My child s tire fell off her car. This service center was recommended. Being a distance from there always brings up worries, Mussa and Moe were amazing to work with. They were kind, fair and efficient. The car was ready by Friday morning (1 day turnaround). I would highly recommend them!

Went for a car repair on my older car. They fix the problem but the part was bad. They replaced it again free of charge. Also did extra work for me. You don't find that kind of care at many places. I recommend Standard auto center. Thank you Moe and employees.

Solid family, solid gas prices, and they do great with repairs. Brought my vehicle in for coolant issues and they were able to get it done for me, same day, in a timely manner

Was told by 2 others that they couldn't do the brake work, but they quoted me over $2,000 for front end work. I decided to find someone who could do it all. I hit the jackpot with Standard! Not only did he do the work in a timely manner but he did it all, brakes, and front end, for almost $500 less than just the front end work! Honest good work is hard to find today, but Standard delivers!

I didn't get ny car serviced here the second time. Just the inspection so I knew what I was working with. I was horrified to find my hood not properly closed while driving down 94 and it started aggressively bouncing. Thankfully it didn't unlatch into my windshield but based on that scare I can't see coming back of this is how they treat the car before even working on it

I HIGHLY recommend this shop! Moe and the whole team are very honest, reliable and trustworthy. As a woman, I can say they are always very respectful and patient. They explain everything. My vehicle has never sat for days because these guys work fast and yet they are thorough. Repair work was always completed by the time/day given.I have been going to them for over a year. I will not take my vehicles to anyone else. Their prices are very reasonable.I recently purchased a truck from this shop and the experience was extremely positive. The vehicle was "clean", beautiful inside and out. I had a question regarding something minor and Moe took care of it immediately (before I made the purchase) and he gave me a warranty. I have complete confidence in all of the guys at the Standard Auto Service Center.

I had a nail/screw embedded in my tire and needed it fixed fast and these guys at Standard Auto Repair on WashtenawAve in Ypsilanti repaired with out an appointment within 15 minutes. Friendly and professional technicians. High recommend this place.Service: TiresService: Tires

These guys were extremely helpful. I work as a pizza delivery driver and I have an older car. As I was going out on my first delivery of the day my ball joint fell out and I had to have quick service in order to get back on the road. The tow truck driver recommended this place so I took his word for it. When I arrived, I told the mechanic that I was pretty sure I need a new ball joint and he told me he would look at it and give me a call right back. Within 45 minutes I was called back and told that the problem was actually my axle and that the ball joints were fine. Many mechanics would have told me to change the axle and looked for a way to try and make me think I needed new ball joints too, but not this guy, he was honest. He gave me a good price estimate and the car was done within an hour and a half after I got the call back and I was back on the road. I would highly recommend this place to anyone due to the great service. I will be bringing my car back for anything I need.

I had an issue with my car and first called the dealer who said that I will be charged $ 125 just to look at it and tell me what was wrong and that I would have to leave the car there for a day. I called this place, talked to the owner who looked at my car within few hours and inspected the car while I was waiting in his shop. Within an hour I was told that there is nothing wrong with the car and that the car is safe to drive. The owner was very professional, kind, and honest. He did not charge me anything saying that there was nothing wrong with the car. I have been to this place multiple times in the past as well and received same level of service all the times. I will highly recommend this place.

Both my wife and I have used Standard Auto multiple times for car repairs. They are always friendly, quick, and cheaper than other repair shops. Their customer service is excellent, always polite and my wife never feels like they treat her differently than anyone else.Aside from that, their gas prices are usually the best around. We recommend them to our friends and anyone else in the area.

My family and I have been getting our cars worked on for years. This time I had all my tires changed and when done I was charged $20 less than he quoted. DON'T let a few bad eggs ( people that want work done for free) make you not go here. The owner is a GOOD MAN!!!

All of the guys at this shop are incredible and went above and beyond with my car. After fixing it a sensor kept going off and they took the time out of their week to make sure it was fixed at no extra charge. The owner here is a con artist and is extremely condescending and unprofessional. I went out of my way to go to this gas station for the prices. I was finishing up my payment at pump number 5 and hit the button for REGULAR twice. I turned around and placed the pump into my tank. When I look up to look at the pricing, something seemed off. I looked down and realized that I was being charged for ULTIMATE. I stopped the pump immediately and went inside to report and explain the situation. The polite cashier told me that he would get his manager.The manager comes out and is already defensive right off the bat. I explain what happened and he pushes the blame all off on me. Even after I had told him that I had paid for REGULAR gas and some how the pump ended up still charging me for ULTIMATE. In so many words, this pathetic man, in so many words, calls me stupid and implies that I don't know how to use a gas pump. Instead of apologizing and offering to put my payment towards the selection of gas that I intended to pay for, he decides to just throw his hand and walk away after I questioned his claim that the pump had just been inspected. In short, I'd avoid this man and any parts of his business at all costs. He's a con artist. He admitted that this has happened multiple times to several different people and still the problem persists.

My car wasn't starting, wasn't sure why. They accepted my car on a very busy day and I had it back within 2 business days with a new starter and battery. Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, quick, polite, and honest staff. I'd highly recommend them.

Best job ever. Very experienced. Cheapest in town. Always refer friends to them. Musa and the team are wonderful people. Always give me the right price and never procrastinate on my vehicle. 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

It is so sad to say but the Staff is friendly, kind, and respectful but the Owner (Moe) is the WORST. He is rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, tactless, and need to definitely take lessons from his Staff. I stopped to get gas using my Debit Card and the Cashier charged the wrong pump. The Cashier came out to apologize, etc. and said the money would be refunded in 24 hours to my account. He referred me to the WORST Owner (Moe) ever. It is imperative that the Owner (Moe) needs to take lessons in Business Professionalism, Customer Service, Respect, Courtesy, and Kindness.

Warning, I was wrongfully charged $50 for towing. This repair shop markets free tow with major repairs. My car needed major repairs and I still had to pay for towing. They never called me or responded to my emails about the status of my car, but when I called they said they were going to start charging me for storage of my vehichle, but didnt even tell me how much or pre warn me. The man who answers for there service department is extremely unproffesional. He blew up on me when I questioned his pricing and marketing. All I said was "I will have to speak to my lawyer about how he was trying to wrongfully charge me." He replied by saying "I dont care call your dancer call anybody, but if I dont receive my money im charging you for storage" and then he hung up on me. He never told me how much the storage would be or called me for a status update on my vehichle.

Went in to get my brakes done turns out it was one caliber on one side that was broke or something and roders how ever ; I feel like I was over charged by A LOT because I didn t even get the whole thing done 411for just the rear is some real BS I was charged 140 for the labor for parts that were 60 , 90 &30 the brakes are okay they aren t like new ; I think theirs too much hype around this place however definitely if you want quality while saving probably go somewhere else . :) update so I look at my breaks and they didn t change one one I got charged all that money and it can t be made up it s basically extremely rusty compared to the other ones DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL GET OVER ON YOU

I know both mechanics by name. Be honest with them and they will be helpful. They charge a very fair hourly rate for labor. The only thing they don't do is transmission work.
