Computer module for my fuel pump wired and installed on short notice as I needed the vehicle for work. Check engine light was still on when I left the shop. Take it back to the shop and they charge me 40 bucks to tell me my check engine light is on (which they already knew since they left it that way). Supposedly fuel pump is bad $566 repair. No mention of this originally on my paperwork when I picked the truck up from the first repair. Fuel pump is almost brand new as of last year and tests fine. Likely shoddy electrical work done by the mechanic keeping my engine light on. Diagnostic knowledge obviously doesn't go past the scan tool here. Now I'm stuck chasing the issue on my own. Can't imagine how many good people have gotten scammed for expensive repairs with these shoddy business practices. Have had many friends say the same but gave them a shot because of the good reviews. Wish I called Mikes auto down the road.

They got me in quickly, were reasonably priced, noticed something wrong with my other tires and offered to fix it right away. Highly recommend. They just need a few more chairs in their waiting area.

I just called them to ask about a Harmon stove, to the tune of $5000 in pricing. I asked just a few questions as I've been looking at these for week and told him a different dealer not far from here offered a few hundred off of the stove as a military discount. Once I mentioned this he told me good luck and hung up on me. I called back and asked if that was his way of doing business and he said he wasn't in the business of wasting his time, buy the other stove. Click, and he hung up, no discussion or dialog to want a local purchase. I will never recommend him or source anything from him. It was rude and he could have at least talked to me and not hung up.Service: Exhaust

Excellent service. We stayed at a local campground, and needed a repair to my hitch for my truck/camper, got it fixed right away, and made it back to grand rapids. So glad he was there to help right away. Highly recommend.

After searching for 10 years to find a trustworthy mechanic, I finally found one. These guys truly know their stuff. They don't try to up sell or tell you that you need work you don't actually need. I've been going to them for 2 years now and I will never go anywhere else.

I was quoted that the job would take an hour up to an hour and a half. The job only took 45 minutes. I was explain the type of work that would be done but when they were done, the steps they said they would do were not done. They did charge me for the hour and a half of labor time, which was double the mount of time it took. They didn't perform the work that was quoted. I spoke with the woman at the front desk about the discrepancies and she told me I would need to speak with the mechanic. When I asked the mechanic about the work, he told me that I was mistaken. I thanked them for their time and then left. I will not be doing business with Joe and Son's again, and I would not recommend them to anyone else. They are dishonest. There are other places to get exhaust work done, and I would stay away from these guys.

I was on a camping trip and the power steering and brakes went out on my truck, I managed to drive it to Joe's, he got to it the same day and had it back on the road with a new power steering pump and hose by the end of the Day

I will never go back to this place. They kept my vehicle for 2 days and didn't fix anything. They had the worse attitudes I've seen at a business. They didn't like the fact we bought our own parts, they told us they wouldn't even fix just one line that if they didn't do them all they wouldn't do it at all.
