Great service, I needed a new battery and being out of town in Ann Arbor Mi. I found Advance Auto Parts on Google maps they sold and installed my new battery, and I received a 10% military discount . I will be back for my auto needs.

Went in and bought brake pads for my truck. They didn t ask any questions except make, model and engine size. Got home tore my truck apart and had the wrong parts, things happen. Went back to store and girl said it must be the other ones. I asked if that s the only other option and and she said, how would I know. I said isn t it in front of you, her comment was just a blank stare back. They did work on my truck so all is good.Zero personality.

I live in the Carpenter Place Apartments next door. Can't ever seem to get ahold of yall so here is this 1 star review. Do something about your damn alarm before I cone over there and do something about it for you. For the last month it has been going off at least every other night late at night when people are trying to sleep. It's going off right now on new years eve at 6:42 pm. This is obscene how often it's going off and it's right outside my window. If this continues into January I will be taking legal steps getting city ordnance and advance auto parts corporate involved. I do not drive so I have no need for automatic. What I do have a need for is some sleep which I can't get due to your alarm going off as often as it does at all hours of the night.

Used to be my favorite auto store to shop... nothing like the in person experience. Sadly though, seems like the customer support experience has taken a nose dive. One particular associate; Kyler .. makes it seem as if the customers are the reason he has to work. Extremely low energy, sarcastic and I'm sure would rather be doing something other than helping people. It's much easier and less stressful to shop online these days, I think that's where I'll continue my shopping experience for all things automotive related

Staff claimed that they are unable to check or change car batteries when it's wet outside. Went straight to O'Reilly's and gave them my $300 for new battery and wipers instead.Save your time, go to O'Reilly's 8 minutes away

Free battery installation is a lie. The woman at the counter couldn't have been less interested in being there. Least helpful place I've been in a long time.

Lorenzo was a great, he went out of his way to help us find the correct parts for this Frankenstein Toyota truck that was being worked on today! He made sure we had everything we needed and even made it a mission to make sure we where taken care of, never had someone go that far for us! 3360 Carpenter Rd, Ypsilanti, MI!

Took my father in law here to get a new car battery and they helped us great and made sure he was happy before we left. Only thing I would say could be better is that they have more options they only carried one brand.

I just got a new battery for my car before winter. When I purchased this battery, and every time I buy something here, someone always asks me for my email or phone number to find my account and record my purchases. However, when I tried to find a battery warranty this time, their system only found a purchase record for one item in my two accounts. I've lived nearby for 10 years, and I have bought so many stuff here for my cars, trucks and mini vans, but their system automatically deletes the purchase history. It is highly recommended that you keep paper receipts.

Stopped here today to get new battery installed. Victoria was awesome! Getting my old battery out was challenging, due to a stubborn bolt, but she pushed through it and got it done! I worked in the service industry for many years and finding people who understand the importance of good customer service is rare these days. She definitely understands good customer service!

Best experience I ve had at an auto shop! I needed to buy a brake light and Demonte was friendly, professional and extremely helpful to me. He even offered to help me install the light. I definitely will be coming in again for any future needs.

I would give it a 0 if I have to. Came to ask if the battery was good. Person at the front (who later said was the manager) was not pleasant to begin with. He asked me to open the hood. I opened the latch from the inside but the actual hood wont open. Apparently it had a latch that i did not know. When i told the person that i have never opened the hood on that particular car..he said whaaat in a judgmental way. Why should i be judged??? Isnt it his job to open it? When he opened it, he did not even look at it for 10seconds and said he cant do anything about it since the negative is not exposed and had no idea where it was. Like he did not care at all and went in. Isn't it his job to know? I talked to my husband over the phone and he said that he is a regular customer of the same chain in MD and never had issues with our car. I had to go in again as my husband suggested to ask for other staff. The same guy said there is someone else too but he is the manager and he had worked on hundreds and hundreds of cars before. When I asked if he ever had to deal with with model of my car he asked me to calm down. He just did not care.

Lorenzo went above and beyond today to help me with my daughter s car! Checked the battery and alternator, but discovered the battery terminal connector was corroded and bad. She s back on the road and the car starts right up like it should.

My online order was not ready when I arrived. I may have been there a few minutes before 30 minutes so, there is that. There were 3 employees and 4 other customers when I arrived. They seemed to be more interested in the loud music and personal conversations.

There system s garbage more then once did I get the wrong part for a car when they say it s the part you literally gotta bring it in there and compare the 2 because there system is outdated and of course I got no receipt handed to me

Used my email in their system for random purchases because they "thought it wasn't connected to anything". What a weak response given I've actively used my account for years at this location. The employee laughed about it when I called into the store. Very unprofessional to take advantage of someone's information like this for the store's personal gain.

Never had a good experience here, every time I go employees are rude and incompetent. Yesterday I listened as one of the employees confidently told me something completely false. Just saying I never had a bad experience with o Riley.

Trying to fix a flat tire for a friend; was very disappointed by the service - unhelpful, cold, unfriendly, and seemed put out that I didn't know exactly what I needed. Maybe a good place to go if you know precisely what you need, but the woman with whom I spoke showed no interest in helping. I've had excellent service at a competing store, and this was a good reminder of why I shop there often.

Lately, I ve come in a lot, because my car is down..not so long ago, a young man I d had during week days was not very friendly, or accommodating, and would make me feel that I m annoying him, so I changed stores. Now, I ve had to come in, because it s close. I normally go to competition down the street. But, the woman, Victoria, who helped me the day after Thanksgiving was WONDERFUL, even with some horrid Man Karen who was screaming obscenities at all of the employees, they were still so nice to him, and still very pleasant after he left, and didn t continue to talk about it. Something not seen much in service lately, when dealing with awful and entitled customers. The gentleman working tonight, Ryan, helped me to order my gasket. He was very pleasant and helpful and said my part will be there first thing in the morning. He was absolutely wonderful, and I think I will be back to shopping at this store. Thank you so much!

I've only shopped here once. When I came in the store, the employee at the front checkout greeted me, asked me how I was doing, and then asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for or if he could help. I told him that I was looking for a T55 torx wrench (or socket). He did not know what a torx wrench was. I asked if they carried Allen (hex) wrenches. He said yes, and walked me over to the tool aisle. I quickly saw the torx wrench set I needed and the same employee was able to check me out promptly as soon as he was done helping another customer. Aside from not knowing what a torx wrench is, this employee showed great customer service and had a great attitude. Definitely a good first time experience at this store.

In my personal experience, the staff have not been rude and condescending, which is a huge deal as a woman.A lot of auto stores are f-ing rude and act like you don t know what you re talking about this because of your gender. I am happy to say that I have not had that problem here.

I visited the store today for the 1st time and let me just say I am very impressed with the customer service I received from Mike and Josh. As soon as I walked through the door I was welcomed. They went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I got what I needed. I needed a battery but didnt know anything about it. I also needed wipers and they offered to change my wiper blades for me as well as fill my wiper fluid. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks guys for being so great!

This is my go to store for auto parts. I really love their battery installation and recycling service. Their staff are helpful and friendly. Buying parts, tools and supplies in person is a great experience here.

I came by a few weeks ago to get my battery replaced. The service was great, and he two young men who helped were awesome. But a few days ago my car wouldn t start again after work and when I took my car back to the store they told me I needed to charge my battery and they suggested that I drive on the expressway for about a half hour total to recharge. The next morning my car wouldn t start again, so I took it back up there and told me my alternator or my starter was bad. When I took it to a mechanic they told me the connections to the battery were just not tight enough While the staff maybe kind please use caution on the advice they give and when you get home please give the connection to the battery a second look so you don t end up in the same position as me without a car going into the holiday weekend.

GM Michael provided excellent service the day I visited the store. He recommended his choice of engine oil, windshield wipers, and rain-x washer fluid which would be best for the vehicle that I m using and the current weather I m driving in. He explained the warranty on the windshield wipers of his choice to me. He also explained to me one of the benefits of using the advanced auto parts app. He even replaced and installed the new windshield wipers for me personally. Thank you for your service! Well done!

I went here last week to get service for my battery. The staff was very friendly, helped me find a nice replacement, and even gave me a nice discount on a new battery. There was an estimated service time of 30 minutes for the replacement, but Mike Degroot completed the install in under 10 minutes. I will definitely shop here again!

I stopped in to get new windshield wipers and was greeted and assisted as soon as I walked in the door. They were out of stock of one of the wipers I wanted but offered me a better replacement for the same price! He also offered to install them on my car and did a great job. It was very quick and the customer service was amazing! I will go back for all of my windshield wiper needs.

Leonard was very helpful getting a replacement windshield wiper for my wife. They even offered to help install it. We had a very good experience.
