My daughter took her Ford Escape here for an oil change. The following day, while she drove on the freeway, her engine began smoking and her car shut down. We had it towed to the Ford dealership, which found that the oil filter was not attached correctly, leading to all the oil leaking out. So far, owner has been putting up resistance to taking responsibility. I intend to make a complaint to the BBB as well. *To clarify some points raised in others' reviews, according to official records, "Chris" is not the owner of this business. The owner is Mohammed Mouzahem of Dearborn Heights, so it's not actually a "local business."

I highly recommend this spot! Stopped in today and the service was great! I found out Chris, the owner, was a classmate of mine and I loved it even more. Great, fast, friendly service and cheaper than the dealership. I will be making this my regular spot. Support local!!

Normally I don t leave reviews but I was so pleased with this place I couldn t help myself. First time going there. They hook you up, get it done quick, super friendly and all at a good price. They have gained a loyal customer from this experience

Forgot to put one of my two oil gaskets on, blew my whole engine out two days later without even driving it the day after and now owner is fighting to make things right. Please do not risk your car by coming here and cheaping out on an oil change.

The two gentlemen that were here on 2022-06-18 were awesome! They were both quite friendly and very professional. My oil change took practically no time and they let me know of a minor problem to get fixed once I got home to Illinois.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

It was a very pleasant experience it was my first time going here. My father needed a oil change and it was close by. The only troubling thing to me was seeing the technician under the car next to me with a cigarette in his mouth. Other than that all the workers were very polite and efficient. We were in an out within 20 minutes.

Very friendly and honest. My husband had just had it in but the oil light was on took it in they had just forgot to reset the oil life back to 100 reset it and didn't charge me unlike other oil shops. Thanks guys. Would highly recommend getting your oil changed here

So the price was low Bit come to find out they ripped me off put good oil over bad oil over filled my fluid also with a flush N fill than got slick been billing my debit card for services I didn t have sooo never again!! Good part it s against the law n they will see me in court!! Sad how u support black owned businesses but they dust you techs not certified at all!! I knew when he said 38.00 dollars and my car take 7 quarts of oil it was something wrong!! Yes they kind but real slime!!! See y all in court!!!

I was 2 quarts low (According to the guys at the shop) and I knew something was wrong when leaving a job site as my car does make noise when the oil is low. I went to google places for oil changes and this place was right where I was when I noticed it. The 2 guys that where there was absolutely amazing. It was a quick service and it was nice to have someone to chat with and make it a remarkable visit. If I am in town again and need an oil change this will be my stopService: Oil change

Honestly super kind, funny, and knowledgeable men here. I usually get anxious going to get my oil changed being a women. They didn t try to upcharge me for services and were very reasonably priced. They showed me my dip stick before changing my oil. The oil was still brown and looked clean, so they wanted to make sure that I still wanted it changed. Since it was 3,000 miles since the last change I went ahead and had them changed it. But, how many places potentially turn down the quick buck to ensure total customer satisfaction? That is GREAT customer service!

I called to get a price and was very clear of the make and model and the type of oil I needed they said a price that I was satisfied with i pulled in and even before I let them do the work I asked again they said the same price. Now it gets to the payment and they tell me 30$ more than what they quoted me at. Unprofessional not to mention a male pulled up after me and they worked on him first and got him out the door before me! If you are a lady stay away from this place!

Service reps weren't very friendly. They clearly don't know how much oil goes into each vehicle. They also put air in your tires but be extremely cautious as they do not check the proper PSI for your specific vehicle and will likely overinflate your tires. I wouldn't recommend bringing your vehicle here. My cars tires need 30psi and they had my back tires at 36 and the front at 34. Very shady business.

They seemed to have good customer service here, and they did quick work. However, they put the wrong kind of oil in my wife's car and over filled it by nearly 2 quarts. And I am pretty sure they removed my air filter to upsell me one. We don't plan on returning.

Went here for the first time to get my oil changed and they were very quick and professional. Good prices and they're the only place I've gone to that didn't try selling me stuff that I didn't need.Turns out when they were finished they didn't tighten something all the way on the bottom of my car and later that night it started dragging, making a loud, worrying noise. Went back the next day and they tightened/fixed it (for free of course) and were very apologetic. I don't feel they deserve a lower rating after everything else was 5 star worthy just for a momentary brain lapse. Happens to the best of us and no harm done. Will go here again.

Quick and helpful most times. Once a guy missed an important step that caused all my oil to run out but i took it back and they fixed it. I haven't had any other issues since then. Overall a good place

Quick and easy service, very polite employees. Only took one star off because they asked me what type of oil I wanted, I hoped they would recommend to me which type I should get. I just went with whatever I had gotten last time! But I loved that I drove right in and didn't have to wait.

This is my new favorite oil change. They are quick and honest. They did not try to upsell me and their prices are better than anything I could find where I used to live in Grand Rapids. I will keep coming back and you should too.

This is my favorite place to go for an oil change! The guys are nice and respectful! My favorite thing is they don't push things like the air filters and wiper blades if you say no! I really hate when oil places do that.. Good affordable place to get an oil change!

I have used this service for years with no problems, so I sent my mother there when she came to visit and they put oil in her car without draining the old oil. It overflowed into her engin and cause her car to overheat and break down on the highway later that night. AAA towed it to her dealer. They fixed the problem for over $400. When she took the paperwork from the dealer to them less than a week later they refused to cover the repair fees. They only offered to refund the charge of the oil change. Their excuse was that she should have brought the car back to them for repair. (read the fine print on the invoice)That makes no sense because first off they were closed when the car broke down at 11:00 PM and secondly, she had no way of knowing what the problem was initially. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!Service: Oil change

I am about to change my car s oil somewhere else now and I just remembered that on 12/21/2017 I had my first oil change here. The guy removed the air filter (almost new) and tried to upsell me a new one! I regret why I didn t tell him, I don t want it. He charged me $54.26 only for oil change. I won t be back here for sure.

On 1/24/2015 I called for an oil change price and was quoted $19.85. So I had my daughter take her car in for an oil change. When she came home and she tells me that the oil change cost $43.30. So I called and spoke to someone that refused to say his name. I asked why my daughter was charged $43 when I was told it was $19.85 The oil exchange employee states that he asked my daughter which oil she wanted and she told him to put the High mileage oil. I then asked I asked the oil change employee if he explained to my daughter that it was an extra price for the High mileage oil? His only reply was I asked your daughter what oil she wanted. The whole issue is, I was told one price and was charged another. If The oil exchange employee would have simply told the truth and that the High mileage oil was an extra price there would be no issue.Lesson learned:Never go back to The oil exchange in Canton MI. Reason untruthful employee s usually means untruthful management and or owners.

They use deluded oil during my oil change 2 days later my car went down. This is the second time at this location I've gone there both times my cars had problems within a weeks time. Wouldn't recommend using there standard oil for an oil change.

While it doesn't look like much, this is the best place in Ypsi for an oil change. The same perso. Has been running it for years and you can tell he cares. Always quick and professional.

Every time i go to this place its a different charge. Last time, it was oh, you didnt come in for the early bird, this last time it was well over what i paid as i have the receipt from my last visit. Then he tries to get me to change my filter for $19.99 and i went to autozone and got the same filter for $11.99 and did it myself. I wont be back.

If you don t mind having oil stains and spills all over your engine then this place is ok. They did such a dirty job replacing the oil on my car. My car smelled like engine oil for weeks due to not using funnel when they added oil. Not going back to them for sure.
