These guys are awesome! I needed a catalytic converter shield installed and they did without charging me and arm and a leg. The mechanic was prompt, honest, upfront and not pushy when offering additional services. I'll definitely be having them soon for my car maintenance needs

These guys are as good as it gets honestly. I can't believe how easy it was, how CONVENIENT it was rather than lugging around my tires to a shop, wasting over 3 hours round trip and gas, than to just have the Fiix guys come to my house, and actually do it while I WAS SAVING TIME doing errands nearby! Will 100% use these guys for every season for every car I ultimately have. Keep up the great idea!

Top-notch car repair! The mechanic restored my car to showroom quality, even in unfavorable weather. His attention to detail and dedication to his craft were evident. I have had Goodhood of Ypsilanti do my car repairs on a couple occasions and every time they have delivered an amazing result. I cannot fault them at all and highly recommend them. The Technician that came to do the work today did a fantastic job, if I could rate 10 stars I would. Thank you.

I reached out to Goodhood with help reattaching a steering column on my car. Went above and beyond to help me out with my engine. Very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic with a great work ethic and affordable pricing. Highly recommend this business for mobile repairs.

Tobias was my mechanic. He was super nice and knowledgeable. My car was up and running by the end of the next day after sitting in my driveway for 2 months because I wasn't sure what was wrong with it but couldn't drive it to a shop. The diagnostic service is extremely well priced as well, every shop within 5 miles of me quoted me $120-$180 just to look at it, not even fix it but good hood only charges $90. I also didn't feel pressured into any services I didn't want. I'm seriously considering joining the membership program as well because of how great of a deal it is. If you're looking for fair, honest, and kind mechanics, GoodHood is the service to use! :)

This was my first time using Goodhood, it was great they came to my house and diagnosed the problem got the parts and installed them. Better than going and waiting in waiting room behind other vehicles and no ubering back and forth. I had rotors replaced all four tires. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Absolutely amazing service! One brake suddenly went bad. The parts were ordered and came out early the next day. Couldn't have asked for better service. Very reasonable and knowledgeable. Would use them again and highly recommend. Thank you so much!!!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE ALLEN LOCATION! I wish I could give them a zero. I am very displeased with their services. I called them and scheduled an appointment with a mechanic after finding out my serpentine belt may need replacing. The appointment was supposed to be between 3pm -7pm. The mechanic showed up at 7:22pm, didn't call or text until he pulled up. He didn't show any remorse, he just said I went across the street.He first looked at my alternator and told me it looked good, didnt look old or dirty, not sure how he saw that because it was night time. He then changed my serpentine belt, he didn't show me the old belt just put the other one on. When he was finished my car still didn't start. He told me I needed a new battery and to get power steering fluid for my car, eventhough he didn't check the gauges. It turns out that my 2007 Toyota yaris is an electronic power systm, not hydraulic so he almost really messed up my car. I bought a new battery as well and the battery light was still on. I had Auto Zone run a diagnostic and they said it was the alternator. Good hood reached out to me for a review, when I told them what happened they said they would make it right and have a free diagnostic set up. After about 7 calls to them I finally got Heather back who told me that they would charge me $90 for the diagnostic if it turns out not to be their fault. Like I'm a mechanic. They are manipulative and just want your money! Stay away from them. My car still isn't fixed and I'm out of money for a serpentine belt that I didn't need.Service: Auto body & trim repair

My power steering line sprung a leak, and they had my car fixed within a few days. Thanks to them coming out and doing the repair on site, i never had to deal with the danger of driving to an auto shop without power steering. The price was fair, Tobias did a great job with the repair, and all of the staff I dealt with were super friendly and helpful. Can't recommend them enough.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Found them online while browsing. Was skeptical about using their services at first. But when the fixmycar team responded promptly and answered all my questions I felt at ease. Booked a repair for the next day and the mechanic Ed came within the time frame and finished the repair within 30 minutes. Everything went smoothly and was a great first time experience. on June 26 2023 I called good hood about my appointment and Heather answered and I asked a question about my appointment but she didn't have an answer for me or I felt she had a long day and didn't want to help me and she just abruptly hung up on me. so I just canceled my appointment and used a different company to repair my car.

Awful experience with this company. My first appointment "didn't go through". I had a screen shot of it. Which was nice because they do not notify you of ANYTHING, until the mechanic is on his way. The second appointment, the mechanic text me an hour after he was suppose to be here to let me know he was on his way. I couldn't stay so had to reschedule again after waiting around all morning. Not sure what the point of having a mechanic come to you if you have to wait 4 hours for them. The 3rd appointment someone actually came and was within the time slot. Looked at my car, tried to tell me I needed work I didn't need and gave me a huge bill. $1600 for something i got done at $400 a month after, AND had an oil change in that $400... I know I didn't need some of the fixes suggested by FixMyCar because I had JUST had them done a month before, and other mechanics since have said im good. When i called to cancel my membership with them and told them how much they were charging me for parts that i could look up and see.... they took $600 off my bill lol literally took over 1/3 of my bill off because i pointed out they were charging me $90 for a $12 part. Took out certain parts BUT KEPT THE LABOR THE SAME lol The labor they charged was literally more than my entire bill to fix my car from another shop. Overall, this company charged me $60 for a visit and 1 month membership to try and rip me off and then proved they were trying to straight rip me off after i called them out. Like he knew it happened. Don't waste your time or money.

Sean was knowledgeable, persistent and went above and beyond. Very professional. Even had a seat for me to sit and wait. He did a great job on my power steering pump. Tobias, went above and beyond my expectations. Diagnose the problem that it was in fact the starter and he did not leave until he got it done despite the fact it rained. He made two trips to the auto parts store and now my truck starts just fine. Thank you so much ,it's hard to find a mechanic that is honest and will not leave until the job is done right

Eric came to my house to inspect and advise me regarding my brakes. He was on-time and very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He took time to show me the parts, issues and we discussed all the options before he continued with the repair. Overall I was very pleased with FixMyCar and would not only call them again for future vehicle maintenance, but I would recommend their services to my friends

Our mechanic Ben did an excellent job replacing the radiator and top hose on our 1997 Chevy Suburban. He came prepared with all the parts and coolant to do a quick uneventful replacement. Great work especially for the price. We will definitely use this company again.T.Dale

Teresa is great, she was very patient and understanding, she explained things to me, Tobias the technician was also great he took his time and explained and showed me the problem with my car. Even though because of company policy he could not repair it. He told me what was wrong so that I can go and tell a mechanic without the expensive guess work and not getting to the problem fixed. Thanks guys I will keep your number and I will recommend you guys.

My alternator went out, was quoted around 600 for parts/labor at 2 other physical shops, thier service was a little more then half of that and they came to me. Tobais was great! He came and fixed my car I would highly reccomend using this site for like at home car maintenance.
