry on top he was genuine and his character seemed honest . I appreciate him taking the time to show me all the things i wouldve even thought twice about worrying about. See you guys in a couple years!

I was referred by a good friend to Danny and JRock. My experience was great (also long so go at 9am if you can) and I left the lot with a 2017 Jeep Compass with low mileage and a warranty same day. Very professional environment. Thank you

Hands down this was THE BEST car buying experience!! They have a huge selection and variety of great cars. Danny and Chris made this process as smooth and easy as they could, they really cared about helping me find a good reliable car ! I will definitely refer anyone I know to them!

J-Rock is one of the best car salesmen I ve went to over the years. He got us right into our 2016 challenger. THE exact one. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. The owner was super awesome too. Couldn t have asked for a better experience! Thank you guys so much

I bought a car from there about a month and a half ago. My sales man name was Samuel ( Sam) like my name. I have purchased many cars in my life time but this was hands down the best experience I have ever had in car buying. Sam was honest, and up front with everything he said. Usually that doesn't happen when Buying a used car so I was really impressed. The car is clean with low miles with a warranty and he got me financed within a few hours. I suggest you go there and ask for Samuel( Sam ) I don't think you will be let down. If you see this Samuel... thanks pal I'll be sending everyone I know to ya.

Came in there with 13,000.00 down for a 21,000.00 truck. Did a credit app. Got called,approved. Called back and payment was 317.00 a month! When I asked the percentage rate, total vehicle cost and who was the finance company all I got was how bad my credit was. I told them that at the start. I lost my job 4 yrs ago and went right into the crapper. I take home 5000.00 to 6000.00 a month now and wanted to start rebuilding my credit. Asked more then once for this info and salesman could only say " I don't know". How do you sell cars and not know anything about the deal,? Needless to say never called back. If they can't knock your head off they don't want you as a customer. As a side note: At 24% including tax, 60 months would be 266.00 a month. So ... what's that say?

Staff is friendly outgoing and hilarious. They will make sure you leave rolling in good wheels. I had Mary. She is sweet funny and she cares. She makes you feel comfortable and does not pressure you into things. I went in looking for a 2011 Cruze and I drove off in a 2017 Hyundai Accent. It s perfect. I did not think that would be possible but they made it happen. If you are looking for a good set of wheels visit Mary.

I just got my car here last week, they're alright. The pricing is pretty good and they have a good selection of cars, but the staff is borderline terrible. I keep having to take my car back to get it fixed and they still haven't done it after 4 trips... I recommend a different mechanic, but the dealer portion is good.

(READ ALL THIS) The worst place ever to buy a car from. Go down the road, This place first of all I drove on an expired paper plate because they did not have my plate until 18 days after i purchased the vehicle. I then found out they sold me a lemon, I found out the cars sub frame is cracked, why would a place sell a car with a cracked sub frame. The owner is a joke they tell you one thing and do another. Since i bought the car in July i have out 1,000.00 dollars in repairs into it. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Another issue i had about this place they gave me the wrong CARFAX when i purchased the vehicle. I found out this because i work at a reliable car dealership and asked them to print me the car fax where i found out that my car was in an accident. they electrical taped my tie rod end so it would stop making the noise "which they fixed" LOL funny right. now I am stuck with this vehicle which i will by the end of my finance terms i will have paid over 10 thousand for a LEMON! After almost a year without a car, i went to a few dealerships that advertise "guaranteed approval" bankruptcy, divorce,repos,and some family losses, i told them up front, THAY APPROVED ME ALRIGHT...for some overpriced cars and some needed wrk or didnt start. And after 2 days i find out my credit was run 14times and they wanted almost 1/2 dwn... when i got to Ypsi Imports i explained my issues and my bad credit.. this was late on a Saturday, Merdod and the finance manager J. Rock explained different options to me and put me in a 2017 car with warranty and even helped get my insurance started , this was all on the following monday morning, they made calls and advocated for me to get me in this car. When all was done we weren't just shaking hands we hugged like family and they thanked me for the business, when their the ones who really helped me to really get on my feet. I'm now a forever customer and will be telling all my family and friends to go there 1st.

Only worried about the sale... they got me into a 2013 LaCrosse which is a great car only to find out that no inspection was ever done. 2 of my tires were bald, the brakes were worn all the way down, the car was never properly detailed, and there is rubbing noise in the front end that no one seems to hear or is able to fix. The owner is very shady and will tell you what you want to hear to shut you up. But once the financing is done and you drive off the lot, its basically F*** the customer. I bought the car in march and have had to bring the car in almost 3 times a month since. Do yourself a favor and dont set yourself up with these scam artist. You can get good financing as WELL as good service elsewhere

I wanted to say thanks to Ypsi imports auto sales. Special thanks to Drew and Chris who together worked my deal out, they were very patient and understanding of my wants and needs.I came into the dealership with a preapproval thru capital one auto financing which I highly recommend to anyone I feel it made the transaction all the way around smoother and saved time. I was backwards on the vehicle I traded my 2009 Mazda 3 (great car just very few options) paying $350 per mo. which I was rather forced to take thru a major local dealership. Drew and Chris made the deal work perfectly once I had decided which way I was certain I wanted to go when I came back to sign the paper work I was propably there a total of 45-50 mins for Chris to get my payoff info do the paperwork and take a down payment.In the end left with very nice 2018 Kia Optima with great features! And only 12,000 miles and 5 year 60,000 mile warranty 100,000 drivetrain warranty from the factory. With payments of only $40.00 more a month than the Mazda.Thank you again Chris, Drew the rest of the staff and owner at Ypsilanti Import Auto Sales, I will be back in the future to get that Challenger!Mark J.

Me and my wife bought a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse back in September of 2015. Chris Curtis was our sales person. We had a great experience buy the car Chris was very help and knowledgeable about the car we where buying. He also was able to get us a second key for the car because all it had was one. We will be doing business here again when we need another car.
