First off I work in customer service and I am a corporate manager . I specialize in great customer service. This Autozone has one of the rudest managers I have ever encountered. (Mina)*, (Bea)*. I Tried ordering something online and it didn t give me the correct pricing . I went into the store and explained my situation to the manager. She very rudely said that s online pricing only . It did not say on the Autozone website it was online only . Been a customer there for many years . Never coming back

This place is awesome! I love Auto Zone as a company. John Moore was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to help up, even offering his own tools. Thank you to everyone here. Honestly everyone here is just great. If you have any questions about your car, they ll do their best to help.

Just wanted you a shout out to John Moore at the Washtenaw avenue store. Our wipers stopped working during our drive and we managed to get to the store. John troubleshot the problem for us and helped us take care of it. Excellent customer service

Quick and easy pickup for small vehicle parts like wipers, brake pads etc. Staff is helpful and friendly. Store is bright and well organized for easy search and pick. The store desk will help locate other, vehicle specific parts using VIN or model name and year.

John and Bea were such wonderful people to work with after a stressful day of my car battery dying twice, stranding me two separate places.They were so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! They were able to figure out my problem and fix it within 20 minutes. They are the definition of what outstanding customer service is. Thank you John Moore and Bea!

We would like to thank Alexis and the Gentlemen that help my wife and I. I was able to watch You Tube and replace her head lights by myself but knowing that the staff had my back made me feel that much better in doing something that I never done to a specific car.

8 August 2017 - Meh. Super hit-or-miss when it comes to sales people. I guess what would you expect from a national chain? Buy your oil at Costco and get general supplies at Home Depot. All the other random stuff you can try here.

I went here because I was told about how if you had an easy in and out headlight setup, then they would provide the service of replacing the bulb for you. I m a 24yr old and not from the area so this was kind of my only option at the time. I understood that they might say they can t provide this service for me for whatever reason, but I didn t expect such a bad experience. I went in and directly asked the worker at the counter if they provided this service for my car year and model. He didn t even check, he just said no. Then, a worker next to him said that they in fact could because it was a simple process and easy replacement. So the initial guy grumpily sold me the proper headlight. He hardly spoke to me, and just seemed incredibly bothered that he had to serve me. I work in customer service so I am very friendly when I go into a place of service as I understand what it s like to serve rude customers. He tore open the package, walked out to my car, realized he would need an adjustable wrench to take off one bolt, handed me the opened unreturnable package and said he couldn t fix that. In all, it was done with such rudeness and was such a bad experience.

Everyone I interacted with was so nice and helpful! My battery had died- the manager Nick helped me with replacing it. His kindness made my day. I will definitely return here for future auto part needs.

Excellent service from Johnny, professional, courteous knowledgeable. I was 60 miles from home visiting family and my battery light came on. Johnny tested my battery, we then brought the alternator to be tested. Johnny installed my new battery, taking the time to explain how both parts work together. Would recommend this autozone to all for exceptional customer service

Always a great selection of what i need for car repairs. However, customer service experience was not good at all. It always seems like I'm annoying them when i come in for something. Do they even like their jobs?I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to automotive language but, when i just need to bring my old battery in and purchase a headlight bulb, i would think it would be easy and pleasant for an associate.Great looking store but associates don't seem to want to be curtious to customers.

This store is hands down my favorite autozone to go to. The employees all the way from the manager to the cashiers are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond . Definitely would recommend everyone comes here

The only competent worker there was Jay the mechanic, he helped us with all of our needs and went above and beyond. The other two employees were not helpful at all, just watching him work while they sat there. Brian was especially challenging, as he made us feel like we should have just went somewhere else. Jay was the only redeeming factor. Corporate/manager needs to reevaluate what a good worker is from what isn't.

Super rude staff. I asked a simple question and the woman I was talking with rolled her eyes at me multiple times and seemed extremely agitated. I ususally never write negative reviews, in fact this is my first, but I have never received worse customer service in my life. Hopefully they see this review and talk with their staff about the importance of customer service.

Came in needed some LED head lights, the folks were quick to grab my part and out the door I went. Funny staff to joke with, will forsure be back here in the future for more auto parts needs.

Wish I could give zero stars. Staff was very unwelcoming, unprofessional, and extremely rude. I came to the store on 5/22/18 in the morning at 7:40. The store opening times are listed 7:30, I will gladly wait if employees need time to get themselves together to get ready for the day, but an employee very rudely told me that they won't be open for 20 minutes. He could have said that in a polite way. Further more, he didn't even do the courtesy of letting me know that they were open. Very very rude staff. Not a customer orientated location. Workers cannot communicate in a professional manner. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE. Try the ann arbor locations because this location is trash. I will make sure to let people know to steer clear from this one.

Went there yesterday with my car having trouble starting, I wanted to check it if the battery is dead and buy a new one if that was the case, but all of their testing equipment was broken - battery testers, starters, you name it. So, we couldn't diagnose what the problem was for sure. The staff were nice and tried to help as much as they could, but they could only do so much. Being stranded, I had to call a friend for help to get my car jumped and drove right across the street to O'Reilly's, where they did have properly functioning equipment to diagnose that the battery was indeed bad, and I purchased a new one from them. They installed it for free too and took the old one for safe disposal! I have had good experience with Autozone before and this wouldn't necessarily stop me from shopping there again, but it was definitely not a great experience. A generic apology from management would just be a PR stunt if they don't equip their employees with proper tools to be able to serve the customers better.

Came to pick up an online order, which took 8+ hours to put together despite being two in-stock items, but there was a sign on the door saying "be back in 15 minutes". Sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes, no one ever came back. Returned to the store the next day, and they didn't even have my order put together ready to go, the lady had to go get the items from the store floor. I could have gotten my items faster on Amazon at this rate...

Everytime I stop in the sales help is standing around. You have to ask them to help you because they're to busy talking about other things. I only stop in to grab oil or a bulb (something I can get myself). When checking out they never ask if your a rewards member, you have to tell them so you atleast get the points.

Avoid this location at all costs.Before I continue I must admit that not all the staff were rude.But this is in regard to the return hassle caused by the inept manager or lead at the store when I went to make a return on a lifetime warranty product after a few days of purchase.Long story short , I had to explain my entire situation of why I was returning the product for about an hour. I was treated like a criminal being cross examined by the store manager who at first did not want to issue a refund because the item was used ... of course it would be used that s how I found out it was defective detective Clouseau. He was playing 21 questions grilling me about the product and why I wanted a refund. He later had to call another store manger or somebody higher up and after a 5 min tl;dr of my request he finally gave me my refund.

I needed a headlight bulb replaced for my 2012 Toyota Camry but couldn't reach the location under the hood to get a hold of and replace the bulb. The employee came out to my car and helped get to the location and remove the dead bulb, pointed me to the replacement bulbs in the store and helped me install the new bulb. The store was clean, and the employees were very helpful. I was there no more than 20 mins. I really appreciated the help.

Today, I purchased a new car battery for my 2011 Nissan Murano. The store night manager, Jacob, assisted me by installing the new battery. I couldn't be happier with his professionalism, and kindness. He answered many questions and provided additional information regarding brake fluid, and coolant as he looked under the hood. Thank you Jacob.
