they did a ton of stuff to my 2008 f150.Awesome job. So glad I found a shop that just does the work they say they will. Doesn't matter the cost to me. Just fix what needs fixing. thanks guys. Would recommend and will absolutely go back.

Excellent and honest automobile work. Fixed my husband's black hummer two times. Did an great job both times and now look forward to taking my dad's 1995 Chevy Silverado there. Highly recommend

There is a wait because they are honest, fair, do the job right the first time & they back it up. Father owns business & son helps him. Wish we had found them years ago. Located right in Ypsilanti - accepts check, credit card and cash

While I did not have Mark work on any of my vehicles, I feel compelled to let others know of a recent interaction I had with the owner of this business which speaks to his character and mirrors many of the glowing reviews he has been given by others. My friend and I recently purchased a used snowmobile from Mark (1998 ski-doo we planned on using for ice fishing). Mark showed us the sled, started it up, explained a few things about it and we gave him his full asking price. When we used the sled for the first time, it gave us problems getting started (Mark mentioned it was cold blooded). We decided to have it looked at by a mechanic, and he found that the engine had some major issues which were likely present prior to us purchasing the sled from Mark. We were upset, but prepared to chalk it up to a $1600 mistake and move on. Mark has zero responsibility to us at this point, as it was an "as is" sale, but since I felt like we did a deal with a good ol fashioned honest businessman, I called Mark and told him what had happened with the sled we bought from him. While Mark was surprised, he was happy to reach out to our snowmobile mechanic and discuss things mechanic to mechanic. At the end of the day, Mark called back and repeatedly expressed how badly he felt about the whole deal, and ultimately refunded us a good portion of the purchase price. I can't speak to how good of a mechanic Mark is, but I can say that I am confident you will be treated fairly and honestly when you bring work to this shop. Thanks, Mark, for being a stand up guy and an honest businessman.

I ve brung my Escalade to him countless times. Invested 5k and it runs better than ever. Even fixed my front seat when the rail jammed included with what I ve invested with Longs. Best shop around. My wife and I have been taking our vehicles there for a few years and they have been great. Best prices in town and they work with you to figure out whats best within your budget instead of trying to sell you all the bells and whistles. A little busy but worth it!

Mark Long is an honest and reliable mechanic. He has worked on our cars for years. He will not try to up sell you he will just fix your vehicle.

Best place in town for car repairs. I have an older car with some major issues. Had 2 out of 3 sensors replaced. Took it recently had the 3rd sensory replaced and because the car is so old with other problems the owner bless his heart gave me the 3rd sensor as a Christmas gift. Thank you Longs Automotive

Always honest and upfront about cost of repairs- have never scammed me into doing more than is necessary. My car broke down 5 miles after i had bought it so i took it to LONGS. They replaced serpentine belt and tensioner at a good price. Decided to take my new used car up to get a total check over. LONGS said i didn't need anything....NO UPCHARGES. HONEST RELIABLE AND PEOPLE WITH INTEGRITY THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I needed 1 bleeder valve bled out, you guys told me $110 for all 4 or $100 for just the 1. So 3 valve's cost 10$ and the 1 i need done cost $100. Your pricing makes no sense. If you had told me all 4 were 400 and 1 was 100, then I may have brought it in still. Even if you value your time as more than other shops, have prices that make sense. It just feels like your robbing people when your prices make no sense it all. Facebook mechanic's got me for $40!

Mark "As Honest as the Day Is" Long fixed my car when two other mechanics we're stumped as to what the problem was. Great service and I have been going to him for 6+ years now.

I brought my son's car here to be looked at because it will randomly not start. I appreciate the honest work that is done here and that I have a place I trust to take my vehicles. It is hard to find these days.

These people are flat out crooks. Charged me $380.00 dollars to put a starter on, I called budget and they said they would have done it for $120.00 So now i deal with budget auto repair in Romulus, they are very nice people.

We went here for the convenient location but will be going elsewhere now. I have spent over $2000 here and on our last visit, I sent in a complaint for the charges compared to what was done. It's not like it was our first visit, no parts were required, it was totally for labor. The response I got back from the owner was condescending ("I hope you understand what I've just said") and disrespectful. Apparentally, you only get good service here if you don't question him. Very disappointing.
