Just today I celebrated a huge mileage achievement on my winter vehicle thanks to professional maintenance done at West Michigan Transmissions. 300,000 miles and many more to come. Not even a check engine light. Thank you WMT.

We just picked up our 2003 Dodge Dakota 4WD Pickup after having the transmition rebuilt. We are so happy with how smooth it shifts now. Great job guys! They ran into some bad parts being sent for this rebuild but sent them back & made sure all was good before calling us to tell us she was good to go! It was well worth the wait. We are very happy with the great job they did.

An abnormally qualified, quality, automotive full-service facility. It was happenstance that brought me there, but I'm very thankful it happened that way.The list of repairs my vehicle was in need of were taken care of in order of priority. Even though I still have a list to address, they made me aware of the issues, without pushing the sale.

Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my transmission was shot. ( car was to old based on cost and value) Gave my wife advice about newer car and what to look out for with newer car. Will be using them again

Craig and the guys stand by their work. My transmission shifts better than new! A problem I had afterwards was quickly resolved at no additional cost. Highly recommend West Michigan Transmissions for all your car needs. Good honest work at a fair price.

I had no idea a clutch could feel so good. Hats off to Mike for running a reputable business, and hats off to Craig for being professional over the phone and answering my incessant questions. Trying to leave an honest review, so four stars, because it took longer than I expected. Good things are worth waiting for, I guess. There was an unexpected hiccup, which they told me about. I feel like that s worth mentioning. Will continue to go here.Service: Transmission

They have a good product vehicle doesn't run any more they either cut a trans cooler metal line or ignore it lost all fluid and burnt it up they did mention other insignificant items but didn't do task at hand effective I'd been glad io purchased a new OEM line had I known my opinion is no craftsman here 4000 after that I'd had another vehicle serviced similar used old line with quick connect failed fortunately in driveway if you have service here keep a hawks eye on it other customers have had similar things but I've had experience n.trainig vocational school prevention is pound of cure they failed it shifted like dream uptil this a wk ago I've not had it service elsewhere so they to blame for inspection before n after my opinion

Craig at West Mi Transmission is truly what you look for in auto repair. He s honest, strait forward, and looks out for the customer. I m always hesitant with auto shops I m not familiar. I was in a pinch and used west mi transmission based on the reviews here, and it was the best decision I made. There s no frills, and they don t try to up sell or replace something that isn t needed. They are truly operated like a honest old repair shop from the past. Those are not easy to come by anymore. Craig and west MI transmission is one of the few remaining ones. I highly recommend, to anyone unsure.

Great experience. They noticed that my steering was loose and could cause an accident. I told them that I had the part to fix that problem and that it was either on the passenger side floor or seat. They installed the part and the steering is now nice and tight.

These guys are incredible! Can do much more than transmissions. Can't say enough good things. I've been dealing with them for years and they have helped several of my vehicles go unbelievable miles. 2 cars surpassing 300,000.

I am currently in Afghanista. My daughter bouught her car and took it to another shop in Feb and got inspected in May. She Registered and the Transmission went out, I looked up on Google and being a Mechanic in the Army for 20yrs Ret and Contracting now. I liked the Reviews. From the 1st Phone Call Craig and Mike have been there through thiis process. Even found things that were wrong and should've been taken care of and noticed by the other shop. Few hick ups here and there and they were straight forward. Helping out in every which way they could. Even Test Driving it around making sure everything was ok. I am very Satisfied with the service and appreciate all their help. I told my Daughter from now on when there are major problems or something is wrong stick with WMT. I had some very bad bearings on both my driver and passenger front tires that resulted in a rather loud drive. Along with a faulty tire sensor; they not only fixed my vehicle issues, but also informed me of my tire lug nuts that have swollen up.These guys are very professional, friendly and straightforward. The results are literally night and day- granted I knew my vehicle was loud but after I got it back and drove it...it was so quiet. Great service and wonderful people. Very honest and willing to help even weeks after using their service. I called with an issue that was not going to be business for WMT Transmission and would be for a car for my son out of state. Eric took the time to answer all of my questions and help me with my issue even though he would not profit from the situation. Thank you WMT.

They are the biggest rip off artists I've ever met. Tell me i need to have my transmission rebuildt for 1,700 to 2,400 dollars. Went to a real place and they told me it was my silanoid. Just like my computer was saying. They only charged me 550. If you go there get a second opinion. I would never recommend this place.

Great service. Took on my 2012 Toyota Avalon transmission fluid change. Others wouldn't do it as its a complicated trany. Seems to be running nicely. Very happy

I went in because my car had trouble accelerating. They replaced the catalytic converter. It was about $500 out the door altogether (including being billed for research time). Service was very professional and courteous. Will come back in the future.

Mike and the guy's do excellent work. I was having problems with the transmission in my 1971dodge demon Mike test drove and did an exceptional diagnostic and was able to fix all problems I would recommend these guys to any potential customer

This repair shop is GREAT! Honest people who won't try to sell you a bunch of extras you don't need and great prices. We had been looking for a new repair shop since our friend sold his business and we just found one!

Was putting a transmission into my 2002 suburban. I needed a part that only the dealer seemed to have and was over an hour away. I stopped in to see if they had it, and did, for a steal of a price.

Would not recommend this garage too anyone. They did not stand behind there work. Made excuses too charge for more repairs and maintenance.

Well after a couple years my rebuilt better than new $2000 plus transmission is broke again!!I could have saved money on a reman.Highly disappointed!!
