I had a stuck bolt in my transmission bell housing, and this was the only business willing to assist me. They got the bolt out with minimal cost. Highly recommend thier services!

C-Tech did a knockout job re-sleeving my mercury outboard block! Arnie is a master of his trade! Hopefully engine troubles never have me calling here again, but in the case that they do, I would 1000% be a repeat customer. Great people and even better work. Arnie, is just one of those guys you want for your builds. We run rice and that market is difficult and just like any sport is costs money to go fast and keep it together.We are fortunate enough to have a great business to coordinate with. Excellent garage clean and they have the right equipment.

C-tech is the best! Great guys to work with, and they take pride in their work!Edit: I'm sorry Arnie! I went to performance engineering in 2022 because you guys were super busy, and regretted it. Ctech is by far the best engine shop in West Michigan! I promise to never go anywhere, but ctech again!

C Tech is just the greatest...I had an unusual project, rebuilding a VW 1600 aircooled motor. Arnie worked with me throughout the process to make sure I got everything I needed. This is a wonderful shop. Honesty and experience at a fair price.

If you want to know about engines. Don't go to Napa. Go to people who know engines. People who do it everyday. Not, people who speculate how it should be done. Arnie knows his stuff. This is his profession. He is a professional. And he will help you.

Engine builders in the Grand Rapids area, this place is the real deal. While every other machine shop told me they were "not comfortable" with the idea of modifying a small block Chevrolet intake manifold, literally the most common and historic engine to build, C-tech simply scratched their head at my absurd idea of putting a distributor hole in an LT-1 intake and said "yup we can do that for ya". It takes real experience and pride in your capabilities to take care of your customers and take on a strange request. This is the only shop that would do it, and they did it with pride, a smile on their face, and at an absurdly fair price. Confidence in capabilities is an earned quality, and a rare one. It comes from hard work and a passion for doing your job well. In an age of "everything is disposible" and "yes we can install Edelbrock blah blah I think I can spin a wrench" it's so relieving to know there's at least one place with the pride and capabilities to accommodate other real gearheads. I can guarantee there is no better place in this area to trust your hard earned passion for performance with.

Very well run shop great management they know what they're talking about whether it's old or new they got you covered they went out of their way to make sure the job I needed to be done was done fast and right I would definitely recommend this place just wish I knew about this place before

Messaged about 6 places between here and Detroit and called a few others. Had only 2 reply, these guys and 1 other. That also e says something about their customer service, in process of rebuilding Chevy 305 and will be bringing head and block down here.
