Horrible place to get your car fixed total rip off. They tried to charge me 1700$ to change a radiator in my 2013 truck. After paying over 2000$ on over heating issues. Car was taken there 3 times for same issue in the course of 3 months. Manager has a very nasty attitude towards women when they question him on pricing. List goes on. They need there old management back or they won t be in business much longer.

This business is not honest. They told me I needed tire and I had tires sent to the business. I had them installed the tires. They broke a tire sensor which made my tpms light come on. The new tire started making noise and when I took my car back to the business they said I needed all kinds of repairs.They told me my Transmission fluid was low and I took my car to Honda and they said my fluid fine. I had Honda dealership put my car their machine and none of what they said I need didn t show up. My husband paid they 3000.00 dollars to take a service engine light off his car and it is still on. These people are not to be trusted.

Very considerate and friendly. Completed the repair and also did a full inspection and showed me other things that needed repair based on safety and function. Felt like a family environment there, employees were hustling and working hard.

I would not go here if your life depended on it. The owner Tamer would not let me use the bathroom after I asked him if I could. This was my first time at his place of business. I am a new resident of the Ypsilanti area and was looking for reasonable car care to build a relationship with. I went in for an oil change and Barra took all of my information down, including my address. I was flabbergasted at the fact that Tamer obliged to do business with me but did not let me use the restroom. After I tried to explain that I was a paying customer, he still would not accommodate. He was also trying to charge me $185 dollars to change a simple headlight bulb that could only cost about $40 bucks when in comparison to other businesses. He wanted to charge $125 to do a diagnostics on a check engine light. He is not giving at all and does NOT work with you. It really seems like all he wants to do is take your money. I would never do business with this place again just off the simple fact, it has poor customer service. Advice: We spend a lot of money to tend to our cars. We shouldn t have to worry that we cannot use the bathroom when we are there. I want to feel valued and respected as a customer. At this place you will not feel this way at all.Overall, It was a HORRIBLE experience because he did not make me feel welcomed or comfortable. DO NOT spend your hard earned money or do business here. Tamer does not care.

A devil cut me off today on ecorse rd which in turn made me run into the median in front of ypsi-connected school. Blew my rim and tire . So I came to the first shop I seen and which was Quality Auto Repair. I asked him if he could change my demolished tire with the spare I had in the back he was more than happy to change it for me. When it was all done I asked how much I owed him and he said nothing but a good word. So I m writing this review to tell everyone there s not people like this anymore. That was a blessing from Allah. And may He bless his family and his hands to get all the best business that is available. I m definitely coming here the next time I need a repair.Thanks good soul we need more like you in the earth.

This is the absolute BEST auto repair shop! In just the last year, I have visited Quality Auto Repair on two occasions. In each instance, I was having tire leak issues. The first time I visited Quality Auto Repair, they had me in-and-out in less than an hour for a tire replacement. The second visit only required a patch and it only took HALF AN HOUR. What makes me even happier as a customer is that I was shown where the tear was located on each tire. This gave me peace of mind. I also found the prices for the services provided to be very reasonable.If you are looking for an independently owned and operated establishment in Ypsilanti that provides fast service and fair prices, you should consider Quality Auto Repair! I'm a disabled woman that came in there because I was sold on the positive Google reviews & The man that answered (tamer) sounded extremely pleasant and trustworthy. They called me a couple hours after I dropped it off and ultimately told me that my was car couldn't be worked on because of rust. Still charged me $125 for a "diagnostic" but really never diagnosed anything due to the "obvious" rust. I took it another mechanic who is currently replacing the wheel bearing that I originally took it there for & for more reasonable cost. Would not recommend!! And be prepared to pay even if they don't do a thing!

Do not recommend people come here except for easy, basic maintenance.Our regular mechanic was unavailable so came here based on recommendations. Our car needed some extensive work in a short amount of time and they were one of the few that could do it. Naji (front desk guy) was very helpful and the customer service was quite good. But that's where anything positive ends. After the repairs of the obvious issues, we noticed new issue and brought it up to them. They dismissed us saying it was something completely different. We had to drive our car long distance not knowing if our car would breakdown again. We took it to our mechanic when they were finally available and they said that the part Quality Auto put in was the problem and they likely damaged the connecting piece because they forced it in there when it should have slid in, likely leading to long term repairs costing thousands of dollars.The mechanics, while nice, do not know what they are doing and I would dissuade anyone from coming here for any repairs unless it's an oil change or something equally as simple. 2 stars for Naji/customer service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have repaired my cars for years up to engine rebuilds and I have always been unsure about someone doing work for me but with all the new equipment required to diagnose issues I thought I would try someone to do the work required. I was pleased with the professionalism of the owner as well as his clear layout of pricing for the work involved. The work came in to quote..no surprises and what was done fixed the issues that I wanted corrected. Honest pricing and fast, reliable work. Wouldn't go anywhere else in town. When I was ready to get my car towed to them, they sent me to the dealer saying I had a recall issue and that it would be free there. They were right! Taking all my cars here from now on.

We come here for routine oil changes and such, but recently took my car in after my first accident. They got everything fixed up super quick and the customer service is just amazing. These guys really make you feel welcome and taken care of. Not to mention trustworthy! So happy to have my car back and everything looks great!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Quality Auto Repair was able to get me in for a tire plug quickly when 2 other places I called said they couldn't until next week. I was in and out for a reasonable price in less than an hour, and they were super nice about it. I'd gladly come back!

I have been fortunate not to have had auto repairs lately. Costs have gone up as has the amount of time it takes to get repairs done. Be prepared for both. They do a good job, so they are busy. Be prepared to not have your vehicle back soon. I did think the work was done well though.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Don t use this business, take your money somewhere else. He s dishonest, he will give you a fake diagnostic, and will keep your vehicle hostage if you want a second opinion , he will charge you for these made up diagnostics.He told me that my transmission needed to be replaced completely, and that the warranty will not cover it, bc he thinks it was a driver fault. Then he asks me to pay him 4500 for a used transmission.I refused, and took the car to a transmission place, and they checked it for free, and realized that the transmission was fine, and I just needed a new transfer case.By the way the warranty never had issues with honoring my claim. Unlike what this shop tried to misdirect.Don t do business with them. These guys are great! Omar and crew are always kind, knowledgeable, and willing to work hard to figure out the best, most affordable solution for your auto. I ve been taking my cars to them for over a decade. Good people, good service. I trust them. Many times I have had my car there and the final cost was lower than I had expected. They always tell me what needs fixing urgently and what can wait. That tells me they aren t just trying to upsell me. Last summer my heater core hoses cluster blew up and those particular parts are no longer available for my old car. Omar took his time, carefully rebuilding the whole cluster of hoses and it s been running great ever since.

Very friendly and honest. Go out of way to make sure your vehicle is safe and working correctly. They keep you informed as to what is happening with the repairs. Second time took tok check noise said tie rods bad. Tie rods wouldn't make the noise. When got car back noise now gone but they said nothing about tightening anything. Also bumper had scratch as I'd had hit something.

I love coming here! Tamer and his team look out for me and my safety. They show me the issues with the car whenever possible and Tamer gave me some significant financial breaks when I needed it. 10/10. plus he lets my dog come say hello as well. Had an issue of over a week trying to get my headlight changed! Everyone either couldn t do it or charged a ton. Quality auto got me in the same day, awesome prices and I was out in under and hour. Very friendly, professional staff, I ll be going back next week for an oil change and additional repairs! Highly recommend.

I have mixed feelings. Customer service was GREAT, everyone spoke, everyone was friendly, they kept me updated about what was going on and even called me in so he could show me what the problem was with my car. My problem first came when he told me that the repairs would be $900 for me to pick up my car and it s $150 more (i wouldn t have gotten it fixed if I had known that). Secondly, I had my car back for two days and it started doing the same thing that I originally took the car in for after being told that the problem was fixed. After calling the man told me oh it may be the radiator but it was fine when we had it mind you , he told me he checked the radiator and told me it was in good condition . Now I feel like I wasted $1000 and now I have to come out of at least $400 more to fix the real problem.Service: Electrical repair

Tamer was able to get my vehicle in last minute when other shops were at least a week out. Was straight up with prices and time frame of repairs. All the staff was friendly as well. It's never a good feeling when you have to get your car towed in to a repair shop, but everything about my experience with Quality Auto has been so positive that I was actually happy they were taking care of the problems on my car by the end. From the start, they were incredibly understanding and respectful of the fact that I could only consider getting immediate repairs done for now and didn't try to change my mind about that at any point. They looked at my car on a Saturday and told me they'd have to order a part for it to come in on Monday, which was perfectly acceptable for me, but then they called back to say they got the part themselves and finished the work in the same day!! They were honest about my car's condition (it's not great) but given that they stuck to only fixing the most immediate issues now, I trust them, and I know for sure that I will bring my car back to them down the road when those other issues come to a head. Finding a place you can trust with car repairs can be intimidating and frustrating, but I am convinced these reviews are the real thing and I'm so happy I chose Quality Auto to fix my car! Word-of-mouth reviews are usually what I rely on for things like this so I've been telling everyone I know about my positive experience, but hopefully this review will convince you that this is a good choice too!
