Awesome place. Wendy was amazing dealing with my calls. I had a major repair done and within 5 days I had my vehicle back. I know people don t trust small auto repair shops but they are the best and I wouldn t go to anyone else in the area. Having family in the industry I m very impressed with everything. I am very Hao and pleased with Wendy and the mechanic that worked on my vehicle. From start to finish they were fantastic in getting my vehicle fixed. Prices were not at the high end but also not at the low end but they were fair. I just moved to this area and will be using them for my car needs.

My car was having trouble and I had it towed here because it was the closest shop to where I worked. They replaced the battery on my car but it continued to stall out every time I idled. Their mechanic assured me I needed a new sensor that cost nearly $200. Upon getting this installed I experienced the same problem as if they did nothing to fix it. I brought m car to my normal mechanic closer to my home rather than this place by my work. All he did to fix the problem was reset my battery, a $30 fix that this place did not try. Now, my car runs fine. Essentially I spent much more money than I needed to on something that did not improve my car at all. Their service is terrible there as they will never call you with an update on your car. I would never, in any circumstance, recommend this pile to any of my friends or family to take their vehicle. The owner, Frank, is a snake that will do anything to get your money and does not provide any sort of quality service. I will not be coming back here again.

I have had them do some detailing work on both of my cars interior and exterior. They have done a really good job with it. The front counter is great and freindly. My cars always look great after they have done them. I was always happy and they always honored my appointments and finished my car when they said they would. Said a price and they charged me for that. I have not had any mechanical stuff done there but they sure clean cars nice.

Great people! Wendy and Kris are so nice and accommodating. The prices advertised on the board for common services are comparable to other local shops. They let me know one of my auto issues should be covered by warranty work performed by another shop, and saved me a bunch of money. I appreciate the honesty. I was prepared to take the bus to come back to get my truck, but they offered me a free ride instead. The parking lot looks full because they do work for local auto dealers (which is a positive testimony for their work). Just park around the North side & they'll move your car to where they need it.

This place...HORRIBLE!! First of all..Frank is a smooth talker and will make you believe anything. So if you decide to talk to them and see about possible services rendered there, be careful. they had my car for 4 months and kept running me in circles on what was being done. Wendy, who is his secretary, would somehow never remember our past conversations on what was said and accused me of lying. Shes rude!!After they had the car for 1 month, I called and complained to frank why it was taking so long. He told me they were trying to "save" me money and get used parts because it was going to be costly. He ran by #s by me for new parts and we agreed on an amount. 3 months later...finally got my car back and out of all the work that needed to be done to my car after my accident..only part of it was done. About a month after I got my car back, my radiator broke (which was one of the few things fixed). I brought it to a new shop and they confirmed the shop before didn't install it correctly and it shook and broke and they had it fixed within 2 days. I would never recommend this place to anyone. When i got my car towed to the new mechanics, the tow guy told me they have never heard any good reviews, just a lot of bad.

My elderly mother went to get a remote car starter a few months ago. Within a few months her car would not start so she brought it to her mechanic and they found that the remote starter unit was hot. They removed it and her car was fine. She went with my brother to get this addressed and the owner was very loud and denied it was their part that was the issue. The front desk asked her why she waited so long to come in, but it hadn't been more than a month since she had the issue. My mom is 82 and recently lost my dad and needed someone to go with her. When she explained this to the owner he just told her he understood she is a widow, but that he is a single parent. He came across like he totally did not care!! He will not reimburse her and wants her to bring her car in so he can have it a whole day to evaluate it at $75.00 per hour!! My mom was so shook she never wants to hear his voice again!! She had a conversation yesterday on the phone and said she just cried after she hung up the phone!! I truly hope this man can live with himself every night knowing how he treated her!! I would NOT wish this on anyone! Good luck if you decide to go there! I know our VERY LARGE FAMILY will not!

Went in a few years ago for a starter replacement. I never thought that their replacement starter sounded quite right. Finally had to go to a different shop for a replacement and they showed me that the original starter was still on the car, so auto first NEVER REPLACED IT and charged me over $300. Don't have receipts, so I have no recourse, but, if you use them, insist that they show you old parts...don't trust them!

Friendly and helpful staff. I had to reschedule my appointment, but look forward to having them work on my car in a few weeks. They were very kind in helping me get it all figured out.

This place is no good. They do whatever they want. I took my car for a remote starts that works with your cell phone from anywhere in the world. I went to pick up my car and they put the wrong remote starter. I ask them why and no one new anything. Next day they call me and told me that they were not able to put the one I wanted because my car have an anti theft system wich is funny because a relative of mine have anti theft system and have the same remote I wanted. I told them that if they were not able to do it they should let me know before doing something I did not want neither I approve. Really un proffessional. if I could i give it a zero star. On the review.

Had an appointment today scheduled to have the remote starter recalibrated which I assume is a reasonably understandable thing to need done when I needed to replace my car battery a few days ago.My appointment was scheduled for 1pm, I arrived at 12:45pm, when the woman answering the phones asked a mechanic if he could take a look at my car, he refused because he was working on another vehicle, that a customer dropped off, because he was uncertain as to how long it would take to work on my car, despite she explained the issue I was having, and he said "oh, so it just needs to be calibrated." She explained that I wasn't going to be leaving the car behind because I had an appointment, he still refused to take a look at my car until he was done with the other car.I stepped outside of the building to stand in the rain to make a phone call because the music was too loud in the waiting area, only to witness that the mechanic wasn't bringing my car into the garage until 1:30pm.The display case featuring a bag phone, 20 year old flip phone, sun-faded boxes was a nice touch, but my favorite was sitting in the waiting area amongst a bicycle, piano, and mop bucket with dirty water that looked like coffee. This may be the first business establishment to be featured on a episode of 'Hoarders: Buried Alive.'

Shady, rip off and almost got my family killed. Plus slow. Went there to have a tow kit and light hook ups installed. Hooked up a trailer, drove on the highway and nearly was killed from getting rear ended, and got a ticket because the running lights weren't working. Take it back to find out why it wasn't working. They tell us after waiting a hour and a half, that we need a converter because of the amber tail lights. A Google search later and what they installed wasn't needed is completely hooked up wrong in the wrong place and not for my vehicle. Will never go back and Wendy is a beyond a jerk.

Well the place we bought our from said we had to take it to them we get our car back in worse shape it was in .... Broke bolts in engine supposedly had to replace motor then my exhaust is loud now an today as since it's snowing went to start my car with our remote start guess what it's not working.... The check engine light is still on as well as the anti theft light ... When we drive the wheels make noises as well .. all this because my check engine light was on an took it to AutoZone an there report came back as it was something eles.... So as of now with no money to get it tested on our own some place else I pray that my car lasts threw the dam winter ...Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Great customer service. They were very reasonably priced and they had my car in and out in a day! I had a few friends recommend them and say they would use them again and I completely agree. I would recommend to anyone!

This is the absolute worst mechanic shop. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I brought my vehicle here twice and now my vehicle won t start, and I only went here for axle work. I went back there and the rude lady at the front desk told me they did nothing wrong. Then she was going to charge me, because they looked at my vehicle to make sure they did nothing wrong. I wish we could give negative stars, because they deserve all of them. THEY ARE CROOKS.

Wendy told us we where having a top line car alarm installed. She claimed they are the best installers around. Yesterday the system locked up leaving my wife strained. We called Wendy to inquire where the valet over ride button was installed and she claimed it was to much work to perform that task. I called the manufacturer and they told me it is a must to have this installed in order to override the system in case of a malfunction. We had another mechanic remove the system since we needed the car for meetings today. What a nightmare. This company claims to have morals but unfortunately they don't follow them. This is a warning, beware of this costly venture!

Extremely unprofessional, very rude. These folks have a reputation for screwing people over and not lifting a finger to correct it. I only wish I had found out about this before I had taken my car there for service as this seems to be a well-known fact among the respectable mechanics of the West MI area.As if the services provided by inept mechanics weren't bad enough, "The Glue", AKA front deskwoman and all-around nightmare, Wendy, takes up the fight on behalf of her sorry coworkers in the shop whenever she feels the corrupt state of her business is at risk of being divulged. She'll yell, deny past conversations and lie at the drop of a hat, so do make sure if you decide to do business with these folks that you document EVERYTHING.The boss, Frank, is a self-righteous joke of a businessman who cares only about the bottom line. Who needs customer satisfaction when there's money involved?I am quite honestly surprised that this place is still open. I guess some people are happy to give their cars over to children for service and enjoy being treated like the gum on the bottom of a table.

Took my very dirty car to get it detailed and when I got my car back, I didn't even recognize it! They did an amazing job detailing and their customer service was outstanding! Very friendly and let me pick up my car past their closing time! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend their services!

The ones posting the good reviews have to be family or friends. They have me replacing the rotors and brakes unnecessarily. The problem persisted after spending about 300 dollars. Went back to them, the guy "looked at it again " or atleast that is what he said. He came back and whisper something to the lady Cindy. Then she told me everything was ok. So, i went to another place and they told me i need it to replace the rotors that they were bent just like them. I told them i just had them done. So i proceed to go to this place called rafas taller on division just next to the Rodriguez supermarket. They took the truck inside, removed the wheel, rotor...turned the ignition and pressed the gas...and there it was the mountain was spinning like crazy. The problem was the differential. And I did not pay a penny. Just what i thought. So, this people don't know a thing they do and untop of everything they charge just to look at it. The other place i went one stop auto repair llc on 28th next to taco bell, scratch the side and front bumper just to look at it, and kept there mouth shut. But i noticed just the next morning when washing the truck so i couldn't go and blamed them bc it was 2 late.

Extremely Poor service! I contacted Auto First to replace the starter on my vehicle. I called on a tuesday and was told that they would come pick my vehicle up from my house, which is right up the street, that night. They never came so i called back and was told they got super busy and they asked me if they could come get it in the morning. I said that was fine and explained that i was headed out of town until Sunday and didn't really care when they came to get it as long as it was fixed by monday morning for me to get to work. Friday it still had not been picked up and i called all day saturday and no one answered the phone even though they are suppose to be opened on saturdays. I got home sunday from my vacation and my vehicle was still sitting in the same spot it was when I left. They never came and got it therefore it never got fixed. I gave them 5days to fix it and they couldn't do it. I understand things happen but there is NO EXCUSE as to why I didn't get a phone call saying they couldn't do. I wasted 5 days without my vehicle when i could have called another company to fix it. Needless to say I will NEVER do business with Auto First again. I am very disappointed in their customer service and the fact that they couldn't pick up the phone and call me. I would not recommend doing business with them!!

Guy is a liar and cheat worked on my car 4 times still doesnt work. Had my car for a total of 15 days lost my job because they couldnt fix it the right time it went from brakes to a new engine. Dont trust this guy he stole from me and my family

Brought my car here under warranty they moved my car to there other location without even telling me, car wasn't under warranty but they fixed it anyways without having me okay the price so I paid 300$ for what I thought was a fixed car to now find out it was never fixed. Won't be going back to this shop again, lacking honesty and communication

Yes they can be slow sometimes but only because so many people come for their service! A respectable ma and pa like auto shop with whom I love to do business. Been going for about two years for little services here and there and every time it is affordable and easy!

This place is scrotie. Busted up cars littering their parking lot. Made an appointment to drop off my girlfriends car to have brakes checked out and they never even looked at them. When we picked the car up, all the mechanics were just standing around smoking, not working on anything. Ended up taking it somewhere else, we will not be back.

3 trips 1800 dollars paid still couldnt fix issue with vehicle. Charged for 2 diagnostic fees for same issue when I questioned him he assaulted me. STAY AWAY VIOLENT CROOK HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND YOUR CAR STILL WONT WORK!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Stay away from here , they overcharged me, they harassed my insurance company calling them asking when they would put (my) money in My bank account! They put parts on my car that ii didn t ask for. And my car runs worst than it did before ii brought it in
