In my experience it doesn't get better than Sam. He's been prompt, thorough, and takes the time to help me fully understand my car's particular issue. He also fixed my a/c last year and I haven't had any further problems with it. 5 stars, would recommend!

They do an amazing job for you! The staff is amazing and the prices are fair. I felt at ease with trusting my repairs to these guys. Very trustworthy and friendly environment. They will treat you right. I highly recommend

We have been bringing our vehicles to Sam for the last few years now. We have a Kia Rio that he has done work on and has kept her running smoothly. Most recently, we needed major work done on our GMC Terrain. He gave us a quote that afternoon and had the work completed by end of business day that next day. He is always honest with us about what needs to be done and gives us a fair price. We'll continue to trust Sam with our vehicle maintenance.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Service was good and they give us solution very fast. But Price was High was the cost: $40 just to put a small patch on a tire, because tire has a screw on it and was loosing air slowly, to patch it took them like 5 minutes and at the end they asked $40. Same job cost average $25, which was price we expected. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and no have time to go another place. So, good service but high prices.

My Husband I have been coming here for over a decade:) Sam takes care of us every time. Sam is such a nice guy:) My husband always goes to him first. He make everything so convenient to drop off our vehicles before work and pick them up on the way home. We have NEVER had an issue with any repair. We took our vehicle here to get diagnosed. Upon hearing back we were told a total breakdown of everything wrong and what was priority to fix, including the pricing. Sam was helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. He was able to get our fixes done quickly so we didn't have to rent a car while waiting. I ve been to a few places around town but nobody compares to Ann Arbor Auto .Sam the owner is very knowledgeable and honest about whatever it is going on with your car, I ve had to have a whole engine replacement on my Chevy Malibu! Sam is the only shop around that actually let me bring my car in & checked what was going on in a timely manner. Once notified he broke down pricing and labor time ect. When I say he had the best deal around town and worked on my car and got the job done ASAP ..that s what he did. I recommend his shop to anyone who ask about a mechanic that s reliable and doesn t want to rip people off like most around town! Hands down the only place I ll be bringing my car to have work done!Services: Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

Fantastic Service experience. I first met Joe June 23rd with my wife's 2018 Traverse that was limping from a chipmunk chewed engine wire harness. We left the car picking it up Saturday afternoon June 24th with the harness beautifully repaired and an engine tune up completed. Great Quality work with the engine compartment spotless when we got it back!!

I brought my mother s vehicle here for headlight replacement and the service was amazing. The owner was very friendly and provided all the details necessary for the service, including the price. It's nice to have a neighborhood shop you can rely on. The turn around was same day for my check engine light and I've also gone up for other quick repairs. I brought my car in to get some suspension work done because I had been hearing it make some pretty unpleasant noises. Sam got it done quickly. Two weeks later I started hearing similar noises so I brought it back to him to see what was up, he let me know it just needed some lubrication and did that free of charge the same day. Sam is always very helpful in helping understand what is wrong with my vehicles, he breaks it all down for you. Prioritizing what s more important since sometimes I have a tight budget. Sam was extremely helpful. My daughters tire was not able to be replaced at another tireshop. I had her reach out to Sam for him to speak with the mechanic to understand her issue. The car was towed to Sam and the issue resolved. My boyfriend has been coming to Ann Arbor Auto Care for about 10 years, and while in the past the owner has helped us out in a pinch, the last couple of visits have not been great. I had an emergencywhere my tailpipe fell off my car and in order to have it fixed I needed to have Ann Arbor Auto care fix a gas leak in my car first. My boyfriend made an appointment to get the gas leak fixed (which the owner fixed on a different car of mine in the past, no problem). He explained the situation to the owner and scheduled the appointment a day ahead. The owner promised to have us in and out for $450, which was fine, and my boyfriend even offered to pay an extra $50 if he did have it done. He also told my boyfriend that he wouldn't have any other appointments in the morning. But when we got there around 9:30, he said he had to take care of another customer who needed an oil and tire change. So we waited (since we were a late), for nearly an hour for the owner to come out and tell us that would we have to wait three more hours for him to get to it or leave the car there. Again, he promised to have us in and out. This isn't the first time we got the run around with this place and the owner said one thing and then changes his tune when it was time to fix repairs. And when my boyfriend confronted him about it, he ultimately decided he wasn't interested in repairing my car. Would not recommend this place.

Sam has become my go to mechanic for my Lincoln MKX. He takes amazing care of his customers. He takes the time to show me exactly what and where the problem is, explaining everything thoroughly and he gets my repair needs taken care of right away. His prices are very reasonable. Bottom line Sam is a hard working and honest mechanic. A guy that I like to know, personally. Highly recommend

This was a great experience. I came in on a Monday and had electrical issues with my car and was not able to drive it. They called me back Tuesday morning and said they were able to get me my car by that afternoon fixed and ready to go with my electrical issues fixed and my oil change and tire rotation done as well. It was a great price, and super quick service! Sam is an AWESOME certified mechanic. He has ALWAYS done great by me when fixing my vehicles. He allows me to bring my own parts and charges me labor only. He always let me name my labor price and cash gets you a cheaper price.

Very caring and friendly they went out of there way to take care of us. We were traveling from Georgia to Michigan for an important surgery and on our way home ourcar shut off on hwy 23 I had it towed to the closest mechanic and it just happened to be Ann arbor auto care they worked so hard and were very concerned to make sure our car was trip worthy to get us home safely. I don't write reviews often, but this place deserves it. Like everyone else, I had to get new tires (that I already had) installed the day before this year's first big snowfall. Belle Tire, Discount, etc. were all booked for days. So I called here (on a Saturday afternoon) and I was told they could have it done that day. I brought the car in, came back a couple hours later, paid $80, and drove away with 4 new tires installed and balanced. They also fixed a grinding sound that was coming from one of my wheels when braking at low speeds. To top it off, Sam gave my brother mechanical advice when he could have easily made money off of it. Professional, honest, and accommodating are the words that come to mind when I think of AA Auto Care.

Sam sold me a car that he said was in good condition for $3000. I have been his customer for a little over a year and was in a tight situation (single mom with no family where I live ) and I decided to trust him. I was driving the car,within the week I noticed some sounds and issues with the way it was driving. I took it to him and he said nothing was wrong. The next day, the car stalled on the freeway. The ac compressor was messed up and in turn the serpentine belt snapped. I towed it up to his shop,after calling and verifying it was ok. I expressed my frustration about the issues with the car. He got upset.and tried to charge me double the price then said he wouldn't work on the car when I said his price was ridiculous. He was unprofessional and unempathetic to the situation. Definitely took advantage of my unfortunate situation and sold me a car that needed work even though he said it didnt. Will NEVER be going back there,even if I break down right in front of his shop. SHAME ON ME FOR TRUSTING HIM.
