4 months now I've been dealing with my claim. My parked vehicle was smashed in front of my house. My vehicle goes back into Gerber AGAIN this coming Monday because the work they did is HORRIBLE for nearly $13K they worked my insurance company for. Josh that I have been working with, works harder at making excuses, blaming Dodge, carwashes, any excuse other than taking accountability for their shoddy work. Several people have commented on how awful my truck looks and how dare they think it's acceptable or give me any headache with my legitimate complaints about their terrible work. Gerber Collision is a joke and Josh should not be involved in customer service whatsoever. They/He, didn't even take pictures of my whole vehicle. Just where the initial impact was. Gerber Collision is a fradulent company making big money at the consumers exspense. Never again will I allow any of my vehicles have work done at Gerber and everyone I know will hear about my terrible experience with this overblown franchise.

Got into a minor collision and had my repairs done at this Gerber Collision. Repairs were done in a week's time and handled with great care. The staff here is warm and kind and very helpful. Their manager, Chad, clearly takes pride in what he does and cares about customers being well informed and satisfied with repairs.

I had front-end damage, which was fixed and painted to perfection. While they had my vehicle, it was vacuumed and washed along with my windows clean inside and out. Their customer service called with updates on the progress of my vehicle and when it was finished. I highly recommend Gerber Collision on 28th St and Burlingame in Wyoming .

A large work truck backed into my car on the street, really smashed the front end. Had it brought to Gerber and they absolutely blew me away with how good of a job they did. Everyone I work with knows how much I love my car, and they all thought I went out and bought a brand new one to replace it, that's how good it looks! When I picked it up the car was sparkling clean, inside and out. Chad was the gentleman that I worked with/spoke to along with my insurance adjuster, and he was simply amazing. Super friendly, honest, and made such a stressful process 1000x easier. He also made sure to reassure me that if I have any problems or concerns with the work they did, to stop by or give him a call and they would make it right. I work in the auto parts field up here in Grand Rapids, and I have made sure to let co-workers know who is responsible for such an amazing repair job, as well as recommending you guys a million times over to friends, family, and customers.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I am very happy with this shop, Gerber Collision. They detailed my vehicle after the job was completed. They repaired a scratch that was beyond the scope of my insurance claim. The damage repaired from a small bumper issue looks very good. I highly recommend Gerber Collision.

Gerber collision as an organization, is full of hacks. They've done horrible work for everyone in my life who has used them, my brother included. Horrible body gaps, bad service, and full of excuses when you call them on it. They take shortcuts every place they can.Beg your insurance company to work with a different shop.

I was looking for a collision shop to do repairs on my car and this place was just around the corner from my house. It took a bit to order parts for my car, but once I dropped it off the repairs only took about a week and a half with my car. I like having the text updates so I know the progress of my car.They did an excellent job replacing my door and matching the color to the rest of the car. It s like the accident never happened.

I almost had my car fixed here from being in a deer/ car accident and unfortunately the insurance company totalled the vehicle before Gerber could do anything. I was looking forward to them repairing the damage. If given the chance I will choose this shop. One of the most friendly and honest staff, which I don't feel I get from some other collision shops.

I had such a good experience here! I had an estimate done on Tuesday, dropped my vehicle off Thursday morning and picked my vehicle up by Friday!! It was so quick and it looks absolutely perfect. I worked with Chad and spoke several times with Lisa and have nothing but positive things to say!! They were both fantastic to work with. I will definitely be coming here if I need them in the future!

My wife had her two driver-side doors replaced here. It was supposed to take five days to fix, but they were perceptive enough to notice a larger fix that needed to occur in order to replace the doors. So, the repair took a bit longer than they expected. Not to worry, though. The quality of their service was well worth it! Not only was their rep Chad (I think that was his name) friendly, but he also walked me around the vehicle to explain what exactly they did to fix it. I felt very informed and respected as a customer. I will recommend this place to ANY person who has a collision repair to make. Their pick-up and drip-off process was smooth and quick. Well worth it!

I brought my Tacoma here for body damage. They did a great job with that and even cleaned my truck. Unfortunately, I went to clean it again today and realized the rear floor mat is not the same as when I brought it in. They gave me a floor mat for a GM vehicle. All my floor mats previously said TACOMA.7/20 - They replaced all my floormats with new ones. If I need body work done in the future I will be going back here.Service: Body & Trim

Highly recommended this place they do quality work in great time as well. Got my challenger hellcat driver side window replaced and had some work done to my driver side fender were there was a huge door ding. They finished all the work in just a few hours I had my car back by the evening of the same day I brought it in. The employees were really helpful and very easy to talk too, just a very calm and friendly experience over all.

My front bumper was cracked from road debris and needed replacing, so I visited Gerber for a quote and used them for the repair. I have used the Plainfield location in the past with good luck, but this location is closer to my work. In addition to the bumper, I asked if they'd try to buff out some scratches from a dog on the outside of a back door. They not only did a beautiful job of it, but they didn't charge me for it! Then, when I went to pick the car up tonight, I realized it was beautifully cleaned inside and out!! My dash and console were spotless, and the drivers' side mat that was caked in dirt and salt from the winter was perfectly clean!!! I'm absolutely thrilled and highly recommend Gerber on 28th St. They went above and beyond, and I'm so happy!Service: Body & Trim

They made what could have been a difficult time, car repair from someone running into me, seem pretty painless. Lisa was awesome at keeping me informed on the progress and Chad walked me through everything thoroughly. If I need collision work in the future I'd certainly go back.

Wife was rear ended in late October. Dropped the car off it sat there for a few days before they called us to tell us they didnt have the parts? really? we picked up the car again. Another month before they got the parts. car is done now. paint doesnt match the rest of the car. As of now (Jan 31,2022) its done. were just glad to have it done and move on. we were just another car to them. would I go back? I really hope we dont have to. If we NEED another body shop. I will have to look around for another one. 3 month dealing with this!!. smhService: Body & Trim

Chad was SO HELPFUL! This whole store went out of their way to efficiently and affordably fix my car. My car looks better now than it ever did. I am amazed! Customer service was out of this world! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend Gerber collision, but specifically this location!

Much to my surprise, my car was declared totaled after receiving a large estimate from these guys. I and a few others had thought my car didn't have much damage. I wish I could have gotten a second opinion, but the surrender process moved too quickly.I had a box of car parts/misc items like oil and windshield wiper fluid in the back of my car which was for some reason removed and taken inside to the back of the shop. They were going to let me leave without it if I had not asked where it was. Because of this, I would advise any future customers to either take inventory of their car before leaving it or to empty it beforehand. I was already feeling uneasy about this place from having the unexpectedly high estimate, and this did not help.Pros however; I did appreciate that they gave me a rental car to use while mine was in the shop, with no expense to me.Service: Body & Trim

My bumper recently got damaged, so I brought it in to Gerber, requesting the least amount of work on it to make it functional. After I left, they realized that taking it off would result in a huge bill, but they were honest and just fixed minor things to make it look a little better and still be inexpensive. I appreciate them so much!

They worked directly with my insurance company safeco. They set up the rental car for me and had it ready made it easy to return. They repaired the damages to my car and made it look great. Yes I recommend this company

I called Gerber this afternoon to schedule a time to come to get a quote for repairs. I explained that I wanted a quote to determine if I would pay for repairs out of pocket or file an insurance claim. I talked to Lisa who basically told me this was not an option and explained some nuances with my insurance provider. I asked her to clarify as I didn't really understand what she was saying and she rudely told me "What I am saying is exactly what I just said..." and repeated herself. No thanks - I will get the quote and repairs done elsewhere.

Office staff nice and professional, and Chad is Great!When I called to schedule my appt due to auto accident, the first things Chad asked me was if everyone was ok. This simple question and the very nice body work were the reasons I brought my car back to G.C.G. when when it was hit a 2nd time a few weeks later.

do great repairs, when it came to a total, they sent my auto to auction before the title cleared. i was forced to find a ride 50 miles away to empty my auto. lacks communication. also NEVER HELPED GETTING ME A RENTAL.

Had to get an estimate, had an writing one in about 20 minutes. They also made arrangements for the rental car company to pick me up when the work is done. Worked with me on when we could schedule the work.
