I pick up my van after getting new tires on it today. This was what I found and it is the brand new tire they didn't even inflat it to the 51 psi which is stated on the side of the tire.Took it back the next morning. I won't say I had the best experience but at last the manager took and filled them up to a good psi.

I've been a customer of Discount Tire for over 20 years and today I was again reminded of just how diligent they are at hiring awesome employees! Went above and beyond to locate a tire I needed for a car that I just purchased and saved me from having to buy 4 new ones for my all wheel drive Subaru...honesty makes for long term customers, truly a trustworthy company!! Much love especially to the Carpenter Rd. location!! I'll be back to purchase my next 4 from you guys!!

Had a tire blow out on my trailer on the way to Indiana. We called the shop and Zhendyn answered. He was awesome and said he would have a new tire waiting for us and it was when we arrived. We then went back to get our trailer to come back and get new tires. Zhendyn helped so much and was able to get us back in the road in less than an hour. Would definitely recommend this location!

I literally had the BEST experience here! Oh my gosh, I will be calling during normal business hours so I can personally tell all of you how much I appreciate you all; and your kindness has not gone unnoticed. I got my tire replaced and literally broke down in tears at how kind and helpful they are. They left me in such good shape! It was wonderful; I m so eternally grateful for them. Thank you a million times over!

I ended up having a small hole in my tire and got my tire patched for free. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I definitely recommend these guys for tires. I've been there about four times and they've always been very polite and haven't had any issues getting my tires replaced or fixed.

I had a tire leak and went in to get it checked out about 2 weeks ago and told my tire had no issues. My tire was flat again so I came back to get it repaired but now my tire had irreplaceable damage because I drove on it too much while being flat! This wouldn t have happened if they simply repaired it the first time and now I m out 200$ . Please do not go here. Check out belle tire on carpenter or Jimenez tire in Pontiac for cheap used tires in great condition

I came to discount tire with really really bad tires. My Lugnuts were bad at about 10. My estimated time of departure will be at 11:45 Austin was awesome and got me out of here by 10:41. Thank you discount tires I will definitely recommend you again.

Made an appointment online for cyber Monday. Even though they were very busy everyone was very professional. Very happy with my new tires and the wait was understandably long but the waiting area is big clean and has seating and hand sanitizer with bathrooms. My female coworker told me to come here and I am glad I did. As a women I not only appreciate the customer service and atmosphere but also the fair pricing. Thank you Austin and the whole crew!

Called prior to arriving at Carpenter rd location...asked if tire rotation was free...I was told yes...I said are you sure?...yes free...I believe gentleman was the manager...i got to store...salesman told me it's $40...hmmmmm...salesman...said I guess I can do it this one time...I did have rear wiper installed...happy with price and work...wait time was reasonable...

If you're in a pinch and need tire service, go here. Belletire always has longer wait times, is more expensive, and less good service. The people, at specifically this discount tire, are super friendly and patient with any questions you have. They usually tell me 45 mins and have it done 15 to 30. Will be lifetime customer considering how good of a deal I always get, especially with price matching.

After I originally visited this store in 2013, the outstanding service brought me back for the next 10 years. However, each return visit was increasingly disappointing, though I wrote them all off as anomalies since the original service was great. I returned again this winter to have my snow tires put on. After waiting a long time in line to pick it up, they couldn't find the key. When they finally found it and I returned to the car, it looked like someone left a muddy dog in it. It was obvious whoever was servicing the car had very dirty and wet gloves. There was mud all over every surface near the driver's seat: steering wheel, window, console, shifter, door handle, etc. The pictures don't capture it well. I didn't have time to wait in line again, though I wrote a complaint to Discount Tire's main office the following day. Afterwards, the local store tried to call me while I was on another call. They didn't even bother to leave a message. I see no reason to return. You can do better elsewhere.

The staff were extremely kind and courteous when I came in to get my tire checked. It was a walk in and not that many people but their tone of voice and demeanor seemed exceptional.

Had an unpleasant trailer tire blow out and limped in to this Discount Tire. Austin, William, and the rest of the staff were able to replace it and get me back on the road in a half hour. Thank you very much for the quick, professional service!

This store is trying to get people hurt. Grasping for sales. Intentionally causing safety issues.Came to this location with a tire that s been losing air slowly. Needs filling every few days. The young man helping me was pushy and aggressive asking what if we can t repair it? then what will you do?? obviously he was TRYING to see if he could squeeze a new set tires out of me, before even looking at the tire. Then finally he goes in for a very short amount of time to say can t fix it have to buy new tires I was not interested in new tires and expressed this before hand. After telling them I d take the car elsewhere they put my tire back on and filled it to over 50psi, almost DOUBLE what it s supposed to take. Tell me he wasn t intentionally TRYING to pop my tire.If it pops while i m driving and I get into an accident, discount tire will be at fault.

Disappointed. I've done business here before, many times. In the past, it was comical when new tires were suggested after roughly six months of being new with 16,000 miles...I shrugged it off. Unfortunately, another event. Had a flat in August and this store suggested replacing one tire since the others were good. I asked a couple times, should I still rotate (it was time based on mileage). The rep. kept saying no, wait to rotate. I waited and came back to rotate today. Now I'm told the other tires are too bald on the inside to rotate. I asked if rotating them in August would've helped and they said probably. I'm disappointed with this store. I felt set up to get new tires, which is my opinion. There are other options.

Called to buy some tires and they couldn't be bothered to pick up their own phone. An automated machine said it would get me a real person then hung up on me. If you can't handle a phone call, no way I'm letting you touch my car.

My experience was great.I m a young woman who doesn t know the ins and outs of my car, I just knew I needed my tires replaced. Brian made me feel comfortable and knowledgeable about what I was purchasing, and made the process very smooth.I will be a long time customer.

We have had consistently good service at most of the Discount Tire locations we've been to and I wanted to take a moment and point out how happy I was with the service at this location this morning. I had a flat on the way to work, five minutes from my office: it appeared I had to have hit something in the road, enough to put a considerable hole in the rear passenger tire. Fortunately I was literally a mile away from this location and Austin W. was the gentleman who helped me out. I can't praise him enough; very nice and upfront about the situation.He recommended a replacement over repair, which I typically lean towards anyway (not sure I trust a tire that's not 100% on Michigan roads!). As I had road coverage on the full set I bought 18 months ago, replacement was a breeze and only cost $20 to carry the certificate over from the bad tire to the new one. I was there just before 8am when they opened and Austin had me in and out in 20 minutes. Very happy with everything and just another reason I use Discount whenever I have issues or need new tires.

I scheduled the repair for a screw in the tire and that was pretty quick. That same day my wife and I came back to drop her car off to get 4 new tires. We decided to keep the newer one as a spare since it was just put on in 2022. When picking up the vehicle, my wife asked if the tire we told them we wanted to keep was in the trunk and they said go look and if it's not they'll look for it. It wasn't there and they stated they're "going to keep an eye out for it." That's great but we're 20 minutes away without construction and traffic and plus we have a 2 week old newborn. I thought we were crossing one thing off the list but now we have to go back and who knows if we're even getting the tire that was ours at this point.. We dealt with Brian both times.UpdatedWe called back after not hearing anything for about a week and they stated they couldn't find the tire so they're giving us a new one. All in all it is now worth it to go back for a new tire. Thanks

Horrible customer service. Brought my truck in to get new tires. They cracked my rim with the bead breaker machine. Employees then said its impossible so we rolled the tire over to the machine it lined up exact. Then they proceed to tell me they will buy me a rim if id like to get a set of after market ones or if i wanted a new rim they would give me $250 towards a $850 dollar rim. Save yourself the time and go to a real tire shop cause a place for DISCOUNTS and crooks isnt what your going to want

I came here only because belle tire was closed. I regret it. When I came in I told the guy what I needed and he proceeded to ignore everything I said and told me I needed 4 new tires when in reality I only needed two because I just replaced the back two that summer and I didn t have the cash to get all four at the time. I understand the need for wanting to upswell but sometimes you should just listen to the customer. I ended up getting the tires I needed but it was like pulling teeth to get the sales guy to listen.

Do not go here for patch work. I ran over a nail on 2month old tires. This place inspected the tire and told me an hr. 1hr 45min later they come out to tell me they cant fix a tire with that low tred, but they can sell me a new tire.After i told him they inspected over 2hrs ago and said nothing about this and the fact it was a 2month old tire...He decided to smile and call me a lier. So i pulled out the receipt.. then i pulled out my debth stick ( im a truck driver so always got 1 handy). After being called out on this lie, he said the tire was too warn. LolSo i just tell him to put the tire back on so he dont waste any more of my time. His response was to gigle like a girl and say i was the one who asked to see the tire.After i told him he has 10sec to walk back their or id put it on myself he went out.You would think its over but nope, he pulled the truck out with the lugs untightened completely. He said its not his job. So after i told him if he didnt tighten them back up id kick his butt, he decided to tighten it up. This place is nothing but a tire sales shop.

0 stars. On December 29, 2023, I had this location balance/mount four new Michelin Defenders on my 2021 Yukon XL. They ruined three of my rims with what appear to be machine scratches, which had the original tires and were not scratched at all prior. The entire edges of the rims are scratched/grooved in a uniform way, which indicates machine damage. Stay away. About $1,500 bucks and they send me out like this? I didn t notice until I washed them and looked closely, otherwise I d have never left the store. A Google search reveals that this is all too common. New rims would be like $2000 for this car. Sickened and I bought their stupid warranty that I ll now never use because they can t be trusted.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. They destroyed one of my tires when I did the winter swap. I didn't know until I did my summer swap... The shop called me and told me that one of my tires was not repairable. By the way my tires have about 5-6 /32 of tread...

Always friendly, good service and decent prices. I've been a customer for 30 years. I started with a free flat repair and fell in love with the tire replacement insurance. Michigan roads can be deadly to tires.

Customer Service was excellent. I went in with a price point and the salesperson did not try to up sale me. He gave me options and pointed out the details of each tire. I really appreciated that. I don't know if I went in at the right time, but I was in and out within an hour on a Thursday about 3pm.

This is the only car-related business I can go to and feel confident that I m not getting ripped off or taken advantage of. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service is fast!
