I recently purchased a BMW touring from a private buyer in MI. I purchased this vehicle site unseen as I live in VA. I requested a PPI on the vehicle which was done by Dixon. Not only did they do it in a very timely manner, they updated me with feedback & photos of the few negatives they found which gave me confidence in buying the vehicle. Due to purchasing this vehicle site unseen, I asked the owner of Dixon, Phil, if he would facilitate this sale to put me at ease as I could not travel to get the car myself. While I do not know if he does this regularly, he immediately said yes & did exactly what was asked to give me the utmost confidence that I was safe in this transaction. I took delivery of my vehicle yesterday & I couldn't be happier. I have to thank Phil tremendously for his assistance as he provided the reassurance I needed to feel good about this purchase. Unfortunately, I am not closer to him to do business more regularly however I encourage those that are to take advantage of it. I cannot recommend him enough.

The team at Dixon is fantastic. Worked with Colby via phone over the course of a few days before my exhaust drop shipped to his shop. Once it arrived on Friday at 130p his team immediately started the install. By 530p that same day I was there to meet his team and drive away as one happy customer. Very good hourly install rate and exceptional install. Please see the final product. Thank you again guys

I recently had rod bearings, motor mounts, ICV, injectors, and a couple other items replaced on my E92 M3. Turnaround time was fantastic, prices were great, shop is clean, and Phil and Colby are all around great guys to work with. I ll definitely be back in the future.

Wow So thankful I brought my car in. Very professional, clean shop. Knowledgeable and patient , I had many questions that were all answered respectfully. Was happy they could work on my car during holiday season..Definitely recommend this shop and will be bringing my vehicles here in the future.

My son wanted to buy his first bmw, a friend recommended that I bring the new car into Dixon for an inspection before purchase. So glad we did! The vehicle had a couple of problems that needed to be corrected immediately, we purchased the car and brought it back to Dixon to have the work done.Work was excellent, done at a reasonable price, and really gave me confidence that we made a good decision on the car.Highly recommend these guys!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Best BMW shop in Michigan. Phil Dixon is the only person I ll let do repairs on my foreign cars. Colby is very nice and professional as well. Great person to have working the front of the shop. Honest, reasonably priced and quality work every time. 10/10

Took my E36 M3 in for diagnostic for a misfire. Phil and Colby were very nice and their rate was very reasonable. Would recommend them to anyone that needs their car diagnosed and worked on. Will be back for future shop needs!

I haven t yet had the chance to see the new shop, but have gotten my BMWs serviced by these guys numerous times with great results. I had them swap a blown motor in an 09 335i for me, and through the whole process of: me securing my own parts, back and forth calls, and a defective turbo, they were able to do all the work with no complaints/issues and were punctual! Brad did a K-jet to carb swap on an old low mileage e21 320i for me, explained everything he did, and even over a year later still answers my calls and helps me as I mess with it on my own time. I ve had other minor work done here with good results, and most recently a rod bearing job on my e46 m3. Glad to see that these guys are growing and have moved to a new location, hope that same level of customer service remains!Service: Engine repair

They are not bad, but I had to take my daughter's car to a different mechanic to find out her differentials are going bad. I did not ask them to look over the car. I did take it back saying I felt something. I thought it was the original repair they did. Turns out it was a different problem. Would have been nice to have them tell me other problems were wrong with the car. My daughter told me when she picked up her car they never told her any additional problems with her car. I called and was told they found other problems but never told her. I want one mechanic not to fix my vehicles. I don't want to go get a second opinion for what's wrong with my car. They are very nice people in this building. I do think they are able to do good work. Just for me it is not what I'm looking for in a mechanic.

They did a wonderful job fixing my car!! I really appreciate their understanding and kindness; working with me on getting my car fixed properly. It took a couple weeks but it was worth the wait. I would recommend this place to my friends and family! Again, it took a little while but I know they are really busy here, thank you again! I had an amazing experience and highly recommend Colby and the crew here at Dixon. After having a bad experience at one shop and dealership (telling us the repair was complete when it wasn t) coming here was refreshing and how it should be done. When I first called, they were able to give me a quote quickly and the communication was great ever since, even sent me updates via text along the way. Calling around most other shops didn t know what I was talking about or could perform the kind of repair my car needed. These guys were knowledgeable, quick, friendly and most importantly my car is fixed and running as smooth as butter! When I went to pay, to my surprise the cost was less than I was expecting. I found out the repair took less time so they charged me less. It is hard to find good, honest, mechanics and I am happy we found our new go-to s though hoping we don t need another repair for a while!! I typically don t leave reviews but I felt this situation was necessary. From start to finish this is what every business should aspire to be. I bought my wife a new vehicle from Dixon Motorsports. Colby was over the top professional right from the start and very helpful with any questions I had. Phil was a wealth of knowledge for any and all mechanical questions I had for him. Being a mechanic myself in a different field I am typically skeptical on others opinions and advice. To say the least.... they know their BMW s. The vehicle had run ability issues just a couple weeks after we had purchased it. I called Colby the next morning to explain what happened. He had the vehicle towed to their shop and Phil had a resolution for me within hours. Very impressive. They had the vehicle fixed the following morning. The communication was excellent and the price was very affordable. I will be using these guys in the future without a doubt and recommend everyone that is a BMW owner and or enthusiast to check them out. Great work guys!

Dixon Motorsports was recommended to me from the Michigan MINI FB page and they lived up to the recommendations. Everyone was so friendly and down to earth. They immediately identified the problem with my convertible roof and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Phil and his staff are extremely knowledgeable with diagnosis and repairs needed for my vehicle. My 135is had multiple software and mechanical problems with the DCT and a leaky valve cover gasket. They were able to promptly do the repairs as well as work with my 3rd party warranty. They even gave me a loaner car during the repair! I cannot express how important it is to find a shop that is as honest and efficient.If you have trouble with your BMW (or any other car in fact) I would highly recommend you to stop by.

Found them by accident and has been the best thing that has happened to this 1st time BMW owner.Always honest diagnosis and fair pricing. I've asked them to check on things here and there and every time their recommendations are right on point. Never have they tried to perform more than what is needed. Had my transmission serviced and thrust arm replaced. Phill did a great job and I am going in next week to get my belts replaced as well. I am really glad I found this place. Will take my BMW here for all my future service. Thanks again for the honest work.

Amazing service! Professional mechanics and great customer service! I am so impressed with these guys! They used the best parts they took my car in quicker than anybody and fixed it within a day! No issues no sur charges no extra drama. Quick and efficient! I called Dixon to get an estimate on some work needed to get my truck ready to sell. I learned that they also purchase vehicles and was offered a very fair price for my truck. The process was really quick and simple. That same day my truck was picked up and I was given a cheque for the agreed upon price! I will definitely be calling Dixon in the future for any vehicle needs.

Great experience. Brought in my E90 for an oil change. Colby was working in the office and Phil in the shop. Both were very friendly and helpful. They serviced my car at the time of my appointment and had me out quickly (unlike the dealer).Phil went above and beyond, troubleshooting the recent notification for a dead taillight bulb to determine which bulb and then showing me how to gain access and change it myself. Additionally, he advised that the leak in the oil pan gasket (that the dealer recommended be replaced for >$1,000) was minor and not necessary at its current state. I appreciated the communication and honesty and that they did not try to sell me on unnecessary maintenance and service.

Phil and Colby are one of the best welcoming business owners. Phil has several years of experience working at dealerships (especially at Erhard BMW) and it s clearly notable in the attention to details he provides while he has your car. Very knowledgeable and very responsive people. Results in minimum wait time and very reasonable price.Especially if you have BMW and out of Warranty, this is your shop to do all minor to major work! You can totally rely on these guys who go and above and beyond to help you out.

I have a 2019 BMW 4 series and needed an oil change and rear breaks. I tried to get an appointment at the BMW dealership but they were completely booked for a few weeks. I googled Dixon Motorsports and went to visit the shop to meet the team prior to me agreeing to let them repair my vehicle.I MUST say that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this certified BMW repair facility to anyone looking for an alternative to the dealership - the customer service was amazing. What I value MOST was the communication from the service team with me. I was given a fair price for the services provided and it was exceptional.My car had a "recall" on a part that I needed and Dixon told me about the recall and also had my car towed to the Farmington Hills Dealership so that the recall could be recorded and repaired by BMW as a official repair. As a single black woman who dreads going into repair shops due to the shady practices by most repair shops... The team at Dixon didn't try to scam me or take advance of my ignorance regarding my car. I drive and put gas in my BMW so finding a credible repair shop was a blessing.The owners of Dixon use to work at the BMW dealership but decided to open their own repair shop. I'm so proud of these young men! Talented and Professional.I'm now a loyal customer. Second time Iv been here first time was amazing experience as well! Took my girlfriends 5 series here to get some suspension and other things checked out. We were told by belle tire the control arms were so bad they couldn t even do a alignment. Had Dixon check it out and was told everything was tight and the control arms were fine. They easily could of just said the control arms were bad and I would of paid to got them done. It s almost impossible to find a honest shop especially for foreign cars! I would absolutely not hesitate to take my car there for anything !! Great honest people that do top notch service !

Fantastic service, great price and quick turnaround. Nothing you can get at a BMW dealership. Just had my starter changed, tow truck dropped it off they contacted me via text after diagnosing the problem and gave me a price, I OK'd the cost and paid online and am picking it up after hours and they put the keys in a lock box. How much better does service get, highly recommend PHIL, he is a master mechanic.
