The Chevy dealership told me I need a front motor mount on my Chevy Traverse and wanted $625 to do it. I never noticed any engine shaking so I opted for a second opinion. I brought my car to this shop and they said the mounts are fine, you car is vibrating when you drive because the new tires I had installed were not balance properly. I m glad they were thorough and honest in what was really wrong with my car. I will be back for future car needs.

Hands down the best automotive shop in the area. I have been taking my Jeep here for work as needed since 2016. The owner, Ted, takes great pride in what he does. He is always honest about what I need for my vehicle, and will never try to up sell services like many other shops and dealerships will do.You will not regret taking your vehicle here for service.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning

Last year, with a DIFFERENT automotive service outfit I had a bad experience. I won't go into that. Instead I'll speak to my experience with Advanced Automotive. I dropped my '68 T-Bird off hoping to be able to get it on the road soon enough to enjoy it this year. Advanced Automotive had it ready for me in just over a week. Getting the RIGHT parts took a few days. They did the job RIGHT! Now I am enjoying cruisin' with my wife. The next step is getting a good sound system installed. Advanced Automotive Services is a great place to have any auto repair work done. They got my car in fast and had it fixed by the end of the day! It needed a new alternator, starter and transmission line. They did quality work and the price was very fair. Now my car is running better than ever! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thank you Ted and Cheryl!Update 3-5-2019:My car stopped recognizing my chip in my key and it would not let me start my car. Luckily they have all the Ford dealer reprogramming equipment and got me back on the road quickly! It's something that normally has to be taken to a dealership to have fixed and they charge big $$$ to do it. I got charged 1/4th of what a dealership would have charged!Once again Thank You Ted and Cheryl for being awesome and doing quality work for a very reasonable price! Do not hesitate to give Advanced Automotive Services a call! They will get you back on the road in no time and you will still have plenty of money in your wallet to take your woman out for dinner and a movie!

It is such a relief to have an honest and capable mechanic. Ted is exceptional, and incredibly fair. My family has used him for years and have never had a bad experience. I live in Livonia and still drive to Ypsilanti so Ted can work on my car. I cannot recommend him enough.

Such great and wonderful people, I recommend them to anyone in the township area. My family has been going to them for auto service for many years. Helped me a couple months ago on my windshield washer sprayer and they work great now.

Ted and Cheryl are some of the most honest and hard working people I know. You'll have confidence leaving your car here for repair that that it will be done right and at a fair price. Ted has decades of experience repairing and maintaining domestic cars, you wont have random hired wrenches touching your car.Their a great model of a mom and pop shop.

Ted is a real one. I ve been without a car for about 3 months with issues that other mechanics couldn t trace. Ted spent a few hours and gave me the info I needed to get my car back on the road. Incredibly happy with the service I received.

Just had some work done on my daughter s car and once again I am SO pleased. I first took a car to him to get some work done when I was 19 (And many times over the years have trusted him with my family s vehicles). They have ALWAYS a great job and provided excellent service. I HIGHLY recommend them for car repairs.

5 stars!My car had a small engine fire due user error. In speaking with everyone I have ever met, it was assumed the alternator was broken. In speaking with the Owner, he knew right what the problem was (Not the alternator). Not only did he fix my car, but he fixed it for much less than I thought I was going to pay! He was very honest & called me every step of the way during my process.He was so honest, my husband asked him to look at my breaks too. The owner told me my breaks were NOT in direct need of repair, but told me if I did want to replace them-how much that would cost. We ended up not replacing the breaks (hey, they don't need it yet!), but when they do need work- I'm rushing back to AAS!I will recommend this place to everyone I know in the area. Fast service (car was fixed when they said it would be). I have been taking our cars to Advanced Automotive for years and Ted there always does a first class job doing the job right. There also have been those times when I REALLY needed a repair done (i.e. leaving on vacation in a day or two) and they have been able to squeeze me in and do the repair. As far as I know, Advanced does not advertise as he has plenty of business just from word-of-mouth about outstanding service. To me that really says something.

Honest, fair, ethical and knowledgeable- what more can you ask for in a car repair shop?!? Ted and Cheryl are really good people. I've been going to the for over 20 years and wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

My girlfriend and I have only had good experiences here. It's a pain-free, complication-free process every time. No problems with drawn out repairs or overcharging or anything like that. I've recommended them to all my friends and family in the area.

I really like these people and they are just good people. Recently I had an issue which wasn't fixed the first time they went at it, but when I brought it back 6 months later they tried another fix and only charged me for parts. I like them. They only do domestic cars, FYI.
