Herb is wonderful! Me and my husband arrived as a walk in, in need of a muffler. Not only was the establishment friendly but also clean! They also were able to offer us financing and got our car fixed that day! I will definitely be spreading the word! Thanks Herb!

Excellent customer service, honest, dependable quality service.Herb always explains in detail each issue found and prioritizes what needs to be addressed and gives an honest timeline.The prices here are very reasonable and he will let you know what you need to drive safely!My car was also ready in a timely manner, even with a walk in emergency service that he told me he couldn't guarantee would be able to be completed same day.I highly recommend coming here!

Herb is the kindest man I have ever dealt with. I had surgery done and my husband got to the car and our tire was flat. We went up there right at close and he was more than happy to help fix our tire even though it made him stay late. He made me feel comfortable while I waited and made sure we both were okay. They fixed our tire in less than 20 minutes. The best experience we could have asked for! If your in the Ypsilanti area this is the place to go! Thank you again!

A shop that still does alignments the old school way with a hunter rim mount system, I was able to get my lifted and oversized tire Subaru finally sorted and aligned. I would recommend these guys to anyone that is having trouble getting their vehicle aligned at typical corporate places like bell tire or Firestone, these guys will do it better, kerry did a wonderful job.

Had a great experience here! The customer service is top tier and Herb is a really nice guy. My biggest fear with auto places is being ripped off and I didn't feel like I was being ripped off at all- I felt the opposite actually! Had to get a new tire cause of a flat and decided to get two new ones since one of my other tires was dangerously bald and the price was surprisingly really affordable. My partner and I will for sure be coming back if we need anything again!

Herb and his team are the best! I can always trust an honest diagnosis when I bring my car to them. Each time they get back to me in a timely matter and clearly explain their findings, options, and costs. Herb honored a part that was in warranty that needed to be replaced. I was very pleased when Herb gave me a list of repairs that were needed but gave me the option of only repairing what was immediately needed to drive safely, letting me know the other repairs could wait for a few more months.

Just had a great experience at Tuffy's! I'm new around here and I've been scared to check out an auto place, but decided to give Tuffy's a try and had a stellar experience! The customer service is great and Herb in particular was really nice to my partner and I. We had to get a new tire because we recently got a flat and it seems like they have a really good range from high performance stuff to affordable stuff. We were able to get a really nice price for two tires (including the service to put them on) which was great. We were relieved to find a really nice auto service center that prioritized quality care and customer service while also being affordable! We'll definitely continue to go here for our future car needs. Really happy with our experience!

Great service, great pricing. Great hardworking staff would recommend to anyone local to give them a look next time you need any auto repairs. They have helped with multiple repairs and issues with my car and has always been taken care of without additional problems.

Recently, I had a flat tire and was in tight bind time wise. It was nearing the end of the day and I really needed to get my tire patched and plugged. I called Tuffy Auto and with a bit of convincing on my part , they got me in and out in under an hour. Thanks for being accommodating and offering great service at a fair price.

Got an appointment for my brakes and they were able to have it done the next day! Herb answered all of my questions honestly and explained everything that needed done immediately vs in a few months. Genuinely felt like they love what they do and aren't just out to upcharge. Sad I didn't try them out sooner!

I have had nothing but good experiences here! Herb and his staff are honest people, who are willing to work with you! They have provided phenomenal services, and do everything they can to make sure you are taken care of. I can not recommend them enough!! Will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

Took my car in after a roadtrip to get checked out, and had amazing service. Car was taken good care of, and was checked for future problems with great advice on how to prevent them. Overall fair price and good service. I will be coming back again.

Went there for my first car repair. My car is about 10 years old and the exhaust pipe came apart from the muffler. I went in and talked to a dude named Herb . He took a look at the car and said that the exhaust section from the muffler to not even the catalytic converter needed to be replaced as a result of rust, along with the whole muffler itself. He said he was going to charge me $1,100. Wanted someone else to look at it so I took it there and they said that the only thing that was rusted was a connector piece to the muffler (I paid for it there and it only cost me $60). Herb tried to sell me a whole stainless steel performance exhaust cat back, and took advantage of my inexperience with cars. The other mechanic I went to even said that it was a good idea I looked somewhere else because my actual exhaust wasn t rusted at all (which Herb claimed it was). Never going back again, don t go here or else you ll get scammed.

Working with Tuffy has been the best car service experience I ve ever had. We ve taken our cars there 3 times and they ve been quick and the job was done well. The staff is also friendly which is a huge bonus. I ve found my car guy And won t be going anywhere else.

HelIo recommend Tuffys to anyone with a vehicle. They treated me like family not a customer. I was referred to Herb at Tuffy specifically by one of my colleagues at the Ann Arbor Economic Club. My experiences with auto repair shops was frustrating until the day I starting working with Herb. Now I can honestly say I don t stress about vehicle maintenance and repair. Herb is efficient and thorough. He keeps me informed about what to expect as my car ages. I personally recommend this service centre because they provided very great service, I got an issue with my car's rear tyre blow got reduced and I thought that was punctured. I take my car to Tuffy's service centre and they really helped a lot and they explained the reason very effectively because they checked it very carefully, then they provided their best service and I feel this is the best service centre in the town. Undoubtedly you can visit their centre if you get into any issue with your car.Thank's a lot Tuffy's service centre, wish you good luck and keep going.

Tuffy's tire and auto service is by far the best car repair shop in the area. The manager is amazing and will try to fit you in if you have a emergency if they can. The rest of the team is so welcoming and knows their cars. I definitely recommend this shop above all the others. If you need amazing work and caring people go Herr.

Was given a quote on the phone for an oil change for $69 and when I mentioned the $10 off coupon online, he said that would work with that. I was expecting to pay $59 plus taxes for the oil change. Spoke with a different worker after the oil change and he charged me $78. When I told him about the price difference, he said this was already with a $25 discount he added on for me. This is too shady. Won t be going back.Service: Oil change
